Rapid increase of human population together with environmental changes to reduce crop yields are threatening human survival since these problems are expected to cause food shortage soon. Edible insects are getting attention as a new food resource that can solve forthcoming food shortages since they are particularly rich in protein and unsaturated fatty acids. Thus, when they are used as food, it is important to prepare the extract formulation with high yield of proteins and other nutritional components with minimal damage to them. In this study, 5 extraction methods were used, which were hot water (HW), autoclave (AT), high pressure treatment for 5 minutes (HP5), high pressure treatment for 10 minutes (HP10) and enzymatic hydrolysis (ENZ), and ten extracts were prepared by using one of these methods or combinations thereof. The extracts prepared were HW, AT, AT/ENZ, AT/ENZ/HW HP5/HW, HP5/ENZ, HP5/ENZ/HW, HP10/HW, HP10/ENZ, HP10/ENZ/HW, which were investigated for yields, molecular sizes of the components, amino acid (AA) composition and antioxidant activities. The extracts prepared using ENZ method were observed to contain high contents of total AA, high ratio of essential/non-essential AA and high antioxidant activity. Thus, ENZ method is recommended to prepare the high quality-extract of this insect.

현재까지 사용되는 인증 기술에서는 패스워드 기반의 인증스킴이 주로 사용되고 있다. 공개된 네트워크상에서의 인증스킴의 안전성 보장을 위하여 많은 인증스킴이 연구 및 제안되고 있지만, 이러한 인증스킴들은 아직까지 여러 보안 취약점의 문제를 갖고 있다. 2010년 Cho는 Lee 등의 인증스킴을 분석하여 보안이 개선된 원격 인증스킴을 제안하였지만, 이 인증스킴 또한 여전히 공격자에 의한 DoS 공격과 훔친 검증자 공격에 대한 취약점을 가지고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 Cho의 원격 인증스킴에 대해 분석하고, DoS 공격과 훔친 검증자 공격에 대해 안전하지 못함을 증명한다.

최근 발달된 IT 기술을 활용하여 국내에서는 업무와 삶의 균형을 추구하는 스마트워크 기술 개발에 대한 움직임이 활발히 진행되고 있다. 그러나 국내의 많은 기업들이 스마트워크 기술 도입의 악영향으로 보안 관리에 대한 문제를 지적하고 있다. 이러한 보안 관리 문제는 기술만으로 해결하는 것이 아니라, 기업에서의 기술?정책적 관리를 통해 스마트워크 환경에서 발생할 수 있는 보안 사고를 미연에 방지할 수 있다. 이에 본 고에서는 스마트워크 환경에 대한 보안위협과 스마트워크 환경을 구축하기 위해 필요한 보안 요구사항에 대하여 분석하고자 한다.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Shallow geothermal potential needs to be evaluated when introducing the ground source heat pump (GSHP) system. Accurate evaluation of shallow geothermal potential can be done by estimating underground thermal properties with precision. The data previously established from measuring underground thermal properties, however, have limitations in that the locations where the measurements were made were not identical. Therefore, this study aimed to develop a hybrid model for estimating UGT using the finite element method (FEM) and the kriging method. This study was conducted in three steps: (i) data collection; (ii) estimation of the UGT in 216 non-measurement locations using FEM and the kriging method; and (iii) estimation of the shallow geothermal potential using the geothermal potential (G.POT) method. The average mean absolute percentage error of the hybrid model (3.67%) was lower than those of the other estimation models using FEM and the kriging method (FEM: 4.62%; Kriging method: 6.34%). Thus, the analysis showed that the developed hybrid model was the most suitable method for estimating UGT in all the length ranges (65–250m) where the ground heat exchanger was to be installed. The hybrid model can help policy makers evaluate shallow geothermal potential at the national level.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> The developed hybrid model can estimate the undisturbed ground temperature. </LI> <LI> This study used the finite element method, kriging method, and G.POT method. </LI> <LI> G.POT method was introduced considering the underground environment in South Korea. </LI> <LI> The developed hybrid model was improved in terms of the estimation accuracy. </LI> <LI> It can help policy makers evaluate the shallow geothermal potential. </LI> </UL> </P>

Recently mealworm (Tenebrio molitor) and two-spotted cricket (Gryllus bimaculatus) have been studied intensively as alternative protein sources. In order to improve the digestion and absorption of edible insect protein, it is necessary to reduce the molecular weight like peptides and amino acids. Therefore, in this study, we obtained low molecular weight hydrolysate extract (HIE) by high pressure processing (HPP) and enzymatic hydrolysis of mealworms and tow-spotted crickets to enhance the bioavailability of edible insect proteins.And the antioxidant and ant-inflammatory properties of insect hydrolysis extract (HIE) were evaluated to determine bioavailability of hydrolysates. 1)HIE had higher radical scavenging capacities than unprocessed insects. In addition, HIE enhanced DPPH and ABTS radical scavenging activities in LPS-induced Raw 264.7 cells than unprocessed insects. Moreover, 2)HIE treatment significantly reduced LPS-inducible cytokine productions in both transcriptional and post-translational manners cells than unprocessed insects in murine macrophage cells. Therefore, HIE may be delivered effectively to increase their anti-oxidative and anti-inflammatory properties.

The dependency of the output factor on the field size in the passive scattering proton therapy at the National Cancer Center (NCC) in Korea was investigated through a comparison of the measured output factors. The output factor of the fields of the representative beam options was measured using a Pinpoint chamber with standard circular blocks of less than 5 cm in diameter. The measured output factors for different field sizes show that the dependency of the output factor on the field size is not negligible even in the field for the 5 cm in diameter for long-range proton beams. In addition, the conflicting dependency in shallow fields indicates that the potential contribution of scattered protons should be considered in predicting and modelling of the output factors in small fields.
