Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) possesses a higher rate of distant recurrence and a poorer prognosis than other breast cancer subtypes. Interestingly, most of the heat shock protein 90 (Hsp90) client proteins are oncoproteins, and some are closely related to unfavorable factors of TNBC patients. 17-Demethoxy-reblastatin (17-DR), a novel nonbenzoquinone- type geldanamycin analog, exhibited potent Hsp90 ATPase inhibition activity. In this study, the anticancer effects of 17-DR on TNBC MDA-MB-231 cells were investigated. These results showed that 17-DR inhibited cell proliferation, induced apoptosis, and suppressed cell invasion and migration in the MDA-MB-231 cells. Down-regulation of the key Hsp90-dependent tumor-driving molecules, such as RIP1 and MMP-9, by 17-DR may be related to these effects. Taken together, our results suggest that 17-DR has potential as a therapeutic agent for the treatment of TNBC.

Background: Through search the possible randomized control trials, we make a renewed meta-analysis in order to assess the impact of aspirin in preventing the recurrence of colorectal adenoma. Materials and Methods: The Medicine/PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials (CENTRAL), Chinese biomedical literature service system (SinoMed) databases were searched for the related randomized controlled trials until to the April 2016. Three different authors respectively evaluated the quality of studies and extracted data, and we used the STATA software to analyze, investigate heterogeneity between the data, using the fixed-effects model to calculate and merge data. Results: 7 papers were included the renewed meta-analysis, among these studies, two pairs were identified as representing the same study population, with the only difference being the duration of follow-up. Thus there were only five papers included our meta-analysis, and one Chinese paper were also included the work. Results were categorized by the length of follow-up, different kinds of people, varied dose of oral aspirin. The relative of adenoma in patients taking aspirin vs placebo were 0.73 (95% CI 0.55-0.98, P=0.039) with 1 year follow up; 0.84 (95% CI 0.72-0.98, P=0.484) with greater than 1 year follow up; for the advanced adenoma, the RR 0.68 (95% CI 0.49-0.94, P=0.582),for one year; RR=0.75 (95% CI 0.52-1.07, P=0.552) for greater one year. Furthermore the white population could divided into two subgroups according to the different length of follow-up time. When the length of follow-up time less than 3-year, The RR of two subgroups respective were RR=0.86 (95% CI 0.76-0.98, P=0.332), $I^2=0%$, RR=0.68 (95% CI 0.47-0.98, P=0.552), $I^2=64.6%$, But with the extension of follow-up time greater than 2-year, with the white, oral aspirin without considering dose had no efficacy on preventing the recurrence of any adenoma, the RR was 0.86 (95% CI 0.71-1.05, P=0.302), $I^2=16.4%$. Conclusions: This meta-analysis indicated that oral aspirin is associated with a remarkable decrease in the recurrence of any adenoma and advanced adenomas in patients follow-up for 1 year without concerning the dose of aspirin, but with the extension of follow-up time for greater than 1 year, oral aspirin can be effective on preventing the recurrence of any adenoma, but for the advanced adenoma, the result indicated that oral aspirin had no efficacy, According to the inclusion of ethnic groups, we also divided relevant papers into two subgroups as the yellow and white group. Then the follow-up time was less than 3 years, oral aspirin without considering the dose, had an significant efficacy on preventing the recurrence of any adenoma. But with the follow-up greater than 2 years, oral aspirin had no effect in the white.

Background/Aims: Upregulated CD64 expression on neutrophils is the most useful marker for acute bacterial infections and systemic inflammation. However, it is unknown whether CD64 is involved in the pathogenesis of acute pancreatitis (AP). This study was designed to determine whether CD64 is implicated in severe acute pancreatitis (SAP), and thus, is a suitable marker for SAP. Methods: SAP was induced in rats with an intraperitoneal injection of L-arginine. CD64 expression in the rat pancreas was determined by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) and immunohistochemistry. Additionally, the CD64 mRNA expression in peripheral blood leukocytes from 21 patients with mild acute pancreatitis (MAP) and 10 patients with SAP was investigated at the time of admission and during remission by qRT-PCR. Results: CD64 mRNA and protein expression in the pancreas was significantly higher in rats with SAP, compared to the controls. The CD64 expression was higher in the patients with SAP than in the patients with MAP. During remission, CD64 mRNA decreased in both the MAP and SAP patients. The area under the curve of CD64 expression for the detection of SAP was superior to both the Ranson and the Acute Physiology and Chronic Health Evaluation II scores. Conclusions: The CD64 level was significantly increased in correlation with the disease severity in SAP and may act as a useful marker for predicting the development of SAP. Methanol synthesis from CO2 hydrogenation over Cu/g-Al2O3 catalysts modified by ZnO, ZrO2 and MgO
Hong Ren,Cheng-Hua Xu,Hao-Yang Zhao,Ya-Xue Wang,Jie Liu,Jian-Ying Liu 한국공업화학회 2015 Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Vol.28 No.-
Cu/g-Al2O3 catalysts for methanol synthesis from CO2 are prepared and modified by metal oxides viaimpregnation in the present work. Results indicate that promoters modification leads to the formation ofsmall Cu0 particles with a high dispersion, improves catalytic performance of Cu-based catalysts inmethanol synthesis. Moreover, the activation temperature is another important factor on affecting theCu0 dispersion and particle size. The investigation on CO2 hydrogenation shows that methanol is mainlyfrom hydrogenation of activated CO2 with active hydrogen on Cu0 particles, which is inhibited by highreaction temperature due to improvement on reverse water-gas shift reaction and methanation

Background: The dysregulation of LncRNAs is related to the malignant progression of many cancers. Objective: The study aimed to investigate the expression and the biological role of LncSNHG3 in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Methods: The TCGA data of the LncSNHG3 in HCC were analyzed. The expression in HCC cell lines was detected by qRT-PCR. Proliferation, migration, and invasion of HepG2 and Huh7 were examined by cell counting kit-8, colony formation, transwell assays, and wound healing assays. At the same time, the interactions among LncSNHG3, miR-152-3p, and JAK1 were confirmed by dual-luciferase reporter assay, RNA immunoprecipitation, subcellular distribution. Xenograft tumor-bearing mice models were used to measure the effect of LncSNHG3 on the growth of HCC in vivo. The apoptosis and epithelial mesenchymal transition (EMT)-associated proteins were checked by WB and IHC. Results: LncSNHG3 was overexpressed in HCC tissues and cell lines. In addition, it is correlated with the tumor stage and survival time of HCC patients. Down-regulated LncSNHG3 could significantly suppress the EMT progression of HCC in vivo and in vitro. LncSNHG3 could promote the JAK1 expression by sponging miR-152-3p. Conclusions: LncSNHG3 acted as an oncogene and promoted the EMT procession in HCC by binding miR-152-3p and promoting JAK1 expression. Predictably, LncSNHG3 was used as a potential marker and will be used as a novel therapy target for HCC in the future.

Yun-Hong Li,Jiang-Xue Wu,Qian He,Jia Gu,Lin Zhang,Hao-Zhi Niu,Xin-Wen Zhang,Han-Ting Zhao,Jia-Ying Xu,Li-qiang Qin 한국식품과학회 2022 Food Science and Biotechnology Vol.31 No.10
Radiation-induced liver damage (RILD) is a spiny problem in radiotherapy or other circumstances that exposure to radiation. The need for radioprotective agent is increasing to protect liver tissue. This study aimed to explore the hepatoprotective effect of p-coumaric acid (CA) against RILD. C57BL/6 male mice were exposed to 4 Gy irradiation and administrated with CA for 4 days starting on the same day of irradiation. Mice were sacrificed to obtain blood and liver tissues on day 3.5 or 14 post irradiation, respectively. The blood and liver tissues were collected. As compared with the only irradiated group, CA supplementation improved liver morphology, decreased serum alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase, inhibited BCL2-associated X (BAX) protein expression, and improved the mice hematopoietic function. CA at the dose of 100 mg/kg body weight showed better effect compared to the other doses. Thus, CA might possess potential to protect against RILD.
