LAN 환경에 적합한 저비용 고효율 스트림 서비스 알고리즘

Most stream servers currently in use are developed for WAN (Wide Area Network) or Internet to serve live video and VOD (Video On Demand) images. They are large in size and expensive, but not scalable to meet growing user requests. So, the users have to purchase more powerful, but expensive servers. However, many schools and institutions are not affordable to buy them, which are in fact too powerful for their LAN environments. This paper proposes a cost-effective algorithm which works efficiently in LAN environments. Each host of an institution belongs to a group in which a server is responsible for transmitting all the required services to the client hosts internally within the same group as well as to the remote servers externally. Once the remote server gets the services from the original server, it retransmits them to its members. As a result, it can reduce significant amounts of traffic and utilize the network resources more efficiently.

Catechol-O-methyltransferase (COMT; EC 2.1.1.6) is the enzyme which catalyzes the transfer of methyl group to the catecholamine neurotransmitters from its methyl donor S-adenosyl-L-methionine. Partially purified COMT from rat liver has been used to measure the concentration of catecholamines in the blood through solvent extraction and thin layer chromatography after converting ^3H-methyl derivatives of catecholamines. To improve this inconvenient and fluctuating method, an attempt was made to use COMT gene for the measurement of catecholamines. Specific primers, COMT5P (5'-TGC TCA GAG GTG CTT TGA AG-3') and COMT3P (5'-GGA GCC GCA GAA GGT CA G-3'), were used to amplify COMT gene from human placenta cDNA library. The amplified COMT gene through 35 cycles of polymerase chain reaction was cloned into T-vector and the nucleotide sequences are determined by automatic sequencer. Human COMT has two common variants, a thermostable high activity form which has valine at amino acid 158 and a thermolabile low activity form which Has methionine at the same position. The cloned COMT gene in this study has both variants. Clone 4 and 5 have valine at amino acid 158 (guanine at nucleotide 472) and clone 1-3 have methionine at this site (adenine at nucleotide 472). In addition to this, there are other DNA polymorphisms in COMT gene at nucleotide 101, 102 (amino acid 34, a structural mutation cysteine/serine) and nucleotide 186 (a silent mutation). All of the clones have cysteine at amino acid 34 (guanine and adenine at nucleotides 101 and 102) and cytosine at nucleotide 186 except clone 3 which has thymine at this nucleotide. Clone 4 and 5 are thermostable high activity variants, suggesting being more useful for the measurement of catecholamines after expressing the gene.

Current information society requires effective ways to process multimedia data like image, audio, video and so on, Many public of private information providers gather, store multimedia information and supply a different kind of multimedia data to users in everywhere. Most of users nowadays access multimedia data via internet. Audio and video data are usually transmitted to users by using streaming technology for instant replay. In this paper, we investigate database design techniques for effective retrieval of video segment and replay method of retrieved videos, Especially we shows the design and implementation technique for closed captioning of streaming file.
모든 호스트에서 사용 가능한 생방송 스트림 서버 모듈 개발에 관한 연구

Most existing stream servers set up a new independent session as a new request arrives from and end user. They are to be equipped with relatively expensive layer 3 or switches to support more users, though the switches are not affordable in most small and medium scale institutions such as colleges and K-12 schools. We develop a live stream server module which could be implemented/ported in any hosts in small and medium size intranet. Once the module is implemented in any hosts, the hosts can be a server regardless of their location in the intranet and the expensive layer 3 or 4 switches are not necessarily needed in the server.
무정자증 환자에 있어서 고환내 Leydig 세포의 변화에 관한 초미세형태학적 연구

The Leydig cells are identified in a peritubular boundary area of the testicular interstitium. These cells are differentiated in situ from myoid cells within the boundary layer and invaded into the interstitial tissue at puberty. The materials for study consisits of twenty cases of azospermia with cryptorchidism confirmed by sperm analysis at Chosun University Hospital. All cases were performed by hematoxylineosin stain and PAS stain for detection of Leydig cells, and ultrastructural abservation for change of cytoplasmic organelles in azospermic patients. The results obtained are follows. The leydig cells in the interstitial tissue of azospermic testis forming large clusters and showing hypertrophic change. Within the cytoplasm, numerous dilated endoplasmic reticulum, disrrupted mitochondria and osmiophilic round bodies are seen. A few myoid cells within the boundary layer are hypertrophied and show an intermediate pattern between myoid cells and Leydig cells. There are unusual cells, either single or clusters, within the thickened boundary layer. They can be identified as Leydig cells similar to the ordinary Leydig cells in the interstitial tissue. This findings indicated that ordinary function of Leydig cells are intact, but it is thought that the decreased function may be due to damage of the testis in cryptorchidism.

This paper reports on aspects in the design and implementation of Hanguel Logo programing language which reflects a model in the design and implementation of Hanguel programing language. This article contains an in-depth analysis of Logo interpreter and many problem involved in the implementation procedure of Hanguel Logo, and some methods on resolving them. Design and implementation of a graphic interface for Logo's turtle geometry are also presented.

Ameloblastic fibro-odontoma consists of ameloblastic fibroma combined with an odontoma. Ameloblastic fibro-odontoma affects somewhat younger patients than ameloblastic fibroma and 62% of patients are younger than 10 years. Clinical, radiologic, and histologic studies were performed in 9-year-old child of ameloblastic fibro-odontoma. Location of the lesion was the upper molar area. Radiographically, the opaque odontomatous tissues was observed in a circumscribed, but otherwise radiolucent area. Histologically, typical ameloblastic fibro-odontoma was associated with the calcifying or calcified dental tissues of an odontoma. In this paper, a case of ameloblastic fibro-odontoma of the maxilla and a review of the literature is presented.
Al-Cu-Mg合金의 時效析出에 미치는 豫備時效의 影響

The influences of preageing on age-precipitation in Al-2.02t% Cu-1.1wt% Mg alloy have been investigated by means of measurements of hardness, tensile strength and electrical resistivity and transmission electron microscopy. The results obtained are summarized as follows. The two-step aged alloy is more age-hardenable than the onestep aged alloy in early stage of ageing. It is because of the formation and growth of solute atom cluster and GPB zones. The maximum hardness and strength of the alloy aged 200℃ is obtained by preaged at 100℃. It is because of fine and dense distribution of S'metastable phase. The hardness and strength are remarkably decreased with sufficient ageing time after preageing at room temperature and 170℃. It is because of the formation and coarsening of S'metastable phase by the preageing.
