This study was conducted to investigate the technical structure of the javelin throwing and to improve the training and coaching. The subjects of this study were six male javelin throwers participated in the 81th national sports competition. The actual javelin event was taken by video camera. The analyzing factors were throwing angle, throwing velocity, throwing height, time, moving displacement of COG, segmental velocity and angle, rotating angle of the trunk. The conclusions were as follows. 1. It was showned that throng height was 85.6±3.9 and javelin was released to adquative degree, Among the athlets, S3 who had the best record was released the javelin with the fastelocity, but throw the javelin with the less releasing degree. 2. the longer distance the athletes record, the shorter time they had. the shorter time the athletes throw javelin, the longer distance they throw javelin. 3. It was showned that the displacement of the C.O.G of the vertical movement was small in phase 1 and large in phase 2, throwing movement. 4. It was showned that the velocity of the upper segment was faster in distal segment, and then athlets who had the best record was fast in upperarm and forearm but trunk.

This study aims to investigate actual conditions of the supply of community facilities of cities in Korea and Japan, by surveying the number of facilities per unit population, and to obtains fundamental data for regional planning in Korea through comparative analysis. Followings are the results of above investigation ; 1) High correlations are found between population and number of facilities. 2) Facilities original unit are classified into four types according to the size of population and population density. 3) In general, facilities original unit and population per unit facilities stand higher level in Japan than in Korea, but some kinds of facilities stand almost the same level.

The purpose of this study is to acquire basic data of relief from interregional gap when planner establishes supplement program of Medical facilities trough relative analysis of Medical facilities in Korea and Japan. The result is this : 1. In Medical level, region exists 1-2 Medical facility is 「Rural form」and region exist more than 3 medical facility is 「Urban form」. 2. We know that Korea medical service level is lower than Japan's. 3. Establish clear-cut lines of Minimum unit of population in Medical facilities. 4. By taking advantage of theoretical Model, result of Analysis present a method of assess medical service facility in relation to population size.

The objective of this paper is to develop two numerical model for predictiong the wave height with set-up/down near the surfzone on a arbitrary beach profile. Two wave models, regular wave model and random wave model, are based on the energy flux equation with the energy dissipation effects. The developed numerical models are verified by comparison of numerical results with analytical solutions that are derived under the simple conditions. The characteristics of parameters included in each model are then investigated and decided to the range of behaviour by the sensitivity analysis. For sensitivity analysis, we carried out total 46 laboratory tests. Finally, the developed numerical models are applied to the field where the wave height near the surfzone has been measured. From the applications fo numerical models, it is concluded that the developed numerical models may accurately predict the wave height with the set-up/down near the surfzone on a arbitrary beach profile.
두경부 편평상피암에서의 MIB-1, p53, bcl-2와 apoptosis의 발현 및 상호 연관성

Objective : Squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck represents approximately 2.0∼4.0% of all malignant tumors, with an etiology closely associated with smoking, drinking and various genetic alterations. The purpose of this study was to investigate the correlation of MIB-1, p53, bcl-2 and apoptosis according to degree of differentitation of squamous cell carcinoma. Methods and Material : forty-eight cases of squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck were selected for this study. MIB-1, p53, bc1-2 expression rate were studied by iromunogistochemical staining and the number of apoptosis observed by TUNEL method. Results : The expressioins of MIB-1, p53, bcl-2 and apoptosis were found in 56.3%, 50.0%, 14.6%, 85.4%, of 48 cases of squamous cell carcinoma, respectively. The expression of MIB-1, p53 and apoptosis were more higher in poorly differentiated cases than well differentiated cases. MIB-1 expression was related with p53 mutation (p<0.05) and apoptosis rate(p<0.05). Conclusion : From these results. the expressions of MIB-1, bcl-2 and apoptosis were related with degree of differentiation of squamous cell carcinoma and correlation among these parameters.

A Gram-negative bacterium was isolated from mushroom media that markedly reduces the level of extracellular toxins (i.e., tolaasins) produced by Pseudomonas tolaasii, the most destructive pathogen of cultivated mushrooms. The HC1 strain was selected as detoxifying tolaasin by bioassay on potato and it was identified Pseudomonas sp. by the cultural, morphological and physiological characteristics, and analysis of the 16S rRNA.. The isolated bacterium is saprophytic but not parasitic nor pathogenic to cultivation mushroom. The isolated bacterium for P. tolaasii cell, was sufficient for detoxification in vitro. Inoculation of the isolated bacterium prevents the development of bacterial disease in Pleurotus ostreatus, Flammunia velutipes and Agaricus bisporus. Control efficacy of brown blotch of strain HC1 treatment was 69, 68 and 55% on Agaricus bisporus, Flammulina velutipes and Pleurotus ostreatus, respectively. The suppressive bacterium may be useful in future for the development of biocontrol system and the construction of genetically modified edible fungi resistant to the disease caused by P. tolaasii.
