한국과 일본 대학생의 스포츠상황에 대한 도덕적 가치판단수준 비교

        함정혜(Chung Hae Hahm) 한국여성체육학회 2013 한국여성체육학회지 Vol.27 No.1

The purpose of this study was to compare the differences of moral reasoning among general students, sports related majors students, and student athletes in Korea and Japan University. We collected total 612 out of 700 (315 from Korea, 297 from Japan) and 88 questionnaires were excluded questionnaire due to incompleteness and unreliable data. For this study, Hahm-Bellar Values Choice Inventory-16(HBVCI-16), which is a Moral Reasoning Questionnaire on Sports Activities, was used. The collected data was analyzed by t-test, one way ANOVA and two way ANOVA with using SPSS Var. 17.0 statistical package program and result were as follow. First, the Japan student`s overall score of moral reasoning were lower compare to Korean university students. Second, there were 1 % higher score of moral reasoning in woman against man and in younger subjects. Sports majored university students presented 1% higher score against other related students and higher grade students presented 5% higher score against lower grade students. Third, among student athletes of Korea and Japan, although there were no significant differences, it was 0.1% higher among those who engaged in individual sports and 5% higher score in those who have less sports career.

A Model for Computer-Aided Process Planning System in Flexible Manufacturing Systems

        Kang, Young-Sig,Hahm, Hyo-Joon,Rim, Suk-Chul,Kim, Seung-Baum The Korean Society for Quality Management 1994 품질경영학회지 Vol.22 No.1

Most of computer-aided process planning(CAPP) systems have been developed to automate the process planning function. In this paper, we describe an analytical model for a CAPP system in order to improve the performance of production system in flexible manufacturing systems(FMSs) for computer intergrated manufacturing(CIM) architecture. This paper proposes an optimal process planning that minimizes the load time by minimizing the cycle time and the number of workstations using Kang and Hahm's heuristic approach so as to improve the performance of production system under the batch production of discrete products. We also perform simulation using SIMAN language to campare the line utilization of each for various product types. The proposed algorithm can be implemented in existing FMSs for on-line control of product quantity using programmable logic controllers(PLC) and communication devices.

      • Comparative Glycopeptide Analysis for Protein Glycosylation by Liquid Chromatography and Tandem Mass Spectrometry: Variation in Glycosylation Patterns of Site-Directed Mutagenized Glycoprotein

Hahm, Young Hye,Hahm, Sung Ho,Jo, Hyoun Young,Ahn, Yeong Hee Hindawi 2018 International journal of analytical chemistry Vol.2018 No.-

<P>Glycosylation is one of the most important posttranslational modifications for proteins, including therapeutic antibodies, and greatly influences protein physiochemical properties. In this study, glycopeptide mapping of a reference and biosimilar recombinant antibodies (rAbs) was performed using liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry (LC-ESI-MS/MS) and an automated Glycoproteome Analyzer (GPA) algorithm. The tandem mass analyses for the reference and biosimilar samples indicate that this approach proves to be highly efficient in reproducing consistent analytical results and discovering the implications of different rAb production methods on glycosylation patterns. Furthermore, the comparative analysis of a mutagenized rAb glycoprotein proved that a single amino acid mutation in the Fc portion of the antibody molecule caused increased variations in glycosylation patterns. These variations were also detected by the mass spectrometry method efficiently. This mapping method, focusing on precise glycopeptide identification and comparison for the identified glycoforms, can be useful in differentiating aberrant glycosylation in biosimilar rAb products.</P>

DEGREE OF APPROXIMATION TO A SMOOTH FUNCTION BY GENERALIZED TRANSLATION NETWORKS

HAHM, NAHMWOO,YANG, MEEHYEA,HONG, BUM IL The Honam Mathematical Society 2005 호남수학학술지 Vol.27 No.2

We obtain the approximation order to a smooth function on a compact subset of $\mathbb{R}$ by generalized translation networks. In our study, the activation function is infinitely many times continuously differentiable function but it does not have special properties around ${\infty}$ and $-{\infty}$ like a sigmoidal activation function. Using the Jackson's Theorem, we get the approximation order. Especially, we obtain the approximation order by a neural network with a fixed threshold.

To Be Or Not To Be A Leader? : A Christian Perspective

Hahm, Jack P. Asian Center for Theological Studies and Mission 1986 ACTS 신학저널 Vol.2 No.-

If a leader wants to be an effective leader in an organization he or she needs to apply effective management techniques. The least the leader can do is to appoint managers who can carry tasks and perform the objectives effectively. Leaders need to understand the value of management methods. It is the art and science of getting work done through other people for effective results. The foregoing presentation has discussed four management functions : planning, organizing, leading, and controlling. In leadership and management the one who applies these function will see many rewarding and effective results. It is common for every organization to have some management problems, but many of the problems can be eliminated by utilizing effective management tools. It is sad to see Christian organizations of their organization. Often we can discover that an organization has poor management just by talking to a receptionist on the telephone or in the front office. An effective organization will have personable, polite, and business-like persons at the front desk. How you feel when you visit an organization and the receptionist asks, "What do you want?" instead of "May I help you?" with a pleasant smile. Even what and how things are said by a receptionist will reflect the quality of management and project the image of that organization to the public. What about the working relationships in a Christian organization? I am sure you have also wondered, "Is this a Christian organization" because of the way certain employees behave or the questionable ethics that you saw among some of the leaders or staff members of a Christian organization. How many times you have failed to receive informations that you were supposed to know and to have responded to, but you did not because it was never communicated to you? As a manager, how many times did you fail to complete a task because it was too late getting back to you from the people to whom you delegated it? How often were you dissatisfied with the quality of the finished product that you delegated to someone to do? How do you know as the manager when certain decisions or policies are introduced in your organization that people receive them properly and understands them clearly? As the leader and manager do you really know how effectively the people in your organization use their time during working hours? Is your understanding of reports from you subordinates compatible with the grapevine communications that you received from people in your organization or are your subordinates lying you? These are some of the questions that leaders or managers should be concerned about. Whoever writes about the subject of management does not have all the answers to the problems of running an organization. However, if executives will attempt to utilize management system components as much as he or she can, the they will see changes toward greater effectiveness. Certainly there is much more to say about the leadership and management of a Christian organization. Due to limitations in space and time, I cannot attack the many problems that a reader may have. I recommend that a serious manager person who is interested in this subject do further research for himself. But whatever your position in an organization, perhaps the words of apostle Paul may encourage all of us: I want to suggest that you finish what you started to do a year ago, for you were not only the first to propose this idea, but the first to begin doing something about it. Having started the ball rolling so enthusiastically, you should carry this project thorough to completion ust as gladly, giving whatever you can out of whatever you have. Let your enthusiastic idea at the start be equalled by your realistic action now.

      • Korea's Financial Crisis and Its Resolution

Hahm, Joon Ho 아태경제학회 1998 학술대회 논문집 Vol.- No.1

The present paper analyzes structural causes of the recent financial crisis in Korea. It also provides a comprehensive overview of the recent financial system restructuring effort. Korea's economic crisis has not been entirely unanticipated. Throughout the 90s, Korea's economic structure has become increasingly vulnerable to exogenous shocks. The structural vulnerability came from two sources-one external and one internal, both of which were in principle, caused by the systemic failure of risk allocating mechanisms. Major terms of trade shocks hit the economy and the collapse of export prices in 1996 and 1997 significantly damaged the corporate sector. A spate of corporate bankruptcies undermined the financial soundness and destabilized the financial market. To make matters worse, the lack of transparency and the government policy mishmash aggravated the situation, all of which being ended up with the financial crisis in Korea. Although there have been substantial progresses under the IMF program, given the imperatives and urgency. the restructuring process of the financial system needs to be considerably accelerated. Delays in the resolution of ailing and insolvent financial institutions and corporate firms are undermining banks' capacity to extend credits. It is necessary to pursue the bank recapitalization program more aggressively. The bankruptcy related laws need to be streamlined, and the corporate debt rescheduling should be based on the autonomous and voluntary decisions of associated financial institutions and firms. The prudential supervisory system also needs to be urgently strengthened. It must be recognized that the more painful and serious the reform is, the faster the Korean economy will be able to return to the normal growth path.

      • Trellis-coded 16-QAM with base station antenna switching in slow Rayleigh fading channel

Hahm, Young Kwon 대한전자공학회 1996 APCCAS:Asia Pacific Conference on Circuits And Sys Vol.1 No.1

The existing coders used in the fading channels are designed under the assumption that the ideal interleaver , which removes the fading correlation of the channel, is used. With the non-ideal interleaver of finite size, however, the performance of the coded modulation system degrades rapidly when the fading is very slow. So author propose a scheme to get inerleaving effects by switching base station antennas in a forward link, without additional software or hardware in small handset. We derive the theoretical upper bound on the pairwise error probability and do computer simulations for BER performance. The results show significant performance improvement in the slow fading and at least no deterioration in the fast fading over the existing systems.

8-Oxoguanine: from oxidative damage to epigenetic and epitranscriptional modification

Hahm Ja Young,Park Jongyeun,Jang Eun-Sook,Chi Sung Wook 생화학분자생물학회 2022 Experimental and molecular medicine Vol.54 No.-

In pathophysiology, reactive oxygen species control diverse cellular phenotypes by oxidizing biomolecules. Among these, the guanine base in nucleic acids is the most vulnerable to producing 8-oxoguanine, which can pair with adenine. Because of this feature, 8-oxoguanine in DNA (8-oxo-dG) induces a G > T (C > A) mutation in cancers, which can be deleterious and thus actively repaired by DNA repair pathways. 8-Oxoguanine in RNA (o8G) causes problems in aberrant quality and translational fidelity, thereby it is subjected to the RNA decay pathway. In addition to oxidative damage, 8-oxo-dG serves as an epigenetic modification that affects transcriptional regulatory elements and other epigenetic modifications. With the ability of o8G•A in base pairing, o8G alters structural and functional RNA–RNA interactions, enabling redirection of posttranscriptional regulation. Here, we address the production, regulation, and function of 8-oxo-dG and o8G under oxidative stress. Primarily, we focus on the epigenetic and epitranscriptional roles of 8-oxoguanine, which highlights the significance of oxidative modification in redox-mediated control of gene expression.
