The Alpha Subunit of Go Interacts with Promyelocytic Leukemia Zinc Finger Protein

Heterotrimeric GTP binding proteins (G proteins) transduce signals of a variety of hormones and neurotransmitters. Go is one of the most abundant G proteins in the brain and classified as the Gi/Go family due to their sequence homology to Gi proteins. While the Gi proteins inhibit adenylyl cyclase and decrease the intracellular cAMP concentration, the functions of Go is not clearly understood despite their sequence homology to Gi. The promeylocytic leukemia zinc finger protein (PLZF) is a DNA binding transcription factor and is expressed highly in central nervous system (CNS). Several studies reported that PLZF may be involved in regulation segmentation/differentiation during CNS development. Here, I report that the alpha subunit of Go (Go ) interacts with PLZF. The interaction between Goa and PLZF was verified by using GST pulldown assay and co-immunoprecipitation. Our findings indicate that Goa could modulate gene expression via interaction with PLZF during neuronal or brain development.

<P>Most sulfonic acid based-membranes come to the limit because of high cost and low performance at low relative humidity (RH). Therefore, we synthesized phosphonic acid functionalized polyaniline (PA-PANI). PANI was used as polymer back bone because of excellent chemical mechanical stability and easy synthesis from relatively cheap monomer, and phosphonic acid presents the relatively high proton conducting in nano-channel without water because of its self dissociation nature. PA-PANI was synthesized by bonding chemically with phosphonic acid groups using 3-bromopropylamine as a reagent. PA-PANI nano-channel membrane showed high and stable conductivities (approximately 0.035 S/cm at 80 to approximately 180 degrees C) under low RH. And PA-PANI nano-channel membranes compared with Nafion (10(-4) S/cm at < 30% RH), have higher proton conductivities. This fact showed phosphonic acid groups were more effective at low RH than sulfonic acid groups. Because the proton conductivity of Nafion decreases considerably at elevated temperature due to dehydration, our low cost membranes using phosphonic acid moiety may be expected to substitute sulfonic acid based-membranes such as Nafion.</P>
A 10-Bit 40-MS/s Pipelined ADC With a Wide Range Operating Temperature for WAVE Applications

<P>A 10-bit 40-MS/s analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that is suitable for wireless access in vehicular environment applications is introduced. In order to satisfy the severe requirement of a wide range operating temperature under the given constraints, the ADC was simplified by eliminating nonessential building blocks such as reference drivers, a sample-and-hold amplifier (SHA), and level shifters. The proposed internal signal amplification method extends the effective signal range in both multiplying digital-to-analog converter and flash ADC, as well as the error correction range. A new clock generation circuit for a SHA-less pipelined ADC removes the need for a higher frequency external clock. The prototype ADC was fabricated in a 180-nm CMOS process. The ADC core consumes 23.4 mW at 3.3-V/1.8-V supplies. The measured worst differential nonlinearity and integral nonlinearity were -0.52/+0.7 LSB and -0.86/ +0.9 LSB, respectively, at a temperature of -40 <SUP>°</SUP> C. The signal-to-noise-and-distortion ratio stayed above 55 dB in the Nyquist condition in a temperature range of -40 <SUP>°</SUP>C-125 <SUP>°</SUP>C, which is about a 0.5 effective-number-of-bits drop from the room-temperature result.</P>

Poly(dimethyl siloxane) (PDMS) membrane solve problems of sulfonic acid-based membrane for high temperature proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs). PDMS was reacted with 3-aminopropyl triethoxysilane (APTES) which bonded with phosphorous groups of phosphorous oxychloride (POCl<SUB>3</SUB>). The proton conductivity showed 0.7S/cm above 130<SUP>o</SUP>C. Through phosphorous groups, membrane may be used as high temperature PEMFCs at low humid conditions.

본 논문은 확률론의 극한 이론 중에서 약 대수의 법칙에 대응하는 퍼지수의 정렬에 관한 극한이론 연구이다. 이미 알려진 퍼지수의 열에 관하여 성립하는 대수의 정리들을 정리하고 이들을 보다 확장된 개념인 T-노름(norm)에 의하여 상호 관련을 가질 때, 보다 일반화된 극한이론이 성립함을 보였다. 또 이 결론은 이미 알려진 내용을 포함하는 사실임을 증명하였다. In this paper, we study a fuzzy number version of weak law of large numbers of random variables in the probability theory. We will overview and generalize the well-known results to the law of large numbers for arrays of mutually T related fuzzy numbers where, T is an Archimedean t-norm.
