Hybrid Copper Complex-Derived Conductive Patterns Printed on Polyimide Substrates
Byoungyoon Lee,Sooncheol Jeong,Yoonhyun Kim,Inbum Jeong,Kyoohee Woo,문주호 대한금속·재료학회 2012 METALS AND MATERIALS International Vol.18 No.3
We synthesized new copper complexes that can be readily converted into highly conductive Cu film. Mechano-chemical milling of copper (I) oxide suspended in formic acid resulted in the submicron-sized Cu formate together Cu nanoparticles. The submicrometer-sized Cu formates are reactive toward inter-particle sinter-ing and metallic Cu seeds present in the Cu complexes assist their decomposition and the nucleation of Cu. The hybrid copper complex film printed on polyimide substrate is decomposed into dense and uni-form Cu layer after annealing at 250°C for 30 min under nitrogen atmosphere. The resulting Cu film exhibited a low resistivity of 8.2 µΩ·cm and good adhesion characteristics.
A low-cure-temperature copper nano ink for highly conductive printed electrodes
Byoungyoon Lee,Yoonhyun Kim,Seungnam Yang,Inbum Jeong,문주호 한국물리학회 2009 Current Applied Physics Vol.9 No.2
We have developed a copper metal-organic-based conductive ink which can be applied to printing and roll-to-roll processes. Metal-organics printed on flexible substrates decompose into highly conductive copper metal when annealed at above 250 ℃. The new nano ink was prepared by mixing copper carboxylate with copper complex nano particles of a mean size below 100 nm. The viscosity of the copper ink was in the range of 104–105 mPa s (at 50 rpm). The resistivity of the conductive film, after annealing under the condition of 3% H2 above 250 ℃ for 20 min, was below 10 μΩ cm and it could be further reduced to 4.4 μΩ cm when annealed at 320 ℃ for 20 min. We successfully demonstrated a printable copper nano ink that proceeds to form highly conductive metal film when annealed at low temperature on flexible substrates. Within five decades, after the devastation of the Korean War, South Korea achieved remarkable economic development and successfully minimized absolute poverty levels, putting it now on a par with the world’s leading economic countries. Many studies have been conducted to identify the roots of South Korea’s success story, and several attempts have been made to adopt this approach in other developing countries. This paper focuses on South Korea’s human capital accumulation, which enabled the adoption of various economic development plans to eradicate extreme poverty. This is illustrated by comparing it with Chad’s current situation - and considers other regions currently under development.
Vascular plants of Poaceae (II) new to Korea: Holcus mollis L. and Aira elegantissima Schur
Cho, Yanghoon,Kim, Jonghwan,Lee, Byoungyoon The National Institute of Biological Resources 2017 Journal of species research Vol.6 No.2
Recent herbarium reexamination and field studies yielded two monocotyledonous plant taxa of the family Poaceae that could be documented in the national inventory list of species of Korea. These species, collected from Jeollabuk-do and Gyeongsangnam-do, were introduced and naturalized in Korea. Two species were identified as Holcus mollis L. and Aira elegantissima Schur. We provided the descriptions and descriptive photos of these species. Keys to the newly recorded species and related taxa were also provided.
