An experimental study has been carried out on natural convection in the annulus between horizontal non-circular cylinders. A Mach-Zehnder interferometer was used to determine temperature distributions and local heat-transfer coefficients. Results were obtained using air at atmospheric pressure with a diameter ratio D_(o)/D_(i)=2.6, and aspect ratio H/D_(i)=0.6 in range of Rayleigh number from 0.45×10⁴ to 1.98×10⁴, Comparisons between the existing numerical and present experimental results show good agreement.

이 연구의 의도는 국내 환대산업에서의 CSR의 역할과 중요성을 경험적으로 접근하고자 하였다. 이 연구에서 적용된 연구방법은 경험적 접근방법으로 국내외 선행연구들을 바탕으로 이들의 연구를 공통된 견해를 중심으로 통합하고 결론을 도출하여 시사점을 제시하는 것을 목표로 하였다. 연구결과 CSR을 훌륭하게 수행하는 기업은 소비자관점에서 기업이미지와 브랜드이미지 제고는 물론 소비자인식과 소비자신뢰의 향상을 가져와 긍극적으로 구매의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 이 결과는 기업의 수익성제고와 주주가치 창출 및 투자자 이익에 기여할 수 있다는 시사점을 얻었다. 또한 종사원관점에서 종사원인식과 조직신뢰 및 조직몰입을 통해 조직을 동일시하고, 직무만족과 직무몰입은 통해 고객만족을 창출할 수 있음을 시사하는 것으로 나타났다.

In this study, design CDFG format in hardware design environment. It is used for high level synthesis in hardware design environment and supported in VHDL(VHSIC(Very High Speed Integrated Circuit) Hardware Description Language) Design Environment. This CDFG supports most of characteristic in hardware description language, concurrency, sequence, hierarchy etc. It is designed in consideration of VHDL, C, PASCAL, HardwareC. First, design CDFG and describe description rule then represent example of translation and grammar for CDFG paser.

To compensate phase shift caused by the electronics, the distance meter employs two optical paths, generated by splitting the laser beam into an internal fixed path and a variable distance external path. Because of the perturbations of the atmospheric index of refraction, the amplitude of the external path signal may vary greatly It is necessary to equalize the internal path amplitude with the external path amplitude to subtract the common phase shift In this study, the optical AGC circuit is developed by means of a motor-driven variable-density attenuator.

We constructed an optical distance meter using intensity modulated laser beam It is based on the measurement of the phase difference between the transmitted and the reflected beam. The diode laser beam is modulated at one of two frequences, 15MHz or 150KHz. These frequencies have effective modulation wavelengths of 10m and 1000m, respectively. It has the ability to measure the distance within one kilometer with several centimeter resolution

The metabolic profiles of Panax quinquefolius and its associated therapeutic values are critically affected by the repetitious steaming times. The times-dependent steaming effect of P. quinquefolius is not well-characterized and there is also no official guidelilne on its times of steaming, In this paper, a UPLC-Q-TOF-MS/MS method was developed for the qualitative profiling of multi-parametric metabolic changes of raw P. quinquefolius durilng the repetitious steaming process. Our method was successful in discriminating the differentially multi-steamed herbs. Meantime, the repetitious steaming-inducing chemical transformations in the preparation of black American ginseng (American ginseng that was subjected to 9 cycles of steaming treatment) were evaluated by this UPLC-Q-TOF-MS/MS based chemical profiling method. Under the optimized UPLC-Q-TOF-MS/MS conditions, 29 major ginsenosides were unambiguously identified and/or tentatively assigned in both raw and multi-steamed P. quinquefolius within 19 min, among them 18 ginsenosides were detected to bo newly generated during the preparatory process of black American ginseng. The mechanisms involved were further deduced to be hydrolysis, dehydration, decarboxylation and addition reactions of the original ginsenosiders in raw P. quinquefolius through analyzing 9 cycles of steaming extracts of 14 pure reference ginsenosides. Our novel steaming times-dependent metabolic profiling represents the paradigm shift in the global quality control of multi-steamed P. quinquefolius products.
Optimum Simple Step-Stress Accelerated Life Tests Under Periodic Observation

This paper presents optimum simple step-stress accelerated life test plans for the case where the test process is observed periodically at intervals of the same length. Two types of failure data, periodically observed complete data and periodically observed censored data, are considered. An exponential life distribution with a mean that is a log-linear function of stress, and a cumulative exposure model for the effect of changing stress are assumed. For each type of data, the optimum test plan which minimizes the asymptotic variance of the maximum likelihood estimator of the mean life at a design stress is obtained and its behaviors are studied.
