전이학습기반 앙상블 딥러닝을 이용한 COVID-19 환자 영상 분류

COVID-19 팬데믹으로 인한 피해는 공중 보건적 측면 뿐 만 아니라 정치, 경제, 사회, 문화 전반에 심각한 영향을 미치고 있다. 현재까지 COVID-19 표준 진단검사인 RT-PCR 검사는 검체의 종류, 검체 채취 방법 및 보관에 따라 검사 결과가 달라질 수 있고 코로나바이러스 (SARS-CoV-2) 감염 후 검사 시점에도 영향을 받는다. 본 논문은 전이학습 (transfer learning) 기반 앙상블 딥러닝을 사용하여 COVID-19 환자 X-ray/CT 영상을 분류하고자 한다. 여기서 사용된 전이학습은 CNN (convolutional neural network) 기반인 AlexNet, ResNet, Inception V3, DenseNet 모형이다. 본 연구에서 제안한 스태킹 앙상블 (stacking ensemble) 모형은 세 단계에 걸쳐 이루어진다. 첫 번째 단계에서는 기본모형 (base model)로서 여러 전이학습 모형을 이용하여 예측된 결과들을 얻고, 두 번째 단계에서는 concatenate layer를 통해 이들 결과들을 결합한 다음, 세 번째 단계에서는 메타모형(meta model), 여기서는 DNN (deep neural network) 모형을 적용하여 최종 분류한다. 본 논문에서 제안된 앙상블 모형의 성능평가를 위해 3가지 실제 COVID-19 환자의 X-ray/CT 영상데이터셋을 고려하였으며 여러 가지 성능평가 지표를 가지고 기존의 전이학습 모형과 앙상블 모형과 비교 분석하였다. 성능실험결과, 전반적으로 제안된 앙상블 모형이 기존의 전이학습 모형과 앙상블 모형보다 우수함을 보였다. The damage caused by the COVID-19 pandemic has a serious impact not only on public health but also on politics, economy, society, and culture as a whole. To date, the RT-PCR test, a COVID-19 standard diagnostic test, may vary depending on the type of sample, sample collection method, and storage, and is also affected by the time of the test after infection with COVID-19. This paper attempts to classify COVID-19 patients with X-ray/CT images using transfer learning-based ensemble deep learning. The transfer learning used here is the AlexNet, ResNet, Inception V3, and DenseNet models based on the convolutional neural network (CNN). The stacking ensemble model proposed in this study takes place over three stages. In the first step, predicted results are obtained using several transfer learning models, in the second step, they are combined through a concatenate layer, and in the third step, a deep neural network (DNN) model is applied and finally classified. For the performance evaluation of the ensemble model proposed in this paper, three actual COVID-19 X-ray/CT image datasets were considered, and various performance evaluation indicators were compared and analyzed with the transfer learning model and the existing ensemble model. As a result of the performance experiment, the overall proposed ensemble model was superior to the transfer learning model and the existing ensemble model.

Syringoid eccrine carcinoma (SEC) is a rare cutaneous malignant tumor thought to be derived from eccrine sweat glands. It is usually present in the scalp and face and often occurs in the fourth to seventh decades of life. A 76-year-old female patient visited our department with a 3-year history of a lesion showing a 5×4 cm-sized erythematous firm plaque with ulceration on her right shoulder. Histological findings revealed a tumor consisting of numerous proliferating tubular structures with two layers of basaloid cells with cellular atypia. Some ductal structures showed a tadpole appearance. Based on these findings, the final diagnosis was SEC. The patient was treated with slow Mohs micrographic surgery and a full-thickness skin graft and did not show any recurrence during the follow-up period of 6 months. Herein, we report a very rare case of a 76-year-old woman diagnosed with SEC that developed on the right shoulder. (Korean J Dermatol 2021;59(2):136∼139)
게르마늄 농도를 증가 시킨 동충하초 균사체 열수 추출액의 항암효과

게르마늄(Ge)은 거의 대부분의 영양분, 동물, 식물에서 발견되는 미량원소로 많은 연구를 통해 항균성 항바이러스성 항종양성 항돌연변이성 및 면역조절 효과를 지닌 것으로 알려져 있다. 또한, 동충하초는 중국의 전통적인 약용 버섯으로 항종양성, 항산화성 및 면역조절 효과 등 다양한 생물학적 활성을 지니고 있으며 미량원소를 축적시키기 효과적인 것으로 알려져 있다. 이런 특성을 이용하여 본 연구는 게르마늄 농도를 증가시킨 동충하초(CMGe)의 열수 추출액을 얻어내고 그 생물학적 특성을 실험하였다. 네 가지 암세포주 Ramos, A549, HepG2, CEM와 MSC에 대한 CMGe의 세포독성을 MTT assay를 통해 확인한결과, CEM에서 항증식성이 가장 높고 MSC에 대한 세포독성은 낮은 것으로 확인되었다. 마지막으로 누드마우스에 인간 신경아교세포종(U87MG)을 이종이식하여 종양의 부피와 무게를 조사한 결과, CMGe열수 추출액 처리군에서 종양 부피와 무게의 감소를 확인할 수 있었다. 이런 결과는 CMGe가 앞으로 의약 및 제약산업에 다양하게 적용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. Cordyceps militaris has been used in traditional Chinese medicine owing to its anticancer and immunomodulatory activities. Germanium compounds have also been shown to be associated with many pharmacological functions, such as antimicrobial, antiviral, antitumor, antimutagenic, and immunomodulating effects. In this study, we examined the biological properties of hot water extract from mycelial liquid culture of germanium-enriched C. militaris (CMGe). CMGe displayed a concentration-dependent antiproliferation activity against four human cancer cell lines. The antiproliferative activity of CMGe was 2-4-fold lower than that of hot water extract from mycelial liquid culture in C. militaris (CM). However, CM had a concentration-dependent cytotoxicity to human bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs). Contrastingly, CMGe did not cause any cellular damage to MSCs. MSCs cultured with CMGe displayed an increased proliferative activity with no cytotoxic effect. The oral administration of CMGe inhibited increased tumor volume and weight compared with the control group. CMGe has the potential to be used as an industrial product in medicinal foods as well as in pharmaceutical products.

The purpose of this study was to provide basic data for a more functional torso's pattern by analyzing multidimensional anthropometric measurements and the wearing condition. For the functional torso's pattern drafting, the fitness state of basic torso's patterns(4 types) was compared and evaluated from the cross-sectioned overlap maps by $moir{\acute{e}}$ topography. The results were as follows: 1. According to the measurements of four patterns by using the one-dimensional measurement, the amount of ease in girth item for pattern A was the smallest. The ease of clothes was affected by the position of dart, the amount of dart, and the drafting method. 2. As the results of wearing evaluation by $moir{\acute{e}}$ topography method, pattern B had the largest space length for hip part, pattern A, C and D had the largest space length for bust part. Also, in the all measurement items, pattern A had the smallest amount of ease. The space length for bust and waist part of pattern B was smaller than pattern D, but, for abdomen and hip part of pattern B was larger than pattern D. The space length of pattern C was revealed intermediate for all measurement part. 3. The significant difference of space length of each pattern was shown in all parts except bust part(p<.05). The amount of space was affected by the amount of dart, the characteristics of the somatotype, and the drafting method.
