        예이츠의 무운시 율격 연구

        예이츠는 전통적 시 형식을 고수하였다. 그럼에도 불구하고 무운시의 형식은 다른 형식에 비해 드물게 사용하였다. 그의 초기와 중후기의 대표적인 무운시를 통해 무운시의 율격과 그 다양한 변용의 양태를 살펴보고 시의 내용과 주제에 미치는 효과를 알아보고자 한다. Yeats rarely wrote free verse, which was new and very popular in the early 1900s. He used various traditional rhymed verse, but interestingly he wrote not so many blank verse in view of the considerable number of his poems. In this article, first, Yeats’s idea about blank verse is examined based on his essays and letters, and then the characteristic aspects of poetic diction, syntax, tone and regular and irregular meters in alternate lines of his blank verse are studied in such poems as “Ephemera,” “Ego Dominus Tuus,” “In the Seven Woods,” and “The Second Coming.”

        성인학습자의 자기주도학습이 진로적응성에 미치는 영향: 진로결정 자기효능감의 매개효과를 중심으로

        Objectives This study is to verify the mediating effect of career decision self-efficacy in the relationship between the influence of adult learners' self-directed learning on career adaptability. Methods For this purpose, 413 adult learners were selected as study subjects, and the data were analyzed using the SPSS 25 statistical program. Descriptive statistical analysis was conducted to identify the general characteristics and normality of the collected data, and reliability analysis and exploratory factor analysis were conducted to determine reliability and validity. In addition, a correlation analysis was performed to identify the correlation between major variables, and a regression analysis was conducted to verify the mediating effect of self-efficacy in career decision-making in the relationship between the effects of self-directed learning on career adaptability. Results First, the cognitive domain, affective domain, and behavioral domain, which are the sub-factors of adult learners' self-directed learning, had a significant effect on career adaptability. Second, the cognitive domain, affective domain, and behavioral domain, which are the sub-factors of adult learners' self-directed learning, showed a statistically significant level in career decision self-efficacy. Third, the verification of the mediating effect of self-efficacy in career decision-making was significant in the relationship between cognitive domain, affective domain, and behavioral domain, which are the sub-factors of adult learners' self-directed learning, on career adaptability. Conclusions Based on this, self-directed learning and career decision-making self-efficacy should be promoted in order to increase career adaptability of adult learners. Through this, it is intended to provide implications and basic data for lifelong education of adult learners.

        텍스트마이닝과 네트워크 분석을 활용한 예이츠(W. B. Yeats) 연구 동향 분석 : KCI 바탕으로

        이 연구는 W. B. 예이츠에 대한 연구 동향을 살펴보고 그에 대한 연구 방향을 설정하는데 필요한 정보를 제공하는 데 목적이 있다. 2021년 8월 KCI에서 ‘yeats’를 키워드로 910편의 논문이 검색되었고 최종 854개 논문의 제목을 연구대상으로 선정하였다. Excel, TEXTOM 및 UCINET/NetDraw 프로그램을 활용하여 분석을 실시하였으며 예이츠 관련 연구의 연도별 및 학술지별 게재 현황, 예이츠 관련 연구의 주요 키워드, 주요 키워드 간의 연결중심성과 네트워크 분석을 시행하였다. This study was to identify the research trend on W. B. Yeats and provide information necessary to establish the research direction on him. In August 2021, 910 journal papers were collected with the keyword “Yeats” from KCI. Final 854 titles of the journal papers were selected as targeted data and analyzed through Excel, TEXTOM, and UCINET/NetDraw program. Through this analysis, the publication status of Yeats-related researches by year and journal, main keywords of Yeats-related researches, and degree centrality between major keywords were investigated.

      • 시판우유 및 조제분유의 화학적 성분에 관한 연구

        The study was analyzed to testify the excellency among commercial milk and infant formula. In view of these facts, it is of importance comparing chemical compositions. 5 commercial milk and 3 infant formula were purchased in supermarket. 1.Total nucleic acid concentration in commercial milk and infant formula were 1.43W /V% and 2.62W/V%, respectively. 2.Total free sugar concentration in commercial milk(6. 32W. V%) and infant formula (11.68W/V%). 3.Total amino acid concentration was 2. 86% in commercial milk, and 11. 20% in infant formula. 4.In fatty acids, especially DHA in commercial milk was not detected. 5.Major mineral and trace metal analyzed by ICP after wet digestion. The elements examined in the samples were Ca, Mg, K, P, Na in major mineral and Cr, Mn, Fe, Ni, Cu, Zn, As, Cd, Pb in trace metal. In the most of trace metal, infant formula was higher than commercial milk. Cd and Pb were not detected.

      • 영어 자동쓰기평가(AWE) 사용만족도가 자기효능감을 매개로 학업성취감에 미치는 영향: PLS-SEM 모델 분석

        이 연구의 목적은 영어쓰기 교과목에서 자동쓰기평가(AWE) 프로그램의 사용자 만족도가 영어쓰기 자기효능감을 매개로 학습자의 학습성취감에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위한 것이다. AWE는 쓰기 결과물에 대해 인공지능 기술에 의해 자동으로 피드백을 제공하는 프로그램이다. 영어쓰기 교과목을 수강하는 대학생을 대상으로 각 주제별로 작문을 하고 AWE 프로그램을 사용하여 피드백을 받은 후 그것을 참고하여 최종 수정본을 제출하도록 하였다. 설문지를 통해 수집된 데이터(n=99)를 SPSS, Smart PLS-SEM으로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, AWE의 사용 편의성과 유용성은 재사용 의지에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, AWE 사용 만족도는 영어쓰기 자기효능감에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 영어쓰기 자기효능감은 언어적, 정서적 측면에서 학업 성취감에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 4차 산업 및 인공지능 기술 발달에 따라 영어교육에 AWE와 같은 새로운 학습재료 도입을 권장한다. The purpose of this study is to identify the influence of users' satisfaction with the Automatic Writing Evaluation(AWE) on learners' sense of learning achievement through self efficacy in English writing class. AWE is a tool that automatically provides feedback on writing outputs by AI technology. College students were asked to write essays for each topic and use AWE to get feedback on their drafts, and finally revise them referring to the feedback. A questionnaire survey was conducted for the data collection. The data was analyzed using SPSS, and smart PLS-SEM along with bootstrapping techniques, The results of the study reveal the followings: 1) the convenience and usefulness of AWE had a positive effect on the willingness to reuse it; 2) the satisfaction with AWE had a positive effect on self-efficacy; 3) self-efficacy had a positive effect on learning achievement in terms of emotional and linguistic aspects. With the development of the 4th industry and A.I. technology, it is recommended to introduce new materials or programs such as AWE in English education.

        영어학습과 다문화 수용성에 관한 연구: 대학생 중심

        The objective of this study is to investigate the relationship between English education and multicultural acceptability. This study was conducted with 102 first year college students through a survey and the data were analyzed through T-test, Cross-Analysis, and Correlation Analysis. The findings of the study were as follows: 1) Students who have higher scores in English have higher multicultural acceptability; 2) Students who believe that English text books(elemantary, junior high, and high schools) provide opportunities to accept multiculturalism have higher multicultural acceptability than those who do not; 3) Students who respond that English education provides opportunities to accept multiculturalism have higher multicultural acceptability than those who do not; and 4) Relationship between multicultural acceptability and treatability shows statistic correlation. In conclusion, even though there has been constant criticism about the biased and uniformed multicultural contents and background of English text books, the results of the study show that students have developed an attitude to understand and accept multiculturalism through school English text books and English learning. Thus, considering the fact that English education is one factor affecting multicultural acceptability, constant support and more research on curriculum development and teaching are.

        TED강연 활용 대학영어수업에서 콘텐츠가 수업만족도에 미치는 영향—흥미와 학업성취감 매개

        The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of content on learning satisfaction in college English classes using TED Talks. To achieve this purpose, at the end of the semester, questionnaire responses consisting of four items: content satisfaction, learning satisfaction, perception of academic achievement, and interest in class were collected from 64 students. The SmartPLS 3 program was used for data analysis. This study first found that content satisfaction had a positive effect on interest. Second, content satisfaction had a positive effect on learning satisfaction. Third, contents satisfaction had a positive effect on academic achievement. Fourth, interest had a positive effect on academic achievement. Fifth, interest did not affect learning satisfaction. Sixth, academic achievement had a positive effect on learning satisfaction. Additionally, it was found that academic achievement played a mediating role in the effect of content satisfaction on learning satisfaction. In conclusion, when designing college English courses, it is important to carefully consider the content because learners’ satisfaction with the material has a significant impact on their interest in class, academic achievement, and overall satisfaction with a course. Lastly, the future direction of content for college English courses is discussed based on the results.

        한국 대학생의 영어학습 앱 현황과 수요 분석

        (Purpose) The purpose of this study is to understand the college students' preferences in mobile applications for learning English. (Design/methodology/approach) The survey was conducted with 30 college students on the 13th week of the spring semester of 2020, which was conducted online. The questionnaire consists of questions related to English skills they prefer to learn through apps and app functions they need when using. 67 applications, which are for the youth and adults and have downloaded more than 1,000,000, were investigated to find out their functions and contents. (Findings) Among 67 English education applications, conversation, various skills, grammar, vocabulary, game/quiz, and reading was frequent in order and in terms of functions, voice recognition, AI, audio, text, video, realtime chatting, and AR was frequent in order. As a result of the analysis of the survey, respondents preferred to study conversation, test preparation, vocabulary, translation, grammar, pronunciation, dictionary, and realtime chatting through apps. The result of the study also show that they preferred video, voice recognition, text, AI, audio, VR, and AR in terms of functions. (Research implications or Originality) Therefore, the findings of this research suggest that more applications for English learning need to be developed, and more various functions be introduce.

        영화를 활용한 영시 수업 연구

        This study exemplifies an English poetry class using movies where well-known poems are recited. It also investigates how the learners perceive the interests and effects of learning English poetry and English expressions through the class. The subjects were 31 college students who participated in this class as a liberal arts elective course. The class was implemented for a total of 12 weeks, and used six movies including Interstellar (Nolan, 2014), Dead Poets Society (Weir, 1989), A River Runs Through It (Redford, 1992), A.I. (Spielberg, 2001), In Her Shoes (Hanson, 2014), and Sylvia (Jeffs, 2013). The results of the survey conducted after the lessons showed that the learners had a positive attitude toward the class in terms of interests and effects of using movies in an English poetry class. Meanwhile the results also showed that students wanted to learn more deeply and intensively with fewer movies instead of six movies, which was too much for them. Therefore, the results of this study imply that two or three movies could be appropriate for one semester. Overall, as a result of an analysis of the survey, it was found that using movies helps learners enjoy the poems more and allows them to attain a deeper understanding of them, so it appears to be an effective method for an English poetry class. .

        교양영어 교과목으로서 영어 프레젠테이션 수업 연구

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the needs of college learners for English presentation classes as a general English education course, and to investigate the effects of the learners' anxiety over English presentations, and interest and self-confidence in English presentations. For this purpose, twenty-seven college students were surveyed before and after class. During the classes, the learners practiced writing their own manuscripts, and presenting them in English in front of their members of the small group. In mid-term and final exams, learners gave English presentations in front of the whole class. Descriptive statistics and t-test were implemented using SPSS 23. The results of the analysis were as follows: First college learners recognize that they are highly demanded for English presentation classes as liberal arts curriculum. Second, the anxiety about the English speaking ability was reduced through the classes. Third, their self-confidence in English presentation was improved. Therefore, it may be the significance of this study to identify that English presentation class should be regarded as college general education curriculum. 본 연구는 대학 교양영어 교과목으로서의 영어 프레젠테이션 수업에 대한 요구도 조사와 이 수업을 통하여 학습자의 영어 발표에 대한 불안극복, 흥미도, 자신감에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위한 것이다. 이를 위하여 대학생 27명을 대상으로 수업 전후에 설문응답을 수집하였다. 수업시간 중 학습자들은 직접 발표 원고를 작성하고 동료들 앞에서 발표하는 연습을 하였고 중간고사와 기말고사에서 전체 학급 앞에서 영어프레젠테이션을 실시하였다. SPSS 23을 이용하여 기술적 통계 및 t-test를 실시하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학생들은 영어프레젠테이션 수업에 대한 요구도가 높고, 둘째, 이 수업을 통하여 영어구사력에 대한 불안감이 감소되었고, 셋째, 영어 프레젠테이션에 대한 자신감이 향상되었음을 알 수 있었다. 그래서 영어프레젠테이션 수업을 교양영어 필수 교과목으로 고려해 볼 것을 제안해보고자 한다.
