      • 선형계획법을 가족자원관리모델에 활용하는 방안에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this research was to introduce the method on the utilization of linear programming into the model of family resource management. Although various problems to set up mathematical model for family resource management can be considered, there are many family resource decision situations to which mathematical models may be fruitfully applied. Within this context, this research provided several examples chosen to represent a few family decision-making situations which lend themselves to mathematical analysis. For this purpose, linear programming which is a mathematical procedure for determinig optimal allocation of scarce resources was utilized. This exercise provided useful experience in applying managerial concepts of fmaily resource amangement model in practical situation and an interactive framework that facilitates discussions of linear porgramming, family resource management behavior, and mathematical application.

        식품안전 소비자교육 프로그램의 방향과 사례 프로그램 제작 연구

        The goal of educating consumers regarding food safety is to increase consumer competency in food safety. In order to recognize consumer problems and to develop consumer competency in rapidly changing consumer environment, it is necessary to cultivate consumer knowledge, attitude, and ability on food safety required in performing the consumer role effectively. Within this context, it is necessary to develop consumer-oriented education programs which aim to change consumer values and behaviors with regard to food safety. Based on information obtained from focus group interviews, the need for educational programs for food safety, which are related to the whole process of food consumption, have been raised. The process of food consumption is divided into buying, cooking/eating, and after eating, based on the process of consumer decision making and consumer behavior. Scenarios for consumer education on food safety were developed depending on the process of food consumption. This study developed a pilot consumer education program which included the whole process of food consumption. The program of this study was designed to induce consumers to change their behavior through establishing values on food safety and may contribute to lay the foundation for the realization of food safety culture. The results will be utilized to provide future directions for consumer education programs and efficient educational materials on food safety. Finally, it is hoped that empirical evaluation and analysis on the effects of consumer education programs will be investigated in future studies.

        기혼여성의 취업과 시간절약서비스 지출에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this research was to investigate the impact of the married women`s employment on household expenditures for time-saving services based on the review of the household production approach to consumer demand by Becker. The data was collected with a questionnaire in 1997 and the sample of this study consisted of 397 married women which was selected from Seoul and metropolitan area considering age and work status. The review of literature in this research suggested that the expenditures of time saving services were specified as a function of labor income, nonlabor income, hours of market work of the homemaker, the education and the age of homemaker, household size, household composition and homeownership. The empirical specification was measured by tobit and a simultaneous system was adopted by using hours of homemaker`s market work as an instrumental variable. Most of these variables showed signifiacnt effects on the expenditures for time-saving services although there were differences across the models. In addition, total market response is more likely to be explained by the entry and exit of households into the time-saving services market, than by the extent to which households use such services.

        Many housing studies and education programs in Korea have focused on design, planning, and construction. Houses and nearby environments are a large portion of the total assets each household possesses. However, effective and efficient housing management of housing assets has been relatively neglected. Facility management can be defined as the practice of coordinating the physical environment with the people and process (work of the organization). The purpose of this study is to figure out the construct of courses of Housing majors in the College of Human Ecology in Korea and investigate facilities management programs and courses provided in the U.S. to explore the possibility of merging facility management perspectives and educational programs into housing studies. Many courses provided in facility management programs have human ecology perspectives in terms of a multidisciplinary approach, life cycle commitment, and various stakeholders building physical, social, and ecological milieu. By merging and supplementing the existing curricula of housing and consumer studies, facility nanagement programs and courses could be a possible alternative to specialized housing education programs.

        식품 정보제공 사이트 분석을 통한 소비자 지향적 식품안전 정보제공에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 국내외 식품안전 정보 제공 사이트의 현황을 조사하고, 정보제공 컨텐츠들이 소비자의 식품 안전 정보 요구에 맞게 제작되었는지를 파악한다. 이를 통해 소비자의 눈높이를 반영한 식품안전정보제공의 틀을 제시하는데 필요한 기본 정보를 제공하고자 한다. 식품안전 정보관련 한국어권 24개 사이트와 영어권 해외 사이트 18개 일어권 사이트 5개 등 총 47개의 정보 사이트를 비교분석한 결과, 영어권, 일어권의 관련 사이트들이 일상생활에 필요한 실제적인 정보의 제공 및 정보의 적합성과 피드백 시스템의 활용 측면에서 우수한 것으로 평가되었으나 사이트 연결성의 측면에서는 취약하였다. 한편 한국어권 사이트들은 통합정보 및 정보제공의 다양성, 정보의 출처 및 신뢰성, 피드백 시스템의 활용과 정보의 관리 측면에서 취약한 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 이동의 편의성, 사이트 맵 제공은 한국어권 식품 관련 사이트가 비교적 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 소비자 리스크 커뮤니케이션을 위한 식품안전 정보 제공 사이트의 개선을 위해서는 식품안전 정보의 종합적 구성과 통합, 전문정보와 일반 소비자 정보의 구분, 다양한 방식의 정보제공, Q&A의 활성화 및 지속적인 관리와 함께 소비자가 원하는 개별 식품에 대한 총체적인 정보제공이 요구된다. This study is to investigate the current state of internet websites on food safety in Korea and overseas and to understand what consumers are concerned about in the area of food safety. Through this effort, the purpose of this study is to develop and provide the information content which is easy for average consumers to understand and which meets the needs of consumers. 24 Korean internet websites and 23 foreign websites (18 in English and 5 in Japanese language) providing food safety related information were examined. Based on the study results, foreign websites provide practical information that can be readily applied to daily life. They usually utilize feedback system by using features such as email and Q&A. They provide information tailored to target consumers and also update their sites with new information frequently. They do not link well with other websites. However. Korean websites, on the other hand, lack integrated information as well as they do not provide a variety of information. The sources of information are often unclear so they lack the credibility of the information. The feedback features like Q&A exist but they are rarely utilized. They are not often updated. However, the link among different websites and the provision of sites map were pretty good. For effective consumer risk communication, it is important to provide an integrated overall information system that is easy for average consumers to understand based on the classification of information system on food safety. Information in the website should be practical and readily applicable to daily life. It should be also a fun place for consumers to visit. It is essential to provide an opportunity to interact in both ways utilizing Q&A and email features. It is recommended to provide information tailored to target consumers and also update their sites with new information frequently.
