윤하중에 의한 강바닥판 교면포장의 종방향균열 관련 수치해석법 개발

두께가 얇아짐에 따라 강바닥판은 윤하중의 작용으로 국부적으로 매우 큰 변형이 발생하고, 이것은 교면포장에 종방향으로 구조적인 균열을 야기 시킬 수 있다. 이 연구에서는 강바닥판의 윤하중 국부해석을 위하여 가로보의 휨 및 비틀림강성을 엄밀히 고려할 수 있는 평면쉘 스트립요소, 프리즘요소, 그리고 이 두요소를 연결하는 링크요소로 구성된 개선된 유한대판법을 제시하고자 한다. 이 방법의 효용성을 검증하기 위하여, 강판 플레이트 거더교의 일부를 해석예제로 선택하여 연직처짐 및 교축직각방향 변형율 결과를 쉘요소, 솔리드요소, 그리고 코히시브요소를 이용한 ABAQUS 해석결과와 비교, 검토하였다. Longitudinally structural cracks are sometimes observed in the pavement on steel plate deck bridges because traffic truck loadings can cause large local deformations of the thin deck plate stiffened by longitudinal and transverse beams. In this study, an improved finite strip method using flat-shell strip, prism, and link elements is presented to investigate local deformations of steel decks with pavements in which flexural and torsional stiffness effects of thin floor beams are rigorously taken into account. A simplified deck model extracted from steel plate-girder bridges is analyzed using the developed FSM and the commercial FE program, ABAQUS and also, their numerical results are compared and discussed.

The worn crater wear geometry of coated tools after machining has been configured by using Confocal Laser Scanning Microscopy(CLSM) and the Wavelet-based filtering technique. The CLSM can be well suited to construct the three-dimensional crater wear on the rake surfaces of coated tips. However, The raw heightness data of HEI(height encoded image) acquired by CLSM must be filtered due to the electronic and imaging noise occurring in constructing the crater image. So the Wavelet-based filtering algorithm is necessary to denoise the shape features in a micro scales so as to realize accurate crater wear topography analysis. The crater wear patterns filtered enable us to predict the crater wear shape in order to study the tool wear evolution. The study shows that the technique by combining the CLSM and Wavelet-based filtering is an excellent one to obtain the geometries of worn tool rake surfaces over a wide range of surface resolution in a micro scale.

It was reported that the etiologies of recurrent spontaneous abortion are immunologic factors, endocrinologic problems, anatomical abnormalities, genetic abnormalities, infection, and unexplained factors. Among those etiologic factors, genetic abnormalities occur in about 5% of the couples who experience recurrent spontaneous abortions, and most common parental chromosomal abnormality contributing to recurrent abortion is balanced translocation. The advent of in vitro fertilization (IVF), the development of skills associated with the handling of human embryo, and an explosion of knowledge in molecular biology have opened the possibility of early diagnosis of genetic disease in preimplantation embryos. Therefore preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) is indicated for couples, infertile or not, at risk of transmitting a genetic disease. A case of successful pregnancy and term delivery by PGD using fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) technique in patient with recurrent spontaneous abortion due to balanced translocation is presented with brief review of literatures.

This paper aims to research reader`s role and communication modes in interpreting novel. To achieve this, this paper analyses Cho Se-Hee`s ≪A Small Ball a Dwarf Fired≫ and it`s interpretive texts. First of all, I examine narrative theories on readers and get suggestions for this study. According to these, I suggest four roles of the actual reader in interpreting novel and researched communication mode in each role, to put it concretely, narrative reader is a role which the actual reader experiences a fictional world based on narration of the narrator on the position of the narratee, authorial reader is a role which the actual reader infers and evaluates ways and values of the implied author on the position of the implied reader, intertextual reader is a role which the actual reader communicates with the career author by extending inference about the implied author based on successive readings, and communal reader is a role which the actual reader communicates deeply with the implied author by the negotiation of meaning in the interpretive community.

Recently, several researches indicated the relationship between oral condition and respiratory disease such as pneumonia and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Respiratory disease is known as common chronic disease in the elderly increasing mortality and morbidity. In this study, we have reviewed the association between oral disease and respiratory disease in the elderly. The related data were searched and collected from abroad and domestic studies. The studies included the randomized controlled clinical trials (RCTs), longitudinal, cohort, case-control, and systematic review studies. With the data from the studies, we concluded that poor oral hygiene or periodontal disease can influence the pneumonia in the elderly. Further studies will be needed to investigate the association between oral disease and COPD.
