        수중운동프로그램 참여가 슬관절 환자의 정적균형, ROM, 등속성 근기능 및 관절기능상태에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to find the effects of aquatic exercise on static balance, ROM, isokinetic muscular function and function status of knee joint in knee osteoarthritis patient’s. Subjects of this study were 18 women(10 of aquatic exercise group(AEG), 8 of control group(CG)) who were diagnosed as knee osteoarthritis, the AEG were provided th aquatic exercise for 60 minutes of 2times in a week for 8weeks, and CG maintained the daily life without special physical activity. The results were as follows: 1) There were significantly different of static balance with sway speed(t=2.660, p=0.12) and there were differences of sway path(F=8.225, p=.012) and sway speed(F=8.156, p=0.12) between two groups. 2) ROM of AEG appeared the significant difference of uninvolved AROM(t=-3.051, p=.014). 3) The isokinetic muscle function of AEG which were took the aquatic exercise appeared differences in average total work(involved t=-3.879, p=.004, uninvolved t=-4.497, p=.001), and average total work(F=4.802, p=.045) between two groups. 4) The function status of knee joint were significantly different to most variable in AEG. The result of study showed that the positive effect of the aquatic complex exercise program which was executed as the public health center project on the knee osteoarthritis patient’s of quality of life by increasing the physical function, pain, rigidity and body function disorder.

        남자 대학생의 아디포넥틴 농도와 심폐체력 인슐린 저항상과의 관계

        The purpose of this study was to investigate a study of the relationship between adiponectin, HOMA-IR and cradiorepiratory of male adults. Subjects of this study were 449 male The main findings of this study were as follows: 1. Waist circumference, BMI, BF%, HDL-C, VO₂max were significantly difference in high adionectin group than low adiponectin group. 2. Serum adiponectin concentration was negative correlated with Waist circumference, BMI, BF%, DBP and TG and positive correlated with HDL-C and VO₂max. From a multiple regression analysis, HDL-C were found to be independent determinants of serum adiponectin concentration 3. Insulin resistance was negative correlated with waist circumference, BMI, BF%, and TG, and pasitive correlated with HDL-C, and VO₂max. This study showed that the serum adiponectin concentration was related to obesity marker and cardiorespiratory in young college men.

      • OECD에 소속된 동유럽 국가와 다른 유럽국가간의 건강행태 비교 연구

        이 연구는 OECD에 가입한 국가를 대상으로 하였으며, 체제변화와 함께 보건의료 체제에 변화가 이루어진 동유럽 국가를 중심으로 건강행태의 변화를 알아보고, 다른 유럽국가와의 비교를 통해 건강행태에 대한 정보와 개선방안을 모색하는데 있다. 이에 동유럽 국가의 건강행태에 대해 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 동유럽 국가의 국민 의료비 비율(GDP대비), 국민 의료비 지출(1인당), 출생 시 기대수명은 다른 유럽 국가의 평균뿐만 아니라 전체 OECD 국가의 평균 보다 낮았으며, 만성질환 사망률은 높은 결과를 보였다. 건강과 관련된 위험 요소로서 흡연은 대부분의 OECD 국가에서 줄어드는 추세에 있으나 여전히 동유럽 국가의 성인 흡연 비율은 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 알코올 섭취량도 다른 유럽 국가 간에는 차이가 없었으나 여전히 높은 결과를 보였다. 비만율은 영국을 제외한 다른 OECD 국가보다 높은 결과를 보였다. 결론적으로 흡연과 알코올 섭취, 비만 등은 고혈압과 당뇨, 고지혈증 등의 대사성 질환과 연관되어 있으며, 이러한 질환은 심혈관 및 뇌혈관 질환의 선행질환으로 간주되기 때문에 동유럽 국가의 국가경쟁력 강화와 국민들의 건강 증진을 위해서 이러한 질환의 예방과 관리가 반드시 필요할 것으로 생각된다. This study targeted the changes on health behaviors in Eastern Europe OECD countries that represent Eastern Europe- Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and also focused on major Western Europe countries - France, Germany, United Kingdom, Northern Europe countries - Denmark, Sweden, and Southern Europe countries - Italy and Spain to provide information on current health behaviors by comparing Eastern Europe countries and the other Europe countries. The study on the change in current health behaviors in Eastern Europe after the ideology shift compared to other countries in Europe leads to following conclusions. Comparing to GDP, proportion of medical service, medical expenditure per person, life expectancy at birth in Eastern European countries were lower than the average of entire Europe. Besides, Death rate by chronical diseases was higher in Eastern European countries than not only the average of European countries, but also the entire OECD countries. The rate of smoking is in decreasing tendency in Eastern European countries and most OECD countries as it is widely known as a health threatening factor but still the rate of Eastern European countries is higher than the average of the entire OECD countries. Moreover, the amount of alcohol intake in the region is higher than that of average OECD countries. The obesity rate of OECD countries in Eastern Europe is appeared to be higher than that of average of the entire OECD countries and, except for England, most Europe countries have the rate below the average.

        준비운동 형태가 등속성 근기능에 미치는 영향

        This study was intended to find out the proper pattern of warming-up to improve performance, understanding the effects of four patterns(Non preparation; NP, Warm-up only(running); WP, warm-up and stretching; WS, stretching only; SP) of warming-up on isokinetic strength and comparing?analyzing performance ability according to the execution of WP and SP. Twelve male volunteers in university participated in the research for 4 days. After they conducted 4 patterns of warming-up, Isokinetic muscular function(knee 60°/sec, 180°/sec, ankle 60°/sec) was measured as follows. 1. Peak Torque in knee extensor showed high WS in 60°/sec and 180°/sec (F3,33=3.457, p=.028; F3,33=9.158, p=.000), and muscle fatigue displayed low WS (F3,33=4.200, p=.013). 2. Peak Torque in ankle plantar flexors presented high WS in 60°/sec (F3,33=3.191, p=.036), and there was no significant difference, although WP was high in ankle dorsi flexors. 3. Muscle fatigue was low in WS (F3,33=3.287, p=.033). According to the execution of WP, Peak Torque in knee extensor exhibited high WPY in 60°/sec (t=3.048, p=.011) and 180°/sec (t=3.208, p=.008). Peak Torque in ankle plantar flexors had high WPY (t=.391, p=.036) as well, but muscle fatigue of ankle dorsi flexors showed low WPY (t=2.614, p=.024). Therefore, it is effective to perform mixed warming-up with WP and SP for an event that requires consistent muscle strength.

        심폐체력에 따른 아디포넥틴 유전자 다형과 비만지표와의 연관성

        The purpose of the study was to investigate whether or not the SNP T45G gene single nucleotide polymorphism in Cardiorespiratory fitness were associated with obesity markers in young 688 korean adults. Body mass index, fasting blood glucose, Adiponectin concentration lipid profiles were measured in every subject, SNP 45T/G in the adiponectin gene were determined by Taqman polymerase chin reaction (Real time PCR) method. The obesity markers was estimated by BMI (body mass index), (%body fat), waist circumference and Waist hip ratio. Wide type of SNP 45T/G was T allele in korean. BMI had significantly higher G allele group that was risk factors. BMI was significantly lower cardiorespiratory fitness low group. In multiple linear regression, Metabolic syndrome scores, adiponectin, and VO2max analyzed as independent variables of BMI. Adiponectin gen SNP 45T/G were related to cardiorespiratory fitness and BMI. BMI was significantly lower in Low cardiorespiratory fitness group. but doesn’t found independent variable. Cardiorespiratory fitness is low in populations with G allele was higher association between insulin resistance and could not find it.

        한방이화주 주박 추출물에 의한 암세포 항성장 및 세포사멸 기전 연구

        본 연구에서는 한국 전통 막걸리 중 하나인 한방 이화주의 주박으로부터 에탄올 추출물과 그것의 순차적인 유기용매 분획물을 획득하고, 이들 시료들이 인간 대장암 세포인 HCT116 세포주의 cell viability와 pro-apoptotic 유전자인 ATF-3와 NAG-1의 발현에 미치는 영향을 연구하였다. 처리된 유기용매 시료 가운데 KSD-E3-2 분획물(hexane 분획물)과 KSD-E3-3 분획물 (ethyl acetate 분획물)의 처리에 의해 현저하게 세포생존율이 감소하였으며, 두 분획물에 의해 농도의존적으로 세포 생존율이 감소하였다. 또한, 두 분획물의 처리에 의해 pro-apoptotic 유전자인 NAG-1과 ATF-3의 유전자와 단백질의 발현이 증가함을 확인하였다. 특히, KSD-E3-3 분획물 0.1 mg/ml의 처리에 의해 NAG-1 단백질의 발현이 현저하게 증가하였으며, 또한 apoptosis의 지표인 PARP cleavage가 관찰되었다. 이러한 KSD-E3-3 분획물에 의해 유도된 apoptosis는 NAG-1 siRNA transfection에 의해 회복됨을 확인하였다. 따라서, KSD-E3-3 분획물에 의한 NAG-1 단백질의 발현증가와 apoptosis 간의 직접적인 관련성이 있음을 시사한다. 종합적으로 본 연구 결과는 한방이화주 주박에 함유된 생리활성물질의 암세포 항 성장 활성 및 apoptosis 기전을 이해하는데 도움을 줄 것으로 생각된다. In the present study, ethanol extracts and their subsequent organic solvent fractions were extracted from the lees of Ehwa Makgeolli containing oriental herbs, a commercialized traditional Korean rice wine, and the prepared lees samples were designated as from KSD-E3-1 to KSD-E3-5. First, their effects on cell viability and on the expression of pro-apoptotic ATF3 and NAG-1 genes in human colorectal HCT116 cells were investigated. Among the treated lees samples, the hexane fraction (KSD-E3-2) and the ethyl acetate fraction (KSD-E3-3) of lees extracts from Ehwa Makgeolli significantly reduced cell viabilities, in a dose dependent manner. The treatment with KSD-E3-2 and KSD-E3-3 also increased the expression of pro-apoptotic NAG-1 and ATF-3 genes and their proteins, which were detected with RT-PCR and Western blot analysis, respectively. In addition, poly-(ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP) cleavage was detected by treatment with the fraction KSD-E3-3, indicating that KSD-E3-3 could induce apoptosis in HCT116 cells. Interestingly, this PARP cleavage was recovered by transfection of NAG-1 small interfering RNA. The results indicate that NAG-1 is one of the genes responsible for apoptosis induced by the fraction KSD-E3-3 from Ehwa Makgeolli. Overall, the findings may help in understanding the molecular mechanisms of the anti-proliferative and pro-apoptotic activities mediated by the lees of Ehwa Makgeolli.
