저자들은 8세 남아에서 교통사고 후 우연히 발견된 혈흉과 복부 종물의 진단 과정에서 확진된 폐 및 골 전이를 동반한 후복강 내 신외 윌름 종양 1례를 경험하였기에 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고 하고자 한다. Extrarenal Wilms' tumor is a very exceptional tumor which is defined as Wilms' tumor found anywhere other than in the kidneys. Until now less than 60 cases have been reported in the English literature. The tumor can be located in the retroperitoneum, inguinal canal, uterus, cervix, testes, skin and even in the thorax. The diagnosis is almost always made after surgical intervention. Distant metastasis of this tumor has only been reported in the case of a 6-year-old girl who developed Wilms' tumor in the inguinal canal with lung involvement. In this paper we report a case of extrarenal Wilms' tumor in retroperitoneum with distant metastasis to lungs, ribs and pelvic bone in a 6-year old male. The tumor was successfully removed without tumor cell spillage. The patient was diagnosed as favorable histologic group, in which the tumor consists of epithelial, blastemal and mesenchymal components without teratomatous elements. He received combination chemotherapy according to NWTS-IV guidelines and radiation to involved lungs, and has been alive and well for the last 6 months without severe complication or relapse.
NiO/camphene 슬러리의 동결건조 및 수소환원 공정에 의한 Ni 다공체 제조

In this study, freeze drying of a porous Ni with unidirectionally aligned pore channels is accomplished by using a NiO powder and camphene. Camphene slurries with NiO content of 5 and 10 vol% are prepared by mixing them with a small amount of dispersant at $50^{\circ}C$. Freezing of a slurry is performed at $-25^{\circ}C$ while the growth direction of the camphene is unidirectionally controlled. Pores are generated subsequently by sublimation of the camphene during drying in air for 48 h. The green bodies are hydrogen-reduced at $400^{\circ}C$ and then sintered at $800^{\circ}C$ and $900^{\circ}C$ for 1 h. X-ray diffraction analysis reveals that the NiO powder is completely converted to the Ni phase without any reaction phases. The sintered samples show large pores that align parallel pores in the camphene growth direction as well as small pores in the internal walls of large pores. The size of large and small pores decreases with increasing powder content from 5 to 10 vol%. The influence of powder content on the pore structure is explained by the degree of powder rearrangement in slurry and the accumulation behavior of powders in the interdendritic spaces of solidified camphene.
후방십자인대 내에 발생한 관절내 결절종 - 1례 보고 -

슬관절내 결절종은 무증상에서 부터 동통, 운동장애 등의 다양한 형태의 증상으로 나타나며, 자기공명영상이 진단적 도구로 이용된 후 진단율이 높아지고 있으나, 여전히 드문 질환이다. 특히 후방십자인대 주위의 결절종은 십자인대 후방과 후방 관절막 사이에 위치하는 것이 대부분이며, 후방십자인대 내부에 위치한 예는 아직 보고된 바가 없다. 본 예는 간헐적 동통 및 굴곡 구축을 주소로 내원한 12세 환아에서 자기공명영상 검사에서 후방십자인대 내의 결절종으로 진단되어 후격막 통과 도달법으로 후방십자인대를 분열하여 낭종 제거 후 2년 추시 관찰에서 우수한 결과를 얻었기에 보고하고자 한다. Ganglionic cyst formation within the posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) of knee has not been reported. We describe a case of an intraligamentous ganglionic cyst of PCL. Arthroscopic technique through both the posteromedial and posterolateral portals was used for approach. Using probe, PCL was splitted and perforated ganglionic cyst at tibial attachement side. At 2 years follow up, the patient was free of symptoms with a full range of motion and follow-up MR image showed that there was no recurred ganglionic cyst.
전기화학적 식각에 의한 Gr. 91 강의 표면 개질 연구

A study was conducted on fabrication technology to form a microstructure of Grade 91 steel using an electrochemical etching process. We observed the morphology of surface structures according to the process parameters such as electrolyte concentration, applied voltage, and reaction time. The generated microstructures were greatly affected by the electrolyte concentration and current density rather than the reaction time. Each condition was combined to form a unique morphology that has both micro-scaled valley-like channels and micro-hole structures. In order to figure out the effect of unique morphology, a capillary rise characteristic was measured using infrared thermometry. The experiments showed enhancement of the capillary performance due to the unique microstructure by the proposed surface modification technique. This can be applied to components using Grade 91 steel, such as heat exchangers and steam generators operating in a high-temperature environment.
비정방형 블록을 이용한 보간 프레임의 정확도 향상 기법

기존의 프레임율 증가 변환 알고리즘의 경우 움직임 추정을 위해 정방형의 블록을 사용하며, 임의의 형태를 갖는 물체의 경계를 정확하게 구분할 수 없어 정확한 움직임 벡터를 찾는데 한계가 있었다. 이에 반해 제안하는 비정방형 블록 분할 알고리즘은 텍스처 정보를 이용하여 블록을 두 개의 비정방형 블록으로 분할하여 실제 물체의 경계를 찾는데 적합하다. 또한 주변 블록의 분할 방법에 따라 선택적으로 움직임 벡터를 참조하는 알고리즘을 제안함으로써, 아웃라이어(Outlier)를 방지하고 실제 움직임 벡터를 찾는데 탁월한 성능을 보인다. 실험 결과 제안하는 알고리즘은 기존대비 평균 20-40%의 연산량으로 최대 2.03㏈ 높은 PSNR 성능을 보이는 것을 확인하였으며, SSIM 비교에서는 최대 0.0214의 향상을 확인하였다. This paper presents a novel frame rate up-conversion (FRUC) algorithm. Existing algorithms, in general, employ rectangular blocks for motion estimation and arbitrary shape of an actual object region cannot be precisely represented. On the other hand, the proposed wedge-shaped block partitioning algorithm partitions a rectangular block into two wedge-shaped blocks using the texture information, which makes better approximation for an actual object region. The wedge-shaped block partitioning algorithm as well as the adaptive motion vector prediction algorithm is used to reliably estimate the actual motion. Experimental results show that the proposed FRUC algorithm is superior to existing algorithms up to 1.988㏈ in PSNR and 0.0167 in SSIM comparisons.

인구의 고령화로 인해 노인 인구가 늘어나고, 핵가족화가 빠르게 진행되고 있다. 현재 AI스피커는 일상적으로 사람과 사람 간에 이루어지는 대화보다는 사용자의 명령어에 반응하는 형태이다. 독거노인이 먼저 얘기를 하지 않으면 AI스피커의 사용성은 떨어지게 된다. 본 논문에서는 고령자 맞춤 능동적 상호작용의 AI스피커 개발 내용에 대해 기술한다. 본 스피커는 독거노인의 움직임과 주변 상황을 파악하여 능동적으로 말을 걸어줄 수 있으며, 대화의 내용에 맞는 감정표현을 디스플레이 시킬 수 있다. 이를 통해 사용자는 AI스피커를 의인화하게 되어 친근감을 느낄 수 있고 감성 대화가 가능해짐에 따라 외로움을 달랠 수 있는 긍정적인 역할을 할 것으로 기대한다. Due to the aging of the population, the number of the elderly is increasing, and the nuclear family is rapidly progressing. Today’s AI speakers respond to user commands rather than conversations that occur on a daily basis. If the elderly living alone do not talk first, the usability of the AI speaker will decrease. In this paper, it describes the development of AI speakers for active interaction tailored to the aged. This speaker can identify the movements of the elderly who live alone and their surroundings, actively speak to them, and display emotional expressions appropriate to the content of the conversation. Through this, users will be able to anthropomorphize AI speakers, so they can feel familiarity and emotional conversation is expected to play a positive role in easing their loneliness.
