Durable superhydrophilic and anti-biofouling coatings formed for oil-water separation

Unique superwetting interfaces by means of layer-by-layer (LbL) assembly is of interest for practical applications, oil-water separation in particular. However, durability problem is still a challenge. Herein, branched poly(ethylenimine) (BPEI) and silica nanoparticles (SNPs) were assembled into a hydrogen-bonding-based LbL multilayers in the presence of UV-curable poly(urethane acrylate) (PUA), which is described as (PUA-SNPs/BPEI)n. The as-prepared coatings showed good acid, thermal, and mechanical stability following crosslinking by UV exposure. Crosslinking is of great importance for LbL film, considering the weak interactions among polyelectrolytes. Moreover, the anti-biofouling property was enhanced for gram-positive Staphylococcus aureus and gram-negative Pseudomonas aeruginosa contamination. At last, the superhydrophilic polycarbonate track-etched (PCTE) membrane coated with coatings was also investigated for oil-water separation.
럭셔리 핸드백의 시그니처 하드웨어 유형과 특성 분석 연구

오늘날 럭셔리 핸드백 산업은 지난 수십 년 동안지속적인 성장을 해왔으며, 2010년대에 들어오면서 새로운 시장의 판로를 확장해오고 있다. 현재는 새로운소비계층인 밀레니얼 세대와 Z세대의 유입을 통해서성장하는 중이다. 럭셔리 핸드백 디자인 구성요소에서디자인 시그니처는 브랜드의 핵심적인 가치와 본질을드러낸다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 럭셔리 핸드백에서‘브랜드 현저성’, ‘Brand Prominence’를 나타내는 중요한 제품 요소인 핸드백 로고 하드웨어에 대한 기존선행연구들을 보완하여 ‘시그니처 하드웨어’라는 새로운 개념을 제안하였다. 시그니처 하드웨어는 브랜드를상징하고 소비자가 인식할 수 있으며, 브랜드의 창의적인 방향성을 담은 디자인 시그니처 역할을 할 수있다. 시그니처 하드웨어는 로고 하드웨어와 아이코닉하드웨어로 분류할 수 있으며, 기능과 장식 요소를 통해서 세부 유형을 분류할 수 있다. 직접 로고를 ‘시끄럽게’드러내는 로고 하드웨어와 브랜드 상징을 ‘조용하게’드러내는 아이코닉 하드웨어는 젊은 고객들과 변화하는 문화에 대응하기 위한 새로운 핸드백 디자인전략으로 활용될 수 있다. 최근 럭셔리 핸드백의 시그니처 하드웨어는 창의적인 방향성을 가지고 ‘전통을재해석’하며, ‘새로운 문화 연결’을 시도하고, ‘예술화전략’을 나타내는 특성이 있다는 것을 분석하였다. Today’s luxury handbag industry has been growing steadily for decades and has been expanding into new markets since the 2010s. It is currently growing through the influx of new consumer segments: millennials and Gen Z. As a design component of luxury handbags, the design signature reveals the core values and essence of the brand. This study complements the existing literature on handbag logo hardware as an important product element that represents ‘brand prominence’ in luxury handbags and proposes a new concept of ‘signature hardware’. Signature hardware can symbolize the brand, be recognized by consumers, and serve as the design signature of the brand’s creative direction. Signature hardware can be categorized into logo hardware and iconic hardware, which can be further subdivided into functional and decorative elements. Logo hardware, which directly reveals the logo “loudly” and iconic hardware, which reveals the brand symbol “quietly”, can be utilized as a new handbag design strategy to respond to younger customers and changing culture. The analysis shows that the signature hardware of recent luxury handbags has the characteristics of having a creative direction, “reinterpreting tradition”, attempting to “connect new cultures”, and representing an “artification strategy”.
온라인 동조 PI 제어기법을 이용한 영구자석형 동기전동기의 속도제어기 설계

본 논문은 브러시리스 직류 전동기의 속도제어를 위해 파라메타의 추정 없이 입력과 출력의 패턴을 관찰하여 PI 이득을 온라인(On-line)으로 설정하는 방법을 제안한다. 비례이득은 한계입력을 인가하여 가장 빠른 속도 상승을 유도하는 과정에서 설정되고, 적분이득은 비례제어 과정 중에 오버슈트 방지와 안정된 수렴이 적적히 이루어지도록 설정된다. 따라서 제안된 PI이득 조정은 온라인으로 제어와 동시에 수행됨으로써 시스템 파라메타 추정 등의 부가적인 작업이 필요 없다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 PI이득 조절기법은 직류전동기의 속도제어에 있어서 빠른 응답과 오버슈트 문제를 동시에 해결할 수 있고, 기존의 Auto-tuning 방법보다 간편하고 실용적이다. 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션과 실제 실험을 통하여 제안하는 방법의 유용성과 안정성을 보인다. In this paper, a method of on-line PI gain-tuning is proposed for the speed control of brushless D.C. motor by investigating the pattern of input and output without estimating parameter. Proportional gain is tuned in the process to obtain a fast speed response by supplying the maximum constant input And integral gain is appropriately tuned in the process of proportional control so that the response may be stably converged and the overshoot may be prevented. Therefore because both control and gain-tuning are executed concurrently, additional works that estimate parameters and so on aren't required in the proposed method. In the proposed method, both fast-response and overshoot problem are well solved, and it is mire useful and convenient than existing auto-tuning methods in the speed control of D.C motor. It is illustrated by simulations and experimental results that the proposed method is useful and stable.
대퇴골 과상부 골절에 대한 연구 : 과간 골절을 중심으로 Focus on Intercondylar Fractures

Supracondylar and intercondylar fractures of the femur remain difficult fracture to treat successfully, because of specific anatomical structure and location. There was a controversial in method of treatment, classification, and clinical result. Any mode of classification in intercondylar fracture, which reflects profound relationship of clinical aspects, has not been presented yet. So, a new classification system for fracture of the intetcondylar fracture of the distal femur are presented and clinical results are analyzed, according to type of fracture. The result are as follows: 1. The prevalent age was 3rd and 4th decade, and the sex ratio between males and females was 3.5:1. The mean age was 37.3 years old. 2. The satisfactory result of surgical treatment was 56.3% and conservative treatment was 33.3% respectively. 3. The intercondylar fracture of the distal femur were classified into 4 types, based on state of cortical comminution and involvement of joint surface. Type A (simple intercondylar fracture): there was no or slight comminution. Type B(lateral comminuted intercondylar fracture): there was comminution on lateral side of supracondylar or condylar cortex. Type C (medial comminuted intercondylar fracture) :
