인체 B 림프구 활성화의 신호전달과정에서 IL-4 수용체와 CD40 분자간의 상호작용

Stimulation of B cells through CD40 antigen has been reported to agument the interleukin-4(IL-4)induced B cell proliferation and differentiation. In order to elucidate mechanisms underlying the synergistic action, we examined the effect of CD40-mediated signal on the IL-4-induced B cell activation. Treatment of dense, resting tonsillar B cells with agonistic anti-CD40 mAb caused a noticeable induction of IL-4 receptor(IL-4R) mRNA expression within hours, which was followed by a significant enhancement of the IL-4-induced surface IL-4R and CD23 expression, suggesting a role of CD40 in amplifying the IL-4-induced signal. Signal interplay between the IL-4 and the CD40 system was further supported by the observation that, in tonsillar B cells, IL-4 plus anti-IgM induced CD40 expression and tyrosine phosphorylation of IL-4R, and that anti-CD40 co-immunoprecipitated the IL-4R and the IL-4R associated tyrosine kinase activity, which implies a possible molecular interaction between IL-4R and CD40. Together these results suggest that there is a cross-talk between CD40-and the IL-4R-mediated signal transduction system during the T cell-dependent B cell activation.

현대사회에서는 경제상황의 급격한 발달로 인해 상품 및 거래내용이 복잡하고 다양하게 됨으로써 일방당사자의 지식 또는 정보수집 능력이 타방당사자에 비하여 현저하게 떨어지는 경우가 발생하게 된다. 정보량의 격차는 계약체결에 있어서 의사결정을 좌우할 수 있는 매우 중요한 사항으로,대등하지 않는 양 당사자 간의 계약은 불공정한 요소를 포함할 가능성이 크다. 이러한 불공정한 계약을 방지하기 위하여 우리나라는 ‘약관의 규제에관한 법률’, ‘독점규제 및 공정거래에 관한 법률’ 등을 두고 있으며, 특히 프랜차이즈 계약에 있어서 불공정한 관행을 규제하기 위하여 ‘가맹사업거래의 공정화에 관한 법률’을 두고 있다. 가맹사업거래의 공정화에 관한 법률은 허위 과장광고로 인해 피해를 입은 가맹희망자들이 계약체결 전 미리가맹본부로부터 중요한 정보를 제공받음으로써 경제적 법률적으로 약자의지위에 있는 가맹점사업자를 보호하는 사전적 구제책으로서의 역할을 하고있다. 그러나 동법은 사후적 구제수단으로써 가맹계약의 무효 또는 해제,손해배상의 청구 등 민사적 책임에 대해서는 직접적인 규정을 두고 있지 않다. 결국, 현행법상 민사법일반 이론에 의지할 수밖에 없는 실정이다. 이에 본 논문은 프랜차이즈 계약을 체결함에 있어서 정보수집능력 및 교섭능력에서 우위에 있는 가맹본부에 의해 일방적으로 작성된 계약서에 의한 계약을 체결함으로써 법률지식 등이 부족한 가맹희망자가 불공정한 거래내용으로 손해를 입는 것을 방지하고, 이미 발생한 분쟁에서 이들을 보호하기 위한 제도로서 민사적 제재수단을 적극적으로 활용할 수 있는 법리를 연구하고 있다.

The Sacred Immortality of Keats’ Political Spirit in Shelley’s Adonais

In the Romantic period, the ideological conflicts between the conservative and the liberal poets become greatly complicated after the failure of the French Revolution. The liberal poets like Shelley strongly propose that they have the change the society more idealistically by means of their poems. Shelley might acknowledge that in reality it is extremely difficult to satisfy his idealistic aspiration. Adonais is the poem which Shelley's burgeoning aspirations for the political power is deeply embedded in, though it is well known as a pastoral elegy for Keats's tragic death. He subconsciously disguises his sense of political power by questioning Keats's death in Adonais. In spite of Keats's physical death in reality,Shelley symbolically portrays the tragic death as a political triumph in Adonais, which means the realization of idealized revolt. In addition,Shelley's aggressive and eternal desire for taking over the political power is also reflected in Adonais. Especially, Shelley liberally treats his Adonais as a consciously exposed manifestation of realistic antipathy or a confirmation of discreditable orthodox by clinging to his Utopia. The Utopia that Shelley in Adonais aspires for can be said to be what he wishes to realize politically as a poet of revolution. Though Shelley's political aim was not realized in the reality, his political aspiration for the Utopia is fulfilled in his imaginative poem.

Failed Political Desire in Romantic Revenge Tragedy: Byron’s Marino Faliero

This paper explores the theme of failed political desire in Lord Byron's Marino Faliero in terms of the traditional lineage of the revenge tragedy. I will investigate the progress of Romantic writer's political tendency toward national reform, which led to the failure of political desire at the end of drama as a reflection of their frustration in reality. During this time spent in a foreign and continental country, right after finishing his Manfred, Byron was particularly interested in writing a political drama concerning the actual tragedy which occurred in Venice, Italy. In Byron's mind, the political situation of Italy's past could be compared with the current reality of England during the Romantic period. The historical tragedy was based on the real story of the execution of the Italian doge, Marino Faliero, who was engaged in a conspiracy against Italian sovereignty which led to the fatal decapitation. Doge's crisis implicitly shows Byron's failed political desire for reform.

B 림프구 활성화 자극에 따른 Interleukin-4 수용체와 Type II IgE 수용체 발현조절양상의 상호관련성

Interleukin-4(IL-4) specifically induces the expression of its own receptor, IL-4R and type II IgE receptor, FceR1l in a dose-dependent manner in human B lymphocytes. We observed that the IL-4-induced expression of IL-4R and Fce Rll were both down-regulated by interferon-T(IFN-T) at mRNA as well as surface protein levels in normal B lymphocytes. Such co-ordinated regulation of the IL-4-induced IL-4R and FceRlI also occurred by anti-CD40 and steroid, each regulating the IL-4-induced response in an opposite direction. While anti-CD40, which is re-ported to agument the IL-4-induced B cell activation, further enhanced the IL-4-induced IL-4R and Fee RU expression, methylprednisolon(MPD) strongly inhibited the level of these receptors. The anti-CD40 or MPD-induced modulation of the IL-4-induced IL-4R and FceRII was further subject to the down-regulation by lFN-T. As compared to normal B lymphocytes, a differential regulation of IL-4R and FceRII was noted in a transformed B cell line, where IFN- Tup-regulated the IL-4-induced responses. Still, there was a co-ordinated regulation of the IL-4R and FceRII in these cells. Taken together, these results suggest that modulation of IL-4R expression and FccRII induction are closely correlated events during the IL-4-induced cellular activation
