Magnetic Investigation of the Yangsan Fault

경상분지내에서 가장 뚜렷한 선구조로 나타나는 양산 단층이 지나는 곳으로 생각되는 네 지역을 선정하여 육상자력탐사를 실시하였다. 정성적 분석을 위한 자료처리과정으로는 표준자기장 (IGRF) 보정, 상향 연속과 자극화 변환을 수행하였고, 정량적 해석을 위해서는 수평 2층 지하 지질구조에 있어서 하부층까지의 심도를 모델변수로 하는 비선형 자동 역산법을 적용하였다. 육상자력 이상도의 상향 연속 결과와 동일 지역에서 수행된 항공 자력 탐사자료를 비교한 바에 의하면 두 자료의 유사도가 비교적 높게 나타났다. 네 곳의 탐사지역내에서 양산 단층의 주향은 북동$6^{\circ}-15^{\circ}$의 경향이 우세하게 나타났으며, 단층의 경사는 지역적인 암상의 변화에도 불구하고 수직내지 약간 동쪽 방향의 경사를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 탐사 지역중 가장 북쪽에 위치하는 안강부근의 제 1 탐사지역에서는 단층구조에 의한 자력효과가 화성암의 관입에 의한 효과와 함께 나타난 복잡한 양상을 띠며, 언양부근의 제 2 탐사 지역에서는 단층면을 따라 약 200 - 300 미터의 폭을 갖는 화산성, 혹은 화성 기원의 관입이 일어난 것으로 보인다. 용연 부근의 제 3 지역에서는 다른 지역과는 달리 단층운동에 의한 것으로 생각되는 파쇄대가 약 600 - 700 미터 정도의 폭으로 비교적 뚜렷하게 나타났다. 가장 남쪽에 위치하는 양산부근의 제 4 지역에서는 안산암 시료가 매우 큰 대자율 값을 보이며, 본 연구 결과 이 지역의 단층선은 기존 연구에서 제시된 단층선보다 약 500 미터 정도 동쪽으로 치우쳐 나타난다. Ground magnetic surveys were conducted at four areas where the Yangsan fault, the most prominent lineament in the Kyeongsang basin, appears to be passed through. For data processing, IGRF correction, upward continuation and reduction-to-the-pole were performed. The automatic inversion by using a matrix computation method, which takes the depth to bottom layer of the horizontal two layer structure as the model parameter, has been attempted to delineate the subsurface structure. Upward continuation of the surface magnetic map to the same level of the aeromagnetic survey (KIER, 1989) resulted in very similiar patterns to those of aeromagnetic data. Subsurface modeling of eight profile data show that the strike and dip of the Yangsan fault in study areas are $N6^{\circ}-15^{\circ}E$, and near vertical to somewhat eastward, repectively, despite of the local lithological contrast of each study area. It seems that the magnetic effect of faulting in the study area 1, which locates in the most northern part of the survey areas, is disturbed by that of igneous intrusion. At study area 2, the possibility of volcanic or igneous intrusion, which is 200-300 meters wide along the fault plane was presented. At study area 3, unlike other study areas, distinct fracture zone of 500-700 meters in width was revealed along the surface fault line. The andesitic rocks of the study area 4 have very high susceptibilities and the fault line on surface of this area was shifted about 500 meter eastward, as compared with the inferred fault line by the previous study.

Background & Object : Dyspepsia for which no organic causes are disclosed is referred to as functional dyspepsia. Functional dyspepsia is here studied in connection with a biopsychosocial model. From the aspect of individual response to external environment, in connection with stress response, functional dyspepsia is studied by both the psychology department and the internal medicine departments. The disease is taken as approachable from the aspect of internal injury due to seven emotions and stress as differentiated by Oriental medicine. Materials and Methods : Targeted at 223 patients underwent medical checks and endoscopy at Kangnam Korean Hospital, Kyunghee University. They agreed to join this clinical experiment. Stress response inventory, GARS (global assessment of recent stress scale), GSRS (gastrointestinal symptom rating scale), diagnostic scores for Ki-depression, and Spleen Disease Differentiation of Syndromes were all measured and evaluated. The test group was comprised of functional dyspepsia patients. The control group was comprised of nonsymptomatic chronic gastritis patients who were found to suffer from chronical gastritis in endoscopy and thus could be diagnosed with functional dyspepsia if symptoms would arise, but did not complain of subjective symptoms. Results showed these corelations: Functional dyspepsia patients were found to have more serious Ki-depression compared to nonsymptomatic chronic gastritis patients. The more serious Ki-depression the more serious the dyspepsia symptoms. The higher the stress response inventory the more serious the dyspepsia. Deficiency of spleen Eum, and Deficiency and Sinking of spleen Gi were found to coincide with serious Ki-depression.

조선후기 천문학자 이덕성의 생애와 천문활동

The life and astronomical activity of Lee Deok-Seong (李德星, 1720-1794) was studied using various historical sources, including the astronomical almanac, Seungjeongwon-Ilgi (Daily records of Royal Secretariat of Joseon dynasty), and the Gwansang-Gam's logbooks during Joseon dynasty (A.D. 1392-1910). We present the results of the study including the following main findings. First, from the investigation of Lee's family tree, we find that a number of his relatives were also astronomers, notably Samryeok-Gwan (三曆官, the post of calendrical calculation). Second, we find that he took part in the compilation of an annual astronomical almanac over a period of at least 16 years. His major achievements in the astronomy of the Joseon dynasty were to establish a new method of calendar-making calculation and to bring astronomical materials to the Joseon court through a visit to China. The Joseon dynasty enforced the Shixianli (時憲曆, a Chinese calendar made by Adam Shall) in 1654 without fully understanding the calendar. So an astronomer and an envoy were dispatched to China in order to master the intricacies of the calendar and to learn as much of Western science as was available in that time and place. Lee Deok-Seong worked at the Gwansang-Gam (觀象監, Royal Astronomical Bureau) during the reigns of King Yeongjo (英祖) and Jeongjo (正祖). As best as we can ascertain in relation with the calculations in the Shixian calendar, Lee visited China four times. During his trips and interactions, he learned a new method for calendar-making calculations, and introduced many Western-Chinese astronomical books to Joseon academia. Lee greatly improved the accuracy of calendrical calculations, even while simplifying the calculation process. With these achievements, he finally was promoted to the title of Sungrok-Daebu (崇祿大夫), the third highest grade of royal official. In conclusion, history demonstrates that Lee Deok-Seong was one of the most outstanding astronomers in the late-Joseon dynasty.

To achieve effectiveness and optimized design for light weight vehicle body, many concept design methodologies have been studied. However, study using database would be not conducted yet. Therefore, In this study, it is a study on body structure multi-disciplinary optimum design process using knowledge-based body joint cross-section database. The database includes 42 competitive vehicles with 10 cross-sections. Using the database, cross section of body structure is selected for conceptual model construction. The target is reference model`s performance improvement. To select suitable cross section, what-if design method is applied. As a result, crashworthiness is about 15% and static/dynamic stiffness is 3.5% improved And also, body structure`s mass is 0.5% diminished. From this paper, it could be verified that cross-sectional performance affects body structure performance. Moreover, by evaluation of cross-section performance, fast variation of concept design would be capable.

This study, changes in raw water quality is to indicate on the efficiency of ozone treatment of each pollutant as compared to derive the appropriate operating measures.   In China, legal regulation for foreign securities investment is comparatively strict. Approval of market access is a part of legal framework of foreign securities investment.<BR>  The legal framework of market access of foreign securities investment can be divided into three types:<BR>  Firstly, Establishment of Foreign-shared Securities Companies or Foreign-shared Fund Management, which is open for foreign investors belongs to the category of market access in Trade in Service. The Specific Commitments on Service list and concrete representation of legal regulation are the study basis of its system; It belongs to the legal category of direct foreign investment in the classification of branch law as well as the Commercial Presence, one of the four forms of service trading legal regulations, since foreign investors take participation in establishment of Foreign-shared Securities Companies or Foreign-shared Fund Management Companies in our territories.<BR>  Secondly, Qualified Foreign Institutional Investors system. The access system of Chinese securities market that open for offshore investors, i.e. confirms securities investors offshore getting main body qualification to invest securities market directly which including entity document, procedure document and auditing system through enacting legal regulations. Law comparatively leads to a clear orientation of investment behavior in that of these main bodies, i.e. according to controls over proportion of possessing shares, that requires conduct of securities transaction for the purpose of profitable investment only, not realizing the purchase of listed company for the purpose of holding masterdom from the legal sense, it typically belongs to the area of foreign indirect investment of traditional foreign investment law.<BR>  Thirdly, Strategic Investment upon Listed Companies. The Measures apply to such acts as foreign investors acquired A-shares of the listed company having finished reform of non-tradable shares and of the new listed companies by means of long-and-mid-term strategic investment of merger and acquisition with certain scale.
