Matchmaker : Fuzzy Vault Scheme for Weighted Preference

Juels와 Sudan의 퍼지 볼트 기법은 기법이 갖는 오류 내성 때문에 많은 연구에 사용 되어오고 있다. 그러나 이들의 퍼지 볼트 기법은 그들의 논문에서 영화 애호가 문제를 예를 들었음에도 불구하고, 사람들이 일반적으로 갖는 선호도(preference)의 차이에 대한 고려가 존재하지 않는다. 한편, Nyang과 Lee는 안전하고 성능이 좋은 얼굴인증 시스템을 만들기 위해서, 얼굴 특징이 서로 다른 가중치를 갖도록 얼굴 특징과 퍼지 볼트(vault) 사이에 특별한 연관 구조를 갖는 얼굴 인증 시스템(이른바, 퍼지 얼굴 볼트)을 소개하였다. 그러나 그들의 기법은 일반적인 특징 추출 기법들이 클래스 내부/간 차이를 최적화하려는 특성이 있기 때문에 인증 실패율을 성공적으로 낮추지 못할 것으로 쉽게 예상할 수 있다. 이 논문에서는 퍼지 볼트의 유연성을 제공해주기 위하여 Nyang과 Lee의 퍼지 볼트기반의 얼굴 인증 시스템에서 가중치 아이디어를 다른 방식으로 구현한 버킷(bucket) 구조와 사용자 선호도와 시스템 구현 간 관계를 공식화하는 세 가지 분포 함수에 대해서 소개한다. 또한 이를 바탕으로 선호도 매치메이커(preference matchmaker) 기법을 제안하며, 영화 데이터베이스를 이용하여 이러한 매치메이커의 연산 성능을 확인해본다. Juels and Sudan’s fuzzy vault scheme has been applied to various researches due to its error-tolerance property. However, the fuzzy vault scheme does not consider the difference between people’s preferences, even though the authors instantiated movie lover’ case in their paper. On the other hand, to make secure and high performance face authentication system, Nyang and Lee introduced a face authentication system, so-called fuzzy face vault, that has a specially designed association structure between face features and ordinary fuzzy vault in order to let each face feature have different weight. However, because of optimizing intra/inter class difference of underlying feature extraction methods, we can easily expect that the face authentication system does not successfully decrease the face authentication failure. In this paper, for ensuring the flexible use of the fuzzy vault scheme, we introduce the bucket structure, which differently implements the weighting idea of Nyang and Lee’s face authentication system, and three distribution functions, which formalize the relation between user’s weight of preferences and system implementation. In addition, we suggest a matchmaker scheme based on them and confirm its computational performance through the movie database.

최근 제안된 두 그룹서명기법의 암호분석

연결불가능성(unlinkability)과 추적불가능성(traceability)은 그룹서명이 만족해야 하는 기본적인 요구사항이다. 본 논문에서 최근 Lee등과 Zhu등에 의해서 제안된 두 그룹 서명기법들이 갖는 취약점을 분석하였다. Lee등의 기법은 합법적인 서명자가 생성한 서명을 검증할 수 없는 설계상의 치명적인 문제를 갖고 있으며, 검증과정이 안고 있는 문제와 별개로 동일한 서명자가 생성한 서명을 항상 링크할 수 있음을 보인다. 또, Zhu등의 그룹서명기법에서 그룹의 관리자가 추적할 수 없도록 서명을 생성하는 것이 가능함을 보이고, 저자들의 주장과 달리, 그들의 기법이 전방향 안전성을 만족하지 않음을 보인다. Unlinkability and traceability are basic security requirements of a group signature scheme. In this paper, we analyze two recent group signature schemes, Lee et al.'s scheme and Zhu et al.'s scheme. We show that Lee et al.’s scheme does not work correctly. Further, it fails to meet unlinkability, that is, anyone who intercepts or receives group signatures are able to check if they are from the same signer. We also show that Zhu et al.'s scheme is unable to satisfy traceability, that is, a malicious group member can generate valid group signatures that cannot be opened. Moreover, once becoming group member, the malicious group member will never be revoked from group. Besides, Zhu et al.'s scheme fails to satisfy forward security, a requirement claimed by authors.

This study was designed to develop and lest a structural model for paternal adaplation and family stress in the families with the handicapped children. A hypothetical model was constructed on the basis of family stress theory developed by McCubbin etc. The model included 6 theoretical concepts and 11 paths. For the purpose of the model testing, empirical data were collected from May to August, 1992. The subject of the study constituted 190 mothers whose children admitted in the five special schools and one privale institutes in Seoul and Choong Nam. In data analysis, SPSS PC+ and PC-LISREL 7.13 computer program were utilized for descriptive and covariance structure analysis. The results of lhe study were as follows. (1) Hypothetical model showed a good fit to the empirical data [Chi-square = 21.19 (df = 7, P = o. 003), Goodness of Fit Index=O.986, Adjusted Goodness of Fit Indes=0.946, Root Mean Square lesidual=0.048), Non Normed Fit Index = 0.80, Normed Fit Index=0.91]. (2) The results of Hypothesis testing indicated: 1) Social support(${\gamma}_11=.238$, T=2.352), Family Functioning(${\gamma}_12=.729$, T=5.957) had direct effects on situational definition. 2) life event stress(${\gamma}_23=.284$, T=5.220) had direct effects on the effect of the handicapped chid on the family. 3) Family functioning(${\gamma}_32=-.239$, T= -3.370) had direct effects on paternal adapation. From the above results, the significance of this study can be delineated as follows : The construction and testing of the comprehensive model seem to be the first trial in Korea. The model was supported by empirical dala. Thus it was suggested that model could be adequately applied to framily nusing care with the handicapped.

폐암세포주에서 PS-341에 의한 아포프토시스에서 JNK와 GSK-$3{\beta}$의 역할 및 상호관련성

연구배경 : PS-341은 최근에 개발된 강력하고 특이적인 proteasome 억제제로서, 일부 암환자에 투여하여 좋은 성적이 보고되고 있다. Proteasome 억제제의 항암효과는 아포프토시스 유발 물질, 즉 p53, $p21^{WAF/CIP1}$, $p27^{KIP1}$, NF-${\kappa}B$, Bax, Bcl-2 등의 발현 증가와 관련이 있는 것으로 생각되고 있다. JNK와 GSK-$3{\beta}$도 아포프토시스에 관여하는 것으로 잘 알려져 있지만, PS-341에 의한 아포프토시스에서의 역할은 규명되지 못한 상태이다. 본 연구에서는 폐암세포주에서 PS-341에 의한 아포프토시스에서 JNK와 GSK-$3{\beta}$의 역할을 규명하고자 하였다. 방 법 : NCI-H157과 A549 폐암세포주를 실험에 사용하였다. 세포생존능은 MTT 방법으로 평가하였고, 아포프토시스는 PARP의 분해로 평가하였다. JNK의 활성도는 in vitro immuno complex kinase 방법과 내인성 c-Jun의 인산화로 측정하였다. 각종 단백의 발현은 Western 분석으로 평가하였다. JNK1과 GSK-$3{\beta}$의 과발현은 각각 plasmid vector와 adenovirus vector를 이용하였다. 결 과 : PS-341 처치로 아포프토시스에 의한 세포생존율의 감소가 관찰되었다. PS-341 처치로 JNK가 활성화되었고, c-Jun의 발현이 유도되었다. Dominant negative JNK1의 과발현 또는 SP600125 전치치로 JNK의 활성화를 차단하면 PS-341에 의한 아포프토시스가 억제되었다. PS-341 처리로 JNK 활성화에 의존적으로 caspase 3의 활성화가 유도되었다. Caspase 활성화의 차단으로도 PS-341에 의한 아포프토시스가 억제되었다. PS-341에 의해 Akt가 활성화되었고, Akt 활성화의 차단으로 PS-341에 의한 아포프토시스가 심화되었다. PS-341에 의한 Akt 활성화로 GSK-$3{\beta}$가 불활성화되었다. Constitutively active GSK-$3{\beta}$의 과발현으로 PS-341에 의한 아포프토시스가 심화되었고, dominant negative GSK-$3{\beta}$의 과발현으로 PS-341에 의한 아포프토시스가 감소되었다. Lithium chloride 전처치와 dominant negative GSK-$3{\beta}$의 과발현으로 PS-341에 의한 JNK의 활성화와 c-Jun의 발현 증가가 억제되었다. 결 론 : 폐암세포주에서 PS-341에 의한 아포프토시스는 JNK/caspase 경로가 관여하며, 이는 PI3K/Akt 경로를 통한 GSK-$3{\beta}$의 불활성화에 의해 억제되는 것으로 판단된다. 따라서 PS-341의 항암효과를 최대화하기 위해서는 PI3K/Akt 경로를 통한 GSK-$3{\beta}$의 불활성화를 차단하는 치료법이 병행되어야 할 것으로 판단된다. Background : PS-341 is a novel, highly selective and potent proteasome inhibitor, which showed cytotoxicity against some tumor cells. Its anti-tumor activity has been suggested to be associated with modulation of the expression of apoptosis-associated proteins, such as p53, $p21^{WAF/CIP1}$, $p27^{KIP1}$, NF-${\kappa}B$, Bax and Bcl-2. c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK) and glycogen synthase kinase-$3{\beta}$ (GSK-$3{\beta}$) are important modulators of apoptosis. However, their role in PS-341-induced apoptosis is unclear. This study was undertaken to elucidate the role of JNK and GSK-$3{\beta}$ in the PS-341-induced apoptosis in lung cancer cells. Method : NCI-H157 and A549 cells were used in the experiments. The cell viability was assayed using the MTT assay and apoptosis was evaluated by proteolysis of PARP. The JNK activity was measured by an in vitro immuno complex kinase assay and by phosphorylation of endogenous c-Jun. The protein expression was evaluated by Western blot analysis. Dominant negative JNK1 (DN-JNK1) and GSK-$3{\beta}$ were overexpressed using plasmid and adenovirus vectors, respectively. Result : PS-341 reduced the cell viability via apoptosis, activated JNK and increased the c-Jun expression. Blocking of the JNK activation by overexpression of DN-JNK1, or pretreatment with SP600125, suppressed the apoptosis induced by PS-341. The activation of caspase 3 was mediated by JNK activation. Blocking of the caspase 3 activation suppressed PS-341-induced apoptosis. PS-341 activated the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K)/Akt pathway, but its blockade enhanced the PS-341-induced cell death via apoptosis. GSK-$3{\beta}$ was inactivated by PS-341 via the PI3K/Akt pathway. Overexpression of constitutively active GSK-$3{\beta}$ enhanced PS-341-induced apoptosis; in contrast, this was suppressed by dominant negative GSK-$3{\beta}$ (DN-GSK-$3{\beta}$). Inactivation of GSK-$3{\beta}$ by pretreatment with lithium chloride or the overexpression of DN-GSK-$3{\beta}$ suppressed both the JNK activation and c-Jun up-regulation induced by PS-341. Conclusion : The JNK/caspase pathway is involved in PS-341-induced apoptosis, which is negatively regulated by the PI3K/Akt-mediated inactivation of GSK-$3{\beta}$ in lung cancer cells.

ROBOTC기반 LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT 로봇을 이용한 교육과정 개발 및 교육효과 분석

본 논문에서는 대학생 대상의 ROBOTC 기반 레고 마인드스톰 NXT 로봇을 이용한 교육과정 개발 내용을 보이고, 이 과정에 대한 교육효과를 분석하였다. 교육과정은 로봇의 기본 이해와 실습, 응용로봇 실습, 창의로봇 설계 및 구현으로 구성하였다. 2009년부터 3년간 교육을 진행하는 동안, 6개 분반 총 94명의 수강생을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 교육효과를 분석하였다. 분석 결과를 통해 레고 마인드스톰 NXT 로봇을 이용한 교육과정이 학습동기와 학습의욕을 불러 일으켰고, 학생들의 교과목 교육목표 및 학습성과 달성도가 우수하였음을 보인다. 또한 학생들의 수업 및 과제물 수행에 대한 참여도가 매우 높았으며, 문제해결능력과 창의력 향상에 도움을 주었고, 조별 프로젝트 수행으로 협동심도 향상되었다. 마지막으로 ROBOTC기반 프로그래밍에 의한 로봇 제어 실습으로 C언어 프로그래밍 능력 향상에도 도움을 준 것으로 나타났다. In this paper, we show how a curriculum using LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT robot based ROBOTC for undergraduate students has been developed, and we analyze the educational effect of the curriculum. The curriculum is composed of basic knowledge learning, practice with basic robots, practice with advanced robots, and creative design and implementation of robots. During the three year period since 2009, educational achievement has been analyzed by surveys for 6 classes, 94 students. According to the analysis, the curriculum has highly motivated the students and made them to achieve effectively our educational and academic goals. Also, we observe that the curriculum helped the students to improve their creativity and the problem solving skill, and that the students were autonomously and deeply involved in the homework and the term projects, which made them be very cooperative. Finally, the intensive practice with ROBOTC programming is shown to help students to improve their programming ability of C language.

기록되기 전엔 알 수 없는 것들

재현은 존재를 인식하는 것부터 시작하고, 기록은 존재의 인식을 가능하게 하는 수단이 된다는 점에서 상호 순환적이다. 인식되지 못하는 존재는 기록이 없고, 그나마의 기록은 왜곡되며, 왜곡된 표상이 대상을 대표하면서 비가시성을 심화한다. 말하지 못하고 재현되지 못하는 존재를 스피박(Spivak)은 서발턴(Subaltern)으로 명명한다. 이 글은 식당여성노동자에 대한 공공기록과 언론보도, 연구물 등을 살펴 그들 기록이 가진 서발턴적 특징과 한계를 밝히고, 서발턴의 기록화를 위해서 고민해야할 지점과 구체적인 역할을 제안한다. 시대와 사회를 담지한 개체이자, 차이적 존재로서 사람 자체가 온전히 기록되어 재현 가능성을 높일 수 있다면, 기록이 가지는 설명책임성은 기관을 넘어 시대와 사회로 확장되고, 개인과 공동체는 정치적 주체로 세워지는 계기가 될 것이다. Representation of an entity starts with recognition of its existence, and recording is mutually circular in that it acts as a means to enable the recognition of the existence. No record is left on an unrecognized entity, record is distorted if any, and the distorted reproduction represents the entity, reinforcing its invisibility. Spivak describes those who cannot speak on their own and cannot be represented as subaltern. This paper examines public record, the media and research records of female restaurant workers, identifies the subaltern characteristics and limitations of their records, and suggests the points to be considered and specific roles required for recording the subalterns. If it is possible to increase the possibility of representation by completely recording a person as an entity that contains the times and society, the accountability of the record to provide an account will extend beyond institutions to the times and society, and individuals and community will be established as political subjects.
