Recently, with the emphasis on the role of publicness, various studies on publicness have been conducted in various areas of society. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to identify trends in ’publicness of public space’ related studies conducted over the last two decades. To understand the contents of the study, we analyzed the frequency of the study by year, keywords in the paper, and subjects of the study. The analysis contents are as follows. First, public-related research has increased rapidly in the mid-2000s and continues steadily. Second, the publicness research perspective is expanding from an urban perspective to a user-centered perspective. Third, the subjects and subjects of the study are being materialized and diversified.

Publicness is a social value that requires empathy and consensus from members of society. Therefore, this study investigated the public awareness of urban public space targeting young people and the elderly with different socio-cultural backgrounds in growth. First, both groups consider strengthening publicness important in improving the quality of life of individuals, the elderly consider more. Second, both groups recognized most effectively the improvement of publicness by improving the physical environment. Third, youth emphasized publicness in space for various activities, and the elderly are important in the residential environment. Fourth, as "health" and "sustainability" have emerged as social values, both groups have recognized "sustainability" as an important factor in publicness.

Periodontal ligament (PDL) is the connective tissue located between the tooth root and alveolar bone. In a previous study, PDLs22 was isolated as a PDL-specific gene by using subtractive hybrid-ization between cultured PDL fibroblasts and gingival fibroblasts. It was also suggested that PDLs22 plays important roles in the development, differentiation and maintenance of periodontal tissues. However, little is known about functional study of PDLs22 using recombinant protein in PDL fibroblast differentiation and periodontium formation. In this study, in order to produce the PDLs22 recombinat protein, PDLs22 expression vector were constructed and expressed its protein in various host cell and temperature conditions. The results were as follows: 1. PDLs22 protein was not strongly expressed In the induction system using pRSET-PDLs22 construct. 2. When the BL21(DE3) pLysS was used as a expression host, PDLS22 protein was strongly ex-pressed in the induction system using pHCEIIBNd-PDLs22 construct. 3. The PDLs22 protein was recognized at a molecular weight of 28 kDa in western blots. 4. Almost of the expressed PDLs22 protein was not soluble and observed like as inclusion body. 5. The protein solubility was not improved after modification of induction time and temperature during PDLs22 protein production. In this study, the system for the PDLs22 protein production was connstructed. However, the re-results suggest that further studies will be needed to produce the considerable amount of PDLs22 re-combinat protein, which can use for the periodontal regeneration.
황갈색 재래닭의 간에서 성장 단계별 차등 발현 유전자 분석

한국 재래닭에서 성장에 따른 유전자들의 발현 변화를 알아보고 성장 촉진, 대사 및 면역 관련 유전자를 발굴하기 위하여 주령별로 닭의 간에서 RNA를 추출하였으며 10개의 arbitrary ACPs를 이용하여 차등 발현되는 유전자를 조사하였다. 발현량에 현저한 차이를 보이는 5개의 유전자들이 선별되었으며, 이 중 3개의 유전자들은 BLAST search 결과 이미 기능이 알려진 FTH1, SAA와 HSP90B1으로 밝혀졌다. 그러나 2개의 유전자들은 닭의 genome sequence가 끝났음에도 불구하고 기능이 밝혀져 있지 않아 앞으로 이 유전자들의 기능에 대한 연구가 지속되어야 함을 의미한다. 본 연구에서 닭의 간에서 성장 단계별로 발현 차이를 보이는 유전자들은 앞으로 다른 유전자와 단백질들과의 관계를 통하여 닭의 성장 및 지방 대사를 이해하는데 도움을 줄 것으로 사료된다. The chicken liver has been involved in various biological functions including detoxification, glycogen storage and plasma protein synthesis. The aim of this study was to investigate differentially expressed genes in chicken liver in four different growing stages. Using 10 arbitrary Annealing Control Primers (ACPs), five differentially expressed genes have been identified. Based on the Basic Local Alignment Search Tool (BLAST) search results, three of them were matched with previously known genes, and the other two were matched with unknown EST sequence and a hypothetical protein, respectively. In order to confirm the expression results, quantitative real-time PCR was also performed. The high similarities between the expression data using arbitrary ACPs and quantitative real-time PCR indicate that the identified genes are the real differentially expressed genes in different growing stages. The genes identified in this study can be used as valuable biomarkers in chicken with further investigation of the functions.

Tarak is our own traditional fermented milk made through lactic acid fermentation by using makgeolli as inoculum for milk or using already made tarak as inoculum but it is hardly known to people as its related studies are also insufficient. Accordingly, the purpose of this study was to manufacture jelly by using tarak and analyze its quality characteristics for the diversification of consumption promotion and demand of traditional fermented milk tarak. Tarak jelly that was made according to the percentage of adding tarak showed a tendency that the content of crue protein, crude fat and crude ash except for moisture water meaningfully increased as the amount of tarak added increased (P<0.05). In the case of pH, it declines as the amount of tarak added was high. The chromaticity measurement result of tarak jelly was 54.32 in the case of control group for L, and it increased as the amount of tarak added increased. In the case of a, it decreased as tarak was added, whereas b meaningfully increased. There was meaningful difference between samples in the case of chewiness, fracturability and adhesiveness (p<0.05). The sensory test result showed that there was meaningful difference between samples in their appearance and taste but there was no meaningful difference in the case of overall preference, scent and texture.
자율주행자동차를 위한 임의측정경로 제공 LIDAR 연구개발

These days, Smart Car Technology became the center of common interest for car industry companies, especially using that: Autonomous Driving & ADAS(Advanced Driver Assistance System). In order to drive autonomous, it is needed ahead that to read surroundings using sensors attached on car, moreover to search proper ways, to defect obstacles for avoiding, and to communicate with other cars on the key informations such as establishing safe distance, all those after automatically. For ADAS, likewise, it is also needed to sense environments using those attachment on car, then notice the driver or turn some control devices to prevent and to avoid an accident. This study is for LIDAR(Light Detection And Ranging) on the Autonomous Driving Car, which is necessary for reading environments. To solve the problem from the fixed laser discharge angle and measurement path of the prior model, laser angle was freely picked and controlled for produce free path for minimize blind spots, enhance measuring for specific location, and also lower the necessity of the additional sensors.

Field surveys were conducted at a total of 50 locations targeting naturalized plants on Ulleung-do. A total of 109 taxa were identified, including the list of naturalized plants in the preceding literature. The naturalized plants of Ulleung-do had a high proportion of Asteraceae, which appeared frequently in the habitat of the ruderal type. There were no naturalized plants that settled only on Ulleung-do, and all naturalized plants found on Ulleung-do first settled on the Korean Peninsula. This was proved by the high rates of epecophyten (90.8%) and the introduction period 2nd (70.6%). On the other hand, among ecosystem-disturbing species that have a great influence in the inland of the Korean Peninsula, Hypochaeris radicata and Rumex acetosella appeared in a limited area in Ulleung-do. On the other hand, Lapsana communis appeared in high density along the forest edge, requiring management of naturalized plants different from those in the Korean Peninsula. Naturalized plants on Ulleung-do showed a rapid increase in the 1990s after increased academic research, coastal road development, and other development projects. This highlights the necessity for continuous research on the pattern of naturalized plant occurrence after the completion of the Ulleung Airport, which is currently under construction.
