        휴대방송에서 나타난 방송자막 디자인 개선 방향

        본 연구는 현재 지상파 DMB의 방송자막에 대한 사용자들의 인식을 파악하여, 향후 방송자막 디자인 개선 방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 먼저 방송자막에 대한 기존 연구들을 고찰하였다. 그 결과 프로그램 시청 시 방송자막이 중요한 역할을 하며, 글자 수의 최소화, 명료성을 높이는 글자체와 색상의 배열, 구성 요소의 재배치가 방송자막의 가독성을 높이는 주요 요소로 파악되었다. 그러나 실제 지상파 DMB 사용자들을 대상으로 설문 조사를 한 결과 화질, 화면 구성, 색상 및 명암 등에서 긍정적인 평가가 낮았다. 또한 방송자막의 가독성, 정보의 전달, 자막 구성, 글자체, 글자 수 및 글자 크기 등의 평가에서는 더욱 부정적인 것으로 나타났다. 앞으로 방송자막 형태 및 구성, 정보량의 제한, 글자의 선명성 및 크기, 색상 배치 및 선명성 등에서 지상파 DMB 화면에 적합하고, 사용자의 편이성을 고려한 자막 디자인의 개발이 절실히 요청된다. This research aimed at providing the direction for future improvement of broadcast subtitle design by identifying the user perception on broadcast subtitles of Terrestrial DMB. First, we contemplated on the existing research about broadcast subtitles. As a result, we found out that broadcast subtitle plays an essential role when watching a program and that the minimization of letters, clear fonts and color arrangement, rearrangement of components were identified as main factors that increase readability. However, the terrestrial DMB user evaluation on image quality, composition, color and brightness was not that positive. In addition, the evaluation on the readability of broadcast subtitle, information transmission, subtitle composition, letter font, number and size of letter was more negative. Developing a subtitle design which considers user convenience and suits terrestrial DMB screens in aspects of broadcast subtitle form and composition, limit of information, clearness and size of the letter is required.

        IEEE 802.15.4a에서는 첩(Chirp)신호을 이용한 UWB(Ultra Wide Band) 시스템으로서 DBO(Differential Bi-Orthogonal)-CSS(Chirp Spread Spectrum) 기술을 선택적 표준안으로 정하였다. 기존 DBO-CSS에서는 다중 피코넷 간섭(MPI; Multiple Piconets Interference)을 피하기 위하여 각 피코넷 별로 Different Time-Gap을 할당하고 있다 하지만 완벽한 직교성이 존재하지 않는다는 특성을 가지고 있어서 간섭의 영향에 민감할 수 밖에 없고, 무선통신시스템의 성능 저하를 야기시킨다. 본 논문에서는 각 피코넷 별로 보다 완전한 직교성을 확보하기 위하여, 확산코드기법을 적용한 CSS 변복조 알고리즘을 제안하고, 또한 일정한 시간 구간동안 연속적인 직교특성을 가지는 이진 ZCD(Zero Correlation Duration) 코드를 사용하여 BER(Bit Error Rate) 성능 분석을 통해 SOP(Simultaneously Operating Piconets) 환경에서 다중 피코넷 간섭 등의 영향을 효과적으로 제거함을 확인하였다.

        생태계 관점에서의 문화콘텐츠 산업 구성 및 구조

        문화콘텐츠는 본래 다양한 콘텐츠 생산자와 유통·소비에 이르는 사이클을 가지고 있는 분야이다. 이러한 사이클 안에는 문화콘텐츠 생태계를 구성하는 다양한 개체 요소들이 포함되어 있고 이들 개체들 간의 조화로운 관계의 모색이 중요한 이슈가 되고 있다. 문화콘텐츠분야에 대한 생태계적 관점의 접근은 최근 관심의 확대는 물론 관점 적용에서 오는 유용성에도 불구하고 본격적으로 시도되지 않은 분야이며, 따라서 문화콘텐츠 생태계를 구성하고 있는 개체 요소의 미확인은 물론 개체간의 상호 작용 원리, 개체별 발전방안, 생태계를 구성하고 있는 모든 개체의 공통적 발전을 이루는 공진화의 원리 등 생태계 내부 및 그 작용에 대한 구체적인 논의가 없는 상태이다. 때문에 본 연구에서는 생태계와 사회과학의 제 분야에서 연구되어 온 생태계 모델을 통해 문화콘텐츠 생태계를 구성하고 있는 개체 요소의 확인, 그리고 각 개체들간의 상호 작용 및 개체 각각은 물론 전체 생태계의 발전 방향에 대해 모색해 보고자 한다. The cultural contents are a field that originally has a cycle ranged from producers of various contents and distribution consumption. The various object elements composing of an ecosystem of cultural contents in this cycle, and the search of harmonious relations between these objects is becoming an important issue. The ecological approach on the cultural contents field is not being tried authentically until now, in spite of the expansion of interest and usefulness from its application at present, so there is no detailed discussion on the inside of an ecosystem and its action such as confirmation of object elements composing of the ecosystem, interaction principles between objects and object development, principles of co-evolution, etc. achieving common development of all objects composing of the ecosystem. Therefore, the present research aims to confirm object elements composing of the ecosystem of cultural contents through an ecosystem model that has been researched in several fields of the ecosystem and social science, and to seek interaction between objects and each object as well as a development direction of a total ecosystem.

        문화콘텐츠 관련 연구에 대한 메타분석: 연구 분야, 목적, 방법을 중심으로

        본 연구에서는 2001년 이후 괄목할만한 연구 성과를 축적하고 있는 문화콘텐츠학 분야의 연구 경향을 살펴보고자 하는 연구목적에서 시작되었다. 이를 위해 2001년부터 최근까지 국내 학술 등재지 및 등재 후보지에 실린 문화콘텐츠 관련 연구를 사회과학적 메타분석을 통해 분석해보았다. 분석은 문화콘텐츠 관련 연구의 학문적 배경, 연구목적, 연구방법에 초점을 두었다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 문화콘텐츠 연구에 참여하고 있는 분야는 매우 다양한 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 인문학 분야의 참여가 가장 활발한 것으로 분석됐다. 둘째, 문화콘텐츠 관련 연구는 실용적 목적으로 수행되는 경우가 많으나, 순수 학문적 목적을 가진 연구도 점차 증대하고 있다. 셋째, 문화콘텐츠 관련 연구에 특정한 연구 방법론이 집중적으로 사용되고 있어 아직은 다양한 방법론의 적용이 시도되지 못하고 있다. 또한 기존전통적 장르와 변화와 통합에 따른 새로운 장르간의 관계 정립이 필요하며, 단일한 통합된 분야로서 문화콘텐츠학의 정립을 고려할 필요가 있다. 이를 위해 각각의 세부 영역에서 기여해야 할 요소를 찾아 통합된 개념으로서 문화콘텐츠학의 발전을 추구해야 할 것이다. This paper is purposed to study the research trend in cultural contents research field which has made remarkable results since 2001. All the papers published in Korean academic journals from 2001 were analyzed with the method of meta analysis. The research is targeted on three parts; the academic backgrounds of the papers, the research purpose, and methods used in the studies. The results are as follows; First, researchers from various academic fields are working on, especially Humanities have shown the most active participation. Second, the purposes of the studies are mostly for pragmatic usage, but studies for only academic purposes are increasing in recent days. Third, methods used in the studies are skewed. It is necessary to study cultural contents in various viewpoint and research method. The traditional roles of the classical genres such movies, music, broadcasting should be redefined and integrated to cultural contents in a holistic way. We now have enough reasons to consider establishing the cultural content not only as application and instrumental use, but as a goal and consolidated concept.

      • 심체학습에 대한 학습세무단계 제시 및 비디오를 통한 환류효과에 관한 연구

        This study is intended to explore the relationships which may exist between the characteristics of a psychomotor learning, juggling with three racket balls and instructional treatments. One of the instructional treatments employed for the study was a step-step guideline of juggling with three racket balls and the other treatment was the videotaping of individual learner's practicing behavior. The former was presented to subjects at the beginning of learning session as a prereponse material. The latter was used as a feedback to juggling behavior. Four male freshmen of the Seoul National Polytechnic University were selected and each subject was treated differently from one another. All the subject had served in the army for three years and their age ranged from 25 to 26. The entry levels of all the subjects were considered same with regard to aptitude and ability in juggling with three racket balls. The experiment lasted for 7 days. Each subject was asked to practice 30 minutes each day under the same given condition. The results of study show that subject treated with instructional guideline as a preresponse material performed better than their counterparts. Subjects treated either with instructional guideline alone or with videotaping alone performed better than the subject who not instructionally treated. Subject whose behaviors were videotaped and reviewed their motions through video showed relatively better hand and body posture and tossed balls to the right spot more frequently at the end of the experiment, as compared to non-videotaped subjects. Findings of the study suggest that in juggling with three racket balls,1) rehearal speed will gradually increase until movement accuracy is obtained ;2) speed accuracy methodology is more efficient instructional treatment than is the accuracy-speed methodology; and 3) videotaping of movements belongs to the extrinsic feedback and is very helpful for self-evaluation as well as behavior modification

      • 학습영역의 Taxonomy에 기초한 CD-ROM Title의 효과분석

        Multimedia technology is gradually being expanded due to the rapidly developing computer technology. Today learners are attracted to the interactive learning method to which multimedia technologies are applied so that students' needs toward using multimedia deliver such earning situation where difficulties in transferring learned knowledge to actual working situation could be reduced noticeably. The hypotheses established on the basis of Bloom's taxonomy were tested to find out the effectiveness and efficiency of using CD ROM Title in learning nonlinear digital editing. Both experimental and control group were established and tested for the study. 30 technical high school students were assigned to experimental group where subjects studied nonlinear editing with the CD ROM Title whereas 30 technical high school students were assigned to the control group where no experimental treatments were given. The results of the study indicate that 1) subjects of the experimental group achieved higher in knowledge acquisition , comprehension and analysis as compared to their counterparts: and 2) subjects of the experimental group showed better attitude in some affective learning such as receiving and response as compared to their counterparts.

      • 직업훈련 기술이론교육에 대한 겹치기 투시화의 효과 : Benjamin Bloom의 학습목표별 장기 성취도를 중심으로

        This research study examined the effects of overlapped transparencies to a technical theory course offered by Korean vocational training institute. The underlying assumption of the study was that efficient utilization of overlapped transparencies would enhance the achievement of various educational objectives classified by Benjamin Bloom on the basis of long -term store (LTS). The objectives that were chosen to be achieved by both experimental group and control group include teminology, drawing, identification, extrapolation, comprehension and synthesis. A total of 65 students who had just entered the vocational institute were assigned for the experiment. 41 out of 65 students were assigned to the experimental group and the rest were assigned to the control group. The entry levels of experimental group students were lower than those of control group .The entry levels of experimental group students were lower than those of control group students. Therefore the analysis of covariance was done in order to compare the degree of achievement between experimental group and control group by eliminating the influence brought by difference in entry behavior of subjects. The results of the study indicate that 1) in LTS the achievement in terminology and synthesis were significantly higher for the experimental group than for the control group, and 2) in LTS the achievement in drawing, identification, comprehension and extrapolation were not significantly higher for experimental group as compared to those of control group. The results of this study also show that achievements of educational objectives were different from those in STS. This may be explained by the theory in which without rehearsal the contents retained in short-term store (STS) will decay as time goes by or won't be transferred to long-term store(LTS).

      • CAI 학습자 특성별 피드백 유형에 관한 연구

        Feedback is a valuable mechanism that can be applied to interaction between computer as a teacher and its users, so called learners of CAL. This study has attempted to explore underlying assumptions that may be the foundation of hypothesizing interaction between learner traits and feedback type. One dimension of such assumptions has been developed in regard to vertical difference in learner traits. In this respect, learner traits have been searched mostly by following cognitive development theory of J. Piaget. The other dimension was developed through this study in regard to differences on horizontal basis. In this aspect, examined were traits of three CAI learning groups such as illiterati. literati who possess only basic 3R skills, and average adults whose literacy level is relatively high enough to adapt to the rapid changes of modern society.

      • 진로 탐색을 위한 Web Based Instruction의 접근 방향 연구 : 21세기 미디어 공학의 진로를 중심으로

        This study is intended to explore the right career types of Holland's for media techbology students. Holland presented six types of career development types including realistic(R), investigative(I), artistic(A), enterprising(E), social(S), and conventional(C). Holland asserted one out of above six types or combination of more than one type out of six fits to a particular working environment. Students of media technology recently face the drastically changing working environment in which analog media have been overwhelmed by digital media. The dominant power of digital media pushes technical people in media field from realistic(R) to combination of realistic(R) and artistic(A) working conditions whereas pushing artistic(A) and social (S) people into combination of artistic (A) and social (S) with realistic(R) environments. To cope with such an unanticipated changing surroundings, it's necessary to outgrow traditional instructional method at present and quickly adopt internet and web based instruction (WBI) in which cooperative learning, self-directed learning as well as individualized learning can be fully activated, to bring forth creative individual workers in media fields.

Therefore, if is no longer legitimate to expect all students to achieve mastery over the same instructional materials in the same amount of time. The educational cognitive style (ECS) is a concept for describing an individual's mode of behavior in searching for meaning. This study explores the ways of matching the educational cognitive style (ECS) and mode of presenting instructional material so as to maximize the learning efficiency.
