HDDR treated anisotropic Nd-Fe-B powders have been widely used, due to their excellent magnetic properties, especially for sheet motors and sunroof motors of hybrid and electric vehicles. Final microstructure and coercivity of such Nd-Fe-B powders depend on the state of starting mother alloys, so additional homogenization treatment is required for improving magnetic properties of them. In this study, a homogenization treatment was performed at $900\sim1140^{\circ}C$ in order to control the grain size and Nd-rich phase distribution, and at the same time to improve coercivity of the HDDR treated magnetic powders. FE-SEM was used for observing grain size of the HDDR treated powder and EPMA was employed to observe distribution of Nd-rich phase. Magnetic properties were analyzed with a vibrating sample magnetometer.
온열치료용 SiO<sub>2</sub>/Fe<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub> 나노복합입자의 제조와 특성

The magnetic heating effect of $SiO_2$coated $ \Upsilon-Fe_2$$O_3$nanocomposite particle due to magnetic relaxational loss of superparamagnetic regime was investigated by measuring the generated heat from nanocomposite particles in alternative applied magnetic fields. The commercial $ \Upsilon-Fe_2$$O_3$nanoparticles were coated by SiO$_2$in water solution with TEOS and the synthesized nanocomposite powders and its magnetic properties were characterized and compared with the raw$ \Upsilon-Fe_2$$O_3$nanoparticles. The 10∼30 nm sized $ \Upsilon-Fe_2$$O_3$. nanoparticles were coated by 5 nm thickness of amorphous $SiO_2$film. The nanocomposite particle has very low Mr and Hc value showing superparamagnetic behavior The magnetic heating effect of nanocomposite particle on surface coating phase of $SiO_2$was discussed in terms of superparamagnetic behaviors of each particles, and their potential for hyperthermia application was evaluated.
볼밀링한 Bi-Te-Sb계 분말의 열전특성에 관한 연구

The p-type semiconductor $Bi_2Te_3-Sb_2Te_3$ thermoelectric materials were fabricated by melting, milling and sintering process and their thermoelectric properties were characterized. The compound materials were ball-milled with milling time and the powders were sintered by spark plasma sintering process. The ball milled powders had equiaxial shape and approedmately $1\~3{\mu}m$ in size. The figure of meritz of sintered thermoelectric materials decreased with milling time because of lowered electrical resistivity. The thermoelectric properties of $Bi_2Te_3-Sb_2Te_3$ materials have been discussed in terms of electrical property with ball mill process.
화학기상응축 반응기 내부의 유동해석을 통한 $TiO_2$ 나노분말의 형성과정에 관한 연구

Using the residence time calculated by computer simulation for temperature and gas velocity distribution in CVC reactor, the kinetics on the formation of $TiO_2$ nano powder was analyzed for coagulation process, After abrupt increase of particle size at initial growth stage (< 0.2 $\mus$ ), the particle grew in proportion of cubic root to time. The numerically calculated particle sizes well agreed with the experimental results. However, the coarse rutile $TiO_2$ powders having the particle size of over 40 nm were formed on the surface of quratz rod in the reactor. it is thought that the fine anatase particles condensed on quratz rod were sintered in a heated CVC reactor to grow and transform to coarse rutile phase, and the critical size for phase transformation anstase-to-rutile was around 25 nm tn this study.

The gynecologists are the primary care physician to women and the breast is an organ of reproduction and reproductive hormones are the most important factors for breast cancer. Therefore it seems logical to accept the position that diseases of the breast are the responsibility of the gynecologists. The breast examination is a part of the through gynecologic examination and the knowledge of the contemporary treatment of breast diseases is an essential components of the current practice of gynecology. In addition to history and physical examination, the gynecologist should be prepared to understand certain diagnostic studies. It seems a logical step that breast cancer patients will be treated by a multidisciplinary team, in which the gynecologist will also take part.
