niversal Soil Loss Equation (USLE) is suggested and employed in the policy to conserve soil resources and to manage the impact of development,since soil loss is very essential to nonpoint source pollution management. The equation requires only five factors to estimate average annual potentialsoil loss, USLE is simplicity provides benefits in use of the equation. However, it is also limitation of the model, since the estimated results are verysensitive to the five factors. There is a need to examine the application procedures. Three approaches to estimate potential soil loss were examined,In the first approach, all factors were prepared with raster data, soil loss were computed for each cell, and sum of all cell values was determined assoil loss for the watersheds. In the second approach, the mean values for each factor were defined as representing USLE factors, and then the fivefactors were multiplied to determine soil loss for the watersheds. The third approach was same as the second approach, except that the Vegetative andMechanical measure was used instead of the Cover and management factor and Support practice factor. The approaches were applied in 38 watersheds,they displayed significant difference, moreover no trends were detected for the soil loss at watersheds with the approaches. Therefore, it was concludedthat there is a need to be developed and provided a typical guideline or public systems so that soil loss estimations have consistency with the users.

Cyclophosphamide is alkylating agent used in the treatment of various solid tumors. Mucosal irritation by acrolein, the metabolite of cyclophosphamide, is believed to cause various symptoms of cystitis. The thiol compound, sodium 2-mercaptoethane sulfonate(Mesna), has been found to inactivate acrolein. We present an unusual case of a 64-year-old woman, who was treated as chronic cystitis. Her symptoms did not improve, so she was treated with Mesna under the assumption of cyclophosphamide induced cystitis; her symptoms then improved.

SATEEC ArcView GIS system was developed using the Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE) and sediment delivery ratio (SDR) modules. In addition, time-variant R and C modules and $R_5$ module were developed and integrated into the SATEEC system in recent years. The SATEEC ArcView GIS 2.1 system is a simple-to-use system which can estimate soil erosion and sediment yield spatially and temporarily using only USLE input data, DEM, and daily rainfall dataset. In this study, the SATEEC 2.1 system was used to evaluate the effects of USLE LS input data considering slope length segmentation on soil erosion and sediment yield estimation. Use of USLE LS with slope length segmentation due to roads in the watershed, soil erosion estimation decreased by 24.70 %. However, the estimated sediment yield using SATEEC GA-SDR matched measured sediment values in both scenarios (EI values of 0.650 and EI 0.651 w/o and w/flow segmentation). This is because the SATEEC GA-SDR module estimates lower SDR in case of greater soil erosion estimation (without flow length segmentation) and greater SDR in case of lower soil erosion estimation (with flow length segmentation). This indicates that the SATEEC soil erosion need to be estimated with care for accurate estimation of SDR at a watershed scale and for accurate evaluation of BMPs in the watershed.
복합토지유역에서의 LID적용에 따른 유출량 저감효과 분석을 위한 SWAT-SWMM 연계모델 개발

Abstract In recent years, urbanization has been a hot issues in watershed management due to increased pollutant loads from impervious urban areas, The Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) model has been widely used in hydrology and water quality studies at watershed scale. However, the SWAT has limitations in simulating water flows between HRUs and hydrological effects of LID practices. The Storm Water Management Model (SWMM) has LID capabilities, but it does not simulate non-urban areas, especially agricultural areas. In this study, a SWAT-SWMM coupled model was developed to evaluate effects of LID practices on hydrology and water quality at mixed-landuse watersheds. This coupled SWAT-SWMM was evaluated by comparing calibrated flow with and without coupled SWAT-SWMM. As a result of this study, the R2 and NSE values with SWAT are 0.951 and 0.937 for calibration period, and 0.882 and 0.875 for validation period, respectively, the R2 and NSE values with SWAT-SWMM are 0.877 and 0.880 for validation period. Out of four LID scenarios simulated by SWAT-SWMM model, the green roof scenario was found to be most effective which reduces about 25% of rainfall-runoff flows.
침수위험지역에 대한 저영향개발기법의 적지선정 및 경제성 분석

도시화에 따른 토지이용패턴의 변화로 불투수면적이 증가하여 빗물의 침투량이 감소하고, 유출량은 증가하는 등 집중호우시 침수피해를 야기하게 된다. 또한 오염원의 증가로 수질오염과 지하수고갈에 따른 건천화 등 부정적 효과를 초래하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 최근 기후변화에 따라 물순환 체계가 변화하고 있으며, 이로 인해 도시의 홍수 및 가뭄이 극심해지고 시민의 삶의 질도 위협받고 있다. 우리나라의 경우 지속적으로 도시화 및 불투수면적이 증가하고 있으며, 집중호우의 발생빈도 또한 높아 심각한 수자원 물재와 홍수피해위험이 높다. 이에 도시의 물환경 변화 및 왜곡된 물순환 체계를 지속가능하도록 개선해야 할 필요성이 제기되었다. 환경부 및 국토부 등 정부기관에서는 물환경지속가능성을 위하여 저영향개발 기술요소를 도입하고 적용하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 침수위험지역의 저영향개발기법을 도입하여 유출저감 효과를 모의하고, 경제성 분석을 하였다. 본 연구의 대상지역은 경상남도 김해시 안동지구이며, 면적 364.2ha, 투수층면적 160.7ha, 불투수층면적 203.5ha로 불투수율은 55.90%로 산정되었다. 대상지역인 안동지구 우수관로현황 조사 결과 (30년빈도 강우강도 적용) 관로의 통수능 검토시 전체관로 26.97km 중 통수능 부족관로는 15.60km로 전체대비 약 57.8%로 나타났다. 안동지구 내 우수관거는 간선관로의 경우 10년빈도, 지선관로의 경우 5년빈도로 설계, 시공되어 있으므로 각종 공단이 입지한 시가지인 안동지구는 도로포장등으로 인해 불투수층이 대부분을 차지해, 강우시 도로표면 유출수의 증대로 침수피해가 가중되는 것으로 판단되었다. 이에 저영향개발기법을 적용하여 맨홀로 유입되는 직접유출(DCIA, Directly Connected Impervious Area)를 줄이고, 유지관리 등을 고려하여 경제성을 평가하여 향후 침수위험지구 관거개량시 저영향개발기법을 활용할 수 있도록 하고자 한다.
토양유실량 및 유사량 산정시 지형 입력 자료의 영향 평가

With accelerated soil erosions at the watershed, many computer models have been develoed and utilized for various purposes in recent years. The Universal Soil Loss Equation(USLE) and USLE-based soil erosion and sediment modelling system have been developed and tested because of its ease-of-use and readily available data sets in many countries. The Sediment Assessment Tool for Effective Erosion Control(SATEEC) system was one of these models. In this study, The SATEEC system ver 2.1 and ArcGIS Tool were used to evaluate effects of topographic factors on soil erosion estimation by adjusting values by ±50%. With these changes, there was 24.8% change in estimated soil erosion values. However, the R2 and the Nash-sutcliffe coefficient were 0.688 and 0.642, respectively. Similar trends were also found for estimated sediment yield values. These results indicated that the soil erosion values at the field levels should be evaluated first prior to its application at the watershed scale with the SATEEC system.
