Analysis of Field-Aligned Currents in the High-Altitude Nightside Auroral Region: Cluster Observation

In this paper we present analysis of current density when the Cluster spacecraft pass the nightside auroral region at about 4-5 R_E from the center of Earth. The analysis is made when the inter-spacecraft separation is within 200 km, which allows all four spacecraft to be situated inside the same current sheet. On 22 February 2002, two field-aligned current (FAC) events were observed in both the southern and the northern hemispheres. The FACs were calculated with magnetic field data obtained by the four spacecraft using the Curlometer method. The scales of the FACs along the spacecraft trajectory and the magnitudes were hundreds of kilometers and tens of nA/m^2, respectively, and both events were mapped to the auroral region in the ionosphere. We also examined reliability of the results with some parameters, and found that our results are adequately comparable with other studies. Nevertheless, some limitations that decrease the accuracy of current estimation exist.

The purpose of this research is to obtain the characteristics of heat transfer or heat exchange under the vacuum pressure. The general heat transfer or heat exchange can be changed with the experimental environment. In this report, the exothermic calorie and endothermic calorie were measured under the vacuum chamber. These two kinds of calories show the evaporative and condensing sides, respectively, and these calories were measured by using the parameter with flow rate.

장르에 따른 인터뷰 담화 대조 연구: 뉴스 인터뷰와 예능 인터뷰를 중심으로

This study reveals how interview discourses embodied in higher-level genres vary according to the discourse purpose and institutionalization level. Specifically, it analyzes episodes of news briefing and the entertainment program Hope Song at Noon, discussing street dance craze. Questions and answers dominated the discourse following the interview structure of news programs. The structure of questions and answers was accompanied by entertainment program talks. Regarding the characteristics of the interview questions and discourse, the news program delivered information as a social issue, while the entertainment program focused on interactions with dancers and entertainment activities. Thus, news programs shape discourse along a social dimension, while entertainment programs highlight individuals’ attractiveness and influence. Further, while news program viewers speak in a limited manner, listeners directly and actively participate in interview discourses in entertainment programs, which are embodied through language choices. Here, news programs employ formal language and normative and comprehensive vocabulary, and entertainment programs use every day and colloquial language and entertainment-specific vocabulary. This observation is significant as it examines entertainmentization of information and the informatization of entertainment.

The consequences are summarized in the following. 1. The period coexist in Chinese characters, mixed Korean and Chinese characters, Korean characters. The conservatives who were against civilization were in favor of Chinese characters, the civilized moderatists influenced by Japan is for the mixed use of Korean and Chinese characters, and the progressive civilized people influenced by America is for the use of Korean characters. At the former half period(1866-1894), the mixed of Korean and Chinese characters coexist with Korean characters. But, the Korean characters appear on the stage as the representative writing system in the latter half period(1894-1910) because of the civilized people's gaining power. As Korean characters is used as a means of civilizing people and missionary work, the discussion is opened and gradually the study of Korean characters begins. 2. The rhyme transcription supported by Ji, Seok Young(池錫永)(1896) as tonal mark in Huminjongum(訓民正音) substitute for pitch and rhythm is not practiced none the less for his restorative effort. Only this is written in his books. The transcription of juncture which have origin in Ri, Bong Un's the truth of Korean(『국문졍리』) is written in textbook of the Ministry of Education and Korean Grammar(『國語文法』) of Ju, Shi Gyong(周時經). Mainly, a dot mark representative of the transcription of juncture is used as a phrase-clausal unit in the mixed Korean and Chinese characters and Eojeol a unit(어절단위) in the Korean characters. But the dot mark is not activated according to the advent of spacing words. The spacing words begins for the first time in transliterating Korean into English and come into existence in the Westener's books written in Korean. As a consequence, the spacing words make appearance in Park, Young Hyo's(朴泳孝) Hwasagilyak(和使記略) and a weekly magazine of Hansung(漢城週報) at the former half period in Gvilization(1866-1894). But a full-scale use of spacing words is not used until a paper of Tongnip(독립신문) founded in 1897. After that time, the spacing words gradually make appearance in many papers and textbooks as a spacing unit and phrase-clause in Korean characters. 3. In conclusion, the writing system in the Civilization period is characteristic of an eclectic system according to a transitional period from the ancient to modern society. As a result, the two systems are extant. The progressive theory of the writing system is a basis of the Spelling of Korean(『諺文綴字法』) for the elementary school of the Japanese Government-General of Korea(朝鮮總督府) in 1912. The writing system have one's place in the Spelling of(『諺文綴字法』) in 1930. And it is in 1933 that the Korean Language Society(朝鮮語學會) established modern Korean orthography upon its publication of Guide for the Unification of Korean Spelling(한글 맞춤법 통일안). Therefore, the writing system is a basic theory of the current Orthography of Korean. At this point, the writing system of Gvilization is valued remarkably in history.

스트러트 삽입에 의한 이젝터의 효율상승에 관한 연구

The ejector system is used for making a vacuum in an enclosed tank. This research represents the method to improve ejector performance by inserting a strut at the center of ejector outlet. This proposed ejector system is so simple and have a low cost to improve the ejector performance. There are many kinds of method for obtaining a lower vacuum pressure. The ejector is consists of nozzle, straight pipe and outlet diffuser and we focused on the outlet diffuser for high ejector performance. The strut is located at the center of ejector outlet diffuser. As the experimental result, we compared the vacuum pressure with and without a strut and without strut, and the ejector performance showed an improvement with 40% or more than the case without strut. This means that the stable fluid low energy loss was obtained by inserting the strut.
