        다지역산업연관모형을 이용한 식품산업의 지역간 생산 및 소비 연계성 분석

        The purpose of this study is to analyze the structure of inter-regional trade and the inter-regional linkages in production and demand of food industry. We estimated inter-regional demand-demand multipliers as well as inter-regional demand-output multipliers in food industry, and investigated potential complementarities in production and demand of regional food industry. Our analysis shows that inter-regional trade linkages between Seoul metropolitan area and other regions in food industry is much more stronger than those of other regions. The analysis on production multiplier effects shows that Seoul metropolitan area has the largest intra-regional production multiplier effect and Kangwon demonstrates larger inter-regional production multiplier effect. We also found that Seoul metropolitan area and Jeolla region has relatively high inter-regional complementarities in production with many other regions. Seoul metropolitan area also shows high inter-regional complementarities in consumption with many other regions such as Chungcheong, Jeolla, Gyoungnam. Besides Seoul metropolitan area, inter-regional complementarities in consumption between Gyoungnam and Gyoungbuk are also found to be significant.

        파킨슨병 모형 흰쥐의 줄무늬체에서 Apomorphine 투여 방법에 따른 도파민 D2 수용체의 발현

        Objective : Parkinsonian rat models have generally been characterized by unilateral destruction of both the nigrostriatal pathway and the mesolimbic pathway using the neurotoxin 6-hydroxydopamine. The induction of contraversive turning by apomorphine in these models is thought to reflect the stimulation of supersensitive dopamine D2 receptor or receptor-mediated mechanisms in denervated neostriatum. The present study was undertaken to investigate the expression of dopamine D2 receptor in denervated striatum according to modalities of apomorphine(dopamine agonist) treatment after creating a hemiparkinsonian rat model in which there is 6-hydroxydopamine induced destruction of the unilateral dopaminergic nigrostriatal pathway. Methods : After making complete lesion in left side substantia nigra pars compacta(SNpc) by stereotactic injection of 6-hydroxydopamine into medial and lateral areas of SNpc, and confirming successful animal model by apomorphine induced contraversive turning behavior without recovery and complete destruction of ipsilateral SNpc with tyrosine hydroxylase immunostaining in 7th day after operation, 15 rats of parkinsonian model were studied with or without administration of apomorphine at varying doses and durations. According to the modalities of apomorphine treatment for 4 days, these rats were divided into 3 groups, as not-treated group, intermittently treated group and constantly treated group. For investigating the extent of the expression of dopamine D2 receptor in denervated striatum, immunohistochemical staining by dopamine D2 receptor antibody and Western blot were performed. Results : In the D2 receptor antibody immunohistochemical staining, the mean number of positive stained neurons was highest in not-treated group($20.5{\pm}1.14$) of 3 groups. In constantly treated group, the mean number of positive stained neurons was less($3.9{\pm}1.79$) than intermittently treated group(p<0.05). The Western blotting with the D2 receptor antibody revealed that expression of receptors was also highest in not-treated group and less in constantiy treated group than intermittently treated group. Conclusion : Dopamine D2 receptors in denervated striatum of parkinsonian rat models, which were not treated with apomorphine, revealed to be most highly expressed. And, according to doses and durations of apomorphine administration, desensitization of the receptor was more apt to develop with constant treatment than intermittent treatment. In clinical setting, the authors believe that, in long-term treated parkinsonian patients, desensitization of dopamine receptors due to chronic dopaminergic stimulation seems to be partially related to mechanisms of drug tolerance.

        흰쥐 흑질내 수산화도파민 주입으로 유도된 파킨슨병 모델에서 흑질과 선조체의 신경교세포 반응

        Objectives : Parkinson's disease is a well-known neurodegenerative disease characterized by dopaminergic cell death in the substantia nigra. The reactive gliosis by activated astrocytes and microglias is no more regarded as a simple sequel of neuronal cell death. Microglial activation takes place in a stereotypic pattern with graded morphologic and functional(resting, activated and phagocytic) changes. In Parkinson's disease animal model, the degree of microglial activation along the nigro-striatal dopaminergic tract has not been studied intensively. The purpose of this study was to elucidate the characteristics of microglial reaction and to grade its degree of activation at substantia nigra and corpus striatum using 6-hydroxydopamine induced rat model of Parkinson's disease. Methods : Using Sprague-Dawley rat, parkinsonian model was made by 6-hydroxydopamine(OHDA) induced destruction of medial and lateral substantia nigra(SN). The rat was sacrificed 3-, 5-, 7-, 14- and 21-day-after operation. For control group, we injected saline with same manner and sacrificed 3-day after operation. With immunohistochemistry, we examined dopaminergic neuronal cells and microglial expression using tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) and OX-42 antibodies, respectively. Also we performed in situ hybridization for osteopontin, a possible marker of subset in activated microglia. Results : 1) In lesioned side of substantia nigra and corpus striatum, the TH immunoreactivity was markedly decreased in whole experimental groups. 2) Using optical densitometry, microglia induced immunoreactivity of OX-42 was counted at SN and corpus striatum. At SN, it was increased significantly on the lesioned side in control and all time-dependent experimental groups. At striatum, it was increased significantly in post lesion 3-day group only(p <0.05). Compared to control group, immunoreactivity of OX-42 on lesioned side was increased in groups, except post lesion 21-day group, at SN. Only post lesion 3-day group showed significance at striatum(p <0.05). Compared to SN region, immunoreactivity of OX-42 was much weaker in striatum. 3) Microscopically, the microglias showed typically different activation pattern. At SN, numerous phagocytic microglias were found at pars compacta and reticularis of lesion side. At striatum, no phagocytic form was found and the intensity of staining was much weaker. 4) At SN, the immunoreactivity of osteopontin showed definite laterality and it was markedly increased at pars compacta of lesion side with relatively short duration time. At striatum, however, it was not detected by in situ hybridization technique. Conclusion : The nigral 6-OHDA induced rat model of Parkinson's disease revealed several characteristic patterns of microglial reaction. At SN, microglias was activated shortly after direct neuronal damage and maintained for about three weeks. In contrast, despite of sufficient dopaminergic insufficiency at striatum, activation of microglias was trivial, and distinguished 3 day later. Antegrade slow neuronal degeneration is major pathophysiology in striatal dopaminergic deficiency. So, the acuteness of neuronal damage and consequential degree of neuronal degeneration may be important factor for microglial activation in neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's disease. Additionally, osteopontin may be a possible marker for several subsets of activated microglia, possibly the phagocytic form.

        The retrosigmoid approach is one of the most familiar approach for posterior fossa lesion. It can provide access from the foramen magnum to the tentorium but in order to avoid excessive cerebellar retraction and consequent contusion, its main focus is cerebellopontine angle(CPA) and posterolateral skull base. In this brief article, the authors point out important anatomic structures and stepwise operative considerations for removal of acoustic neuroma.

        We report the unusual case of multiple intraorbital and intracranial germinoma primarily arising from optic nerve, pineal gland extending to the splenium of corpus callosum. The patient was 27-year-old male who presented with progressinve bilateral visual loss for 2yrs and suddenly developed right painful exothalmus. The neuroimaging studies disclosed tumors in the right optic nerve, optic chiasm, pineal gland and posterior corpus callosum. The tumor markers of serum and cerebrospinal fliud were all negative. The intraorbital and intracranial optic nerve tumor was removed via fronto-orbitotomy and pterional approach. The histological diagnosis was germinoma. Follow up brain MRI demonstrated complete disappearance of the multiple masses after completion of three courses of combinant chemotheraphy with Ifosfamide-Cisplatin-Etoposide. This case is believed to be the first case report as multiple intraorbital and intracranial primary germinoma.

      • 농업생산기반정비사업의 가뭄피해저감 효과 분석: 연산가능일반균형모형을 중심으로

        정부는 농업생산기반정비사업을 통해 가뭄의 피해를 최소화하고 안정적인 농업생산을 유지하기 위해 지속적으로 노력하고 있다. 농업생산기반정비사업은 농지 정비를 통해 기계화 영농이 가능하도록 농지를 조성하며, 가뭄·홍수·수해 등 자연재해 예방을 위한 농촌용수 공급 수리시설을 설치 및 관리하는 사업이다. 특히, 농업생산기반정비사업에 속하는 농어촌용수개발 사업은 안정적인 농업용수공급기반 구축을 위해 가뭄상습지역에 저수지, 용수로 등의 수리시설을 설치하는 사업에 해당한다. 농어촌용수개발 사업을 통해 국내 수리안전답은 전체 논 면적의 63%까지 증가하였으며, 그 사업 비용 역시 2019년 5,698억 원까지 증가하였다. 또한, 최근 가뭄빈도 증가 등 기후변화에 대응하기 위하여 2030년까지 수리안전답률을 80% 달성할 것을 목표로 추진되고 있다. 하지만 이러한 많은 재원 투자에도 불구하고 농업생산기반정비사업의 가뭄저감효과에 대한 연구는 매우 제한적이다. 특히, 미래 기후변화를 고려한 농업생산기반정비사업의 가뭄저감효과와 경제적 파급효과는 매우 부족하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 문헌연구를 바탕으로 기후변화에 따른 농업생산기반정비사업의 가뭄저감효과를 식별하고, 연산가능일반균형모형을 통해 그 경제적 파급효과를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 과거 2019년 수리안전답 수준을 가정할 경우, 2001년과 2010년 수리안전답 수준에 비해 단위면적당 쌀 생산량 피해가 10% 이상 줄어드는 것으로 나타났으며, 이러한 가뭄피해저감효과의 경제적 파급효과는 쌀 생산에 미치는 영향보다 큰 것으로 계측되었다. 또한, 이러한 경제적 효과는 가뭄의 강도와 빈도가 강해지는 기후변화로 인해 더욱 커지는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 농업생산기반정비사업의 가뭄저감효과의 경제적 효과가 직접적인 효과보다 더 크며, 중장기 기후변화를 고려한다면 그 경제적 효과는 더욱 증가할 수 있음을 의미한다. 다만, 본 연구의 결과는 농업생산기반정비사업의 가뭄저감효과만을 대상으로 하였기 때문에 전체 농업생산기반정비사업의 경제적 혜택을 계측하기 위해서는 추가적인 연구가 필요할 것으로 생각된다.

        단일 나사형 Cage를 이용한 후방 요추체간 융합술과 두개의 나사형 Cage를 이용한 PLIF의 생체 역학적 비교

        Objectives : An in vitro biomechanical study of posterior lumbar interbody fusion(PLIF) with threaded cage using two different approaches was performed on eighteen functional spinal units of bovine lumbar spines. The purpose of this study was to compare the segmental stiffnesses among PLIF with one long posterolateral cage, PLIF with one long posterolateral cage and simultaneous facet joint fixation, and PLIF with two posterior cages. Methods : Eighteen bovine lumbar functional spinal units were divided into three groups. All specimens were tested intact and with cage insertion. Group 1(n=12) had a long threaded cage($15{\times}36mm$) inserted posterolaterally and oriented counter anterolaterally on the left side by posterior approach with left unilateral facetectomy. Group 2(n=6) had two regular length cages($15{\times}24mm$) inserted posteriorly with bilateral facetectomy. Six specimens from group 1 were then retested after unilateral facet joint screw fixation in neutral(group 3). Likewise, the other six specimens from group 1 were retested after fixation with a facet joint screw in an extended position(group 4). Nondestructive tests were performed in pure compression, flexion, extension, lateral bending, and torsion. Results : PLIF with a single cage, group 1, had a significantly higher stiffnesses than PLIF with two cages, group 2, in left and right torsion(p<0.05). Group 1 showed higher stiffness values than group 2 in pure compression, flexion, left and right bending but were not significantly different. Group 3 showed a significant increase in stiffness in comparison to group 1 for pure compression, extension, left bending and right torsion(p<0.05). For group 4, the stiffness significantly increased in comparison to group 1 for extension, flexion and right torsion(p<0.05). Although there was no significant difference between groups 3 and 4, group 4 had increased stiffness in extension, flexion, right bending and torsion. Conclusion : Posterior lumbar interbody fusion with a single long threaded cage inserted posterolaterally with unilateral facetectomy enables sufficient decompression while maintaining a majority of the posterior elements. In combination with a facet joint screw fixation, adequate postoperative stability can be achieved. We suggest that posterolateral insertion of a long threaded cage is biomechanically an ideal alternative to PLIF.

      • 농업의 다원적 기능 가치평가

        이 연구는 농업의 다원적 기능에 대한 가치를 평가하는 방법론, 특히 지속 가능한 농업을 통한 다원적 기능 확산을 평가하는 방법론을 파악하고, 이 방법론에 입각하여 다원적 기능 확충에 대한 정책 수요를 정량적으로 평가하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이 연구의 평가대상은 농업 부문 중에서 지속가능성과 다원적 기능의 확산이 가장 크게 요구되는 부문 중 하나인 축산 부문으로 정하였는데, 이는 결국 지속가능한 축산에 대한 정책 수요 크기를 파악하는 것이 된다. 이 연구에서 농업의 다원적 기능은 농업생산의 결합생산물로 생산되는 재화 또는 용역 중 일부가 외부효과를 창출해 시장실패를 유발하는 경우로 정의한다. 다원적 기능에는 긍정적 외부효과뿐 아니라 부정적 외부효과가 포함되며, 다원적 기능의 확산은 긍정적 외부효과의 증대와 부정적 외부효과의 감소로 구성된다. 이 연구는 일차적으로 농업의 다원적 기능 가치평가 방법론을 세밀하게 검토하여 다원적 기능 확산에 대한 정책 수요를 정량적으로 평가하는 방안을 개발하고, 이를 바탕으로 농업 부문에서 지속가능성과 다원적 기능의 확산이 가장 크게 요구되는 부문에 속하는 축산 부문을 평가대상으로 하여 지속가능한 축산을 통한 다원적 기능 확산 가치, 즉 지속가능한 축산에 대한 정책 수요 크기를 추정한다. 지속가능한 축산에 대한 사회 수요 계측은 지속가능한 축산을 수행함으로써 확산되는 다원적 기능의 가치를 소비자(일반 국민)들이 어느 정도의 편익으로 평가하는지 조사 분석하는 것이다. 설문조사를 이용한 선택실험법을 통해 세 가지 축종(양돈, 소, 닭)에 대해 적절한 사육 여건 제공, 고품질 안전식품 공급, 환경부하 최소화라는 세 가지 속성의 연간 지불의사를 분석한다. 분석 결과 양돈의 지속가능한 축산에 대한 국민들의 연간 지불의사는 3조 7천억 원~4조 4천억 원에 이르는 것으로 계측되고, 소는 그 크기가 3조 4천억 원~3조 9천억원인 것으로 나타나고, 닭의 지속가능한 축산에 대한 지불의사는 3조 6천억원~4조 2천억 원으로 계측되었다. 속성별로는 적절한 사육 여건 제공과 고품질 안전식품 공급이 축종에 관계없이 환경부하 최소화보다 크게 계측되고, 축종별로는 돼지와 관계된 지속가능한 축산에 대한 국민들의 지불의사가 가장 큰 것으로 나타났다. 선택실험법을 통한 분석 결과에서 가장 눈에 띄는 사실은 지속가능한 축산에 대한 국민(소비자)들의 지불의사가 상당히 크게 나타났다는 점이다. 이는 지속가능한 축산 및 이와 결부된 다원적 기능의 확산에 대한 국민의 요구가 매우 크다는 것을 의미한다. 이 연구결과의 정책적 함의는 농정당국이 농정의 방향을 이러한 수요에 부응하는 형태로 전환하고, 이러한 수요에 부응하는 정책 어젠다 및 프로그램을 개발할 필요가 있다는 것이다. Multifunctionality in this study is defined as externalities resulting from agricultural production. It includes positive and negative externalities at the same time, and the improvement in multifunctionality means as reducing negative externalities and increasing positive externalities. This study consists in three parts. First, we reviewed the methodologies for evaluating multifunctionality. Second, the dynamic relationship between multifunctionality and sustainability of agriculture was analyzed. Third, as an empirical example, the willingness to pay (WTP) of public for sustainable livestock production was estimated. This societal demand for sustainable livestock production would reflect the value of improvement in multifunctionality stemming from it. The choice experiment was applied to evaluate the demand for sustainable livestock production. We identified three attributes of sustainable livestock production which are enhancement in breeding conditions, supply of safe livestock products, and decreases in negative environmental effects. Given the policy portfolios, respondents were asked to choose the most preferable option. Policy portfolios consisted in policies regarding three attributes and additional taxation for implementation of policies. The results show that WTP for breeding condition enhancement and WTP for supply of safe livestock products are larger than WTP for decreases in negative environmental effects. Also, we found that the aggregated WTP for sustainable livestock production is quite large. To be specific, the aggregated WTP for sustainable pig production is about 3.7 ~ 4.4 trillion won per year. The aggregated WTP for sustainable cattle production is about 3.4 ~ 3.9 trillion won per year. Lastly, the aggregated WTP for the sustainable chicken production is about 3.4 ~ 4.2 trillion won per year. These results imply that the government would have to correspond to high demand for sustainable livestock production by facilitating policies and programs related to sustainable livestock production.
