Every year many expert systems, possibly more than 1,000 systems are reported to have been developed or in development in the States and more than 200 systems in Japan. To the contrary, a very few expert systems are being developed or installed in Korea, even though many companies are planning to invest money into developing intelligent decision making softwares. In this paper, expert systems developed or in development stage in Korea are analyzed to derive critical factors which determine success or failure. Identification of critical factors is important in that system developers involved in expert system projects can utilize the list of critical factors to avoid possible problems. The critical factors identified in the survey research are user's involvement, domain selection, management support, quality of domain experts, and technical capability of developers. It was found that there is a significant difference in the list and priorities of the critical factors identified in this research and factors identified in the States. The difference may be explained by the progressional stage of expert system development in Korea and America. Expert systems in America is already well established technology in the stage of commercial products, while expert systems in Korea is still new and novel technology in beginning stage. Domain selection is not a serious problem in America, because they have solved many problems and consequently know what problems to solve, what problem not to solve. To the contrary, developers in Korea very often initiate development projects motivated by technical curiosity, rather than by user's requests. Therefore, problems they selected to solve can be inappropriate and then in the later stage of the development they confront resistance of domain experts and users.

We report herein a novel surfactant-free synthetic approach for hollow silica nanoparticles (HSN) loaded with Au nanocomposites (Au-HSN) to enhance photothermal properties. Transmission electron microscopy and elemental analysis confirmed the uniform HSN of Au nanoparticles. UV-vis spectroscopy and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy were performed to demonstrate the dopamine (DA)-hyaluronate (HA) coating on Au-HSN. These nanocomposites dramatically increased up to 48 oC within few seconds under near-infrared irradiation. In addition, these Au-HSN/DA-HA nanoparticles showed the excellent endocytosis against cancer cells without any cytotoxicity. Therefore, it could be a powerful nanocarrier for tumor targeting and photothermal therapy applications.

Recently there has been growing interest in metaverse, a virtual-physical continuum where people can engage in various activities that transcend the limitations of the physical world. Due to the blurring of boundaries between spaces for living, working, and socializing, various human activities including education, healthcare, commercial, and the like are merging with the housing environment. In spite of the growing interest, the consideration of health and wellbeing in the development of housing related services in metaverse has not been fully explored. In this paper, based on the literature review, we propose a framework for the development of future housing related to metaverse in terms of the following three areas: (1)immersive simulation of nature; (2) expanded application of biophilic principles; and (3)corporeal interaction in the virtual environment. We hope the proposed framework inspires discussions among designers developing the metaverse related to future living environment.

본 논문에서는 국내 도서관의 한자검색의 문제점에 대해 집중적으로 분석해 보았으며, 특히 간체자와 이체자의 문제점에 대하여 유니코드와 관련시켜 해결방안을 모색해 보았다. 간체자와 이체자를 정자로 인식하지 못 하는 문제점이 나타나는데 이는 매핑테이블을 이용하여 해결할 수 있을 것이다.
