Perceiving a shape is to capture prominent elements of an object. To humans, a few selected signs are not only sufficient for identification but also determine the impression of the objects. In this respect, CAAD system should recognize architectural form in the same way of human to support aesthetic ability of designers and users. Through the analysis of visual perception, vision was separated to low-level vision and high-level vision. Edge detection and neural network were selected to model after low-level vision and high-level vision. The 24 images of building, tree and landscape were processed by edge detection and trained by neural network. And 24 new images were used to test trained network. The test shows that trained network gives right perception result toward each images with low error rate. This study is on the meaning of artificial intelligence in design process rather than on the design automation strategy through artificial intelligence.

The cognition and classification of human have been continuous subject in cognitive science for a long time. This study focuses especially on the classification of architectural forms. The purpose of this study was to analyze the classification of architectural forms in cognition process by comparison experiment. A artificial similarity model was used to clarify that the classification of architectural forms occurs more by which of the two - similarity and concept. The experiment which compares the response of human with artificial similarity model shows that human and artificial model are together affected in response by forms' typicality. The result of this study is as follows; the classification of architectural forms in cognition process is dependent more on the similarity of forms than the concepts created by similarity.

항공기의 강제냉각 항전장비 유량분배 시험은 강제냉각 항전장비에 요구되는 냉각 유량을 공급하기 위해 오리피스의 직경을 정하는 시험이다. 항전장비 유량분배 해석은 항전장비 유량분배 시험 수행을 위한 초기 오리피스 제작을 위해 사용된다. 항전장비 유량분배 시험은 시험장치 구축을 위한 많은 비용과 2 달 이상의 시험 일정이 소요된다. 항전장비 유량분배 시험을 수행하지 않고, 초기 항전장비 유량분배 해석만으로 항공기에 장착될 항전장비 유량 분배가 가능하다면 항공기 개발 비용을 줄일 수 있고, 개발 일정도 단축할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 상용 프로그램을 이용한 해석만으로 항공기 항전장비 유량분배가 가능한지 여부를 논하였다. The purpose of the avionics flow distribution test was to define the orifice sizes for each avionics line that result in adequate cooling flow to each avionics box. The avionics flow distribution analysis was intended to fabricate the initial orifices installed on the avionics flow distribution test rig. It was costly to build the test rig and it took around 2 months for the test. If the avionics flow distribution test is replaced by the analysis, the cost and development schedule could be reduced. This paper presents that the avionics flow distribution analysis can replace the test using the commercial program.
주변 건축물에 의해 형성되는 일조환경의 수치적 분석에 관한 연구

The disputes about the right to sunshine have been risen frequently owing to the growth of the city. Although, there isnt the specialized method to evaluate the infringement on the right to sunshine and architects have been indifferent un the environment of sunlight affected by new buildings. Moreover, the tools that have been u:;ed for the evaluation such as Auto Cad and 3D Max can not save the numeric data of result after graphical displaying. In this study, the possibility to make more convenient, efficient and reliable tool than present methods to evaluate and minimize the room for dispute is verified. This study shows the possibility to make and use of specialized tool to evaluate the infringement on the right to sunshine. Because the changelessness laws in the changeful environment of city causes frequent disputes, flexible restrictions are needed and the specialized tool is tried to be applied on the case of the infringement on tare right to sunshine. According to the case study, H apartment building has a bad influence of sunlight environment on S apartment, though H apartment observes tire law concerned with the right to sunshine. Now, new rights and obligations among buildings are needed to protect a basic demand of human.
