The strains of Salmonella othmarschen and Norovirus isolated from outbreak A, the funeral ceremonies incidents in Ouri-shi of Oyeonggido in, 2007, were subjected to genotyping by using PFGE and extraction of RNA by using RT-PCR. 24 Salmonella othmarschen were isolated from 37 cases (patients 12 cases, cookers 4 cases, foods 7cases, knife, kitchen board, dish towel 4 cases, etc) and PFGE patterns showed that 22 strains isolated from the same incident were almost of the same pattern and 2 strains exhibited 50% of the pattern. Antimicrobial susceptibility patterns were such that there were 22 case susceptibility patterns and 2 case resistance patterns (strain 4: AM, CF, CIP, NA, TE TIC and strain 13: CF, CZ). Norovirus G1 (1case), Norovirus G2 (7cases), Norovirus G1,G2 (1case) were detected by using RT-PCR. The fine typing ability and reliability of PFGE and BioNumerics are helpful for establishing out the foodborne pathogens of outbreaks.
중앙집중식 냉방시설의 냉각탑수중 레지오넬라균과 실내외 미생물 분포에 관한 연구

Cooling towers water has frequently been known as a source of infection in outbreaks of Legionnaires' disease and a source of indoor air pollution. However, there have been a few reports on the presence of Legionella in cooling towers water and aerosols of various public facilities. This study was carried out to investigate the indoor and outdoor dis-tribution of Legionella spp and microbe from 132 cooling towers water of public facilities detected 1. pneumophila in Seoul and Gyeonggi-Do areas. The results showed that the Lpneumophila among the selected 132 cooling towers was detected mostly in July (12.0%), followed by August (4.0%) and June, September no-detected. The 1. pneumophiia in public facilities was detected mostly in department store (27.3%), followed by hospital (8.7%), office building (5.9%), big market (5.0%) and hotel, subway no-detected. The pH values of cooling towers water with presence of 1. pneumophila showed mostly 8.0 or higher (9.5%), followed by 7.0~8.0 (6.8%), lower 7.0 no-detected. The tem-perature of cooling towers water with presence of L pnemophila showed mostly 30℃ or higher (9.8%), followed by 26~30℃ (6.9%), lower 25℃ no-detected. The turbidity of cooling towers water with presence of 1. pneumaphila showed mostly 1-2 M (8.8%), followed by above 2 NTU (5.9%), lower 1 NTU no-detected. The correlation coef-ficient between indoor and outdoor concentration of microbes in public facilities showed 0.67 in Legionella spy. (p>0.05), 0.93 in bacteria (p<0.01), 0.94 in fungus (p<0.01), 0.98 in coilform (p<0.01), respectively.
다중이용시설내 냉각탑수 및 실내공기에 존재하는 레지오넬라균 조사

This study was carried out to investigate the presence of L. pneumophila in indoor air and water collected from 692 air conditioning cooling towers at different public facilities. For these 4 years (2001~2004) of investigation, water samples were collected in high air conditioner operating month (from July to September) at department stores, hotels, offices, hospitals, discount stores, and public agencies. It was found that L. pneumophila was present in water samples from 47 air conditioning cooling towers. The detection rate of L. pneumophila was 7.6% in 2001, 10.7% in 2002, and 9.5% in 2003, respectively. When we compared the 4 air conditioner operating months, the highest rate of L. pneumophila detection was obtained in the water samples of July. The detection rate of L. pneumophila differed among different facilities. The highest detection rate of 17.9% was found in samples from department stores. L. pneumophila was detected similarly in water samples from hospitals (8.3%) and offices (8.2%). pH, temperature, and turbidity in the 47 L. pneumophila positive water samples ranged from pH 7 to 9, from 25℃ to 38℃, and from 1.0 to 3.5, respectively.

This study was performed to investigate food safety of 18,446 distribution foods in the northern Gyeongii area from 2010 to 2014 year. Food safety analysis was conducted by using Korean food code and food additives code. Fail determination about standards and specifications was 184 cases of 18,446 distribution foods, which represented about 1.00% fail rate of total cases. In the case of collected by food sanitation inspector, fail determination was 124 cases of 13,706 foods and showed about 0.90% fail rate. In the case of requested for food safety inspection, fail determination was 42 cases of 3,419 foods and showed about 1.23% fail rate. Results of fail determination by years, 61 cases (about 1.66%) detected fail among 3,683 foods in 2010 year, 37 cases (about 0.96%) detected fail among 3,863 foods in 2011 year, 44 cases (about 1.18%) detected fail among 3,721 foods in 2012 year, 25 cases (about 0.68%) detected fail among 3,669 foods in 2013 year, and 17 cases (about 0.48%) detected fail among 3,510 foods in 2014 year. In distribution of fail rate by month, september was showed the highest fail rate at 2.54% compared with other months. Fail determination by type of foods showed that 23 cases of perilla oil detected fail in 204 foods (about 11.27%), 32 cases of sesame oil detected fail in 394 foods (about 8.12%), 9 cases of pickles detected fail in 177 foods (about 5.08%), and 10 cases of red pepper powder detected fail in 283 foods (about 3.53%). For analysis of fail determination by examination items, microorganism was 28 fail cases (15.22%) and that was the highest level among examination items, linolenic acid and acid value were 27 fail cases (14.67%), iodine value was 19 fail cases (10.33%), content amount was 16 fail cases (8.70%), and sulfur dioxide was 9 fail cases (4.89%). In conclusion, the result of this study indicate that various fail determination items were detected of distribution foods on the market during the past five years and it was showed to higher hazard occurrence potential due to food. Therefore, more strict food safety control will be need for improving human health by prevent food health problem and ensure food safety.
2014-2015년 경기지역 노로바이러스성 식중독의 분자역학적 특성분석

Norovirus infection is a leading cause of nonbacterial gastroenteritis outbreaks. New variants of GII.4 have emerged approximately every 2~3 years and have caused norovirus gastroenteritis pandemics globally. In this study, analysis and molecular genetic characteristics of the norovirus gastroenteritis outbreaks 2,917 samples in Gyeonggi-Do from 2014 to 2015. As a result, 247 samples out of 2,917 samples are positive for norovirus. Norovirus molecular genetic characteristics of the GI 8 types (GI-1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 12, 14), GII 10 types (GII - 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 14, 16, 17). Genome sequences of isolated noroviruses were similar to those of new GII.17 Kawasaki 2014 variants with 96.6 identity, suggesting that these viruses were imported from overseas. 44% of virus incidence was originated from school meal service. Therefore, a continuous monitoring and school sanitation should be required for preventing a massive virus outbreak. 노로바이러스는 식중독을 유발하는 주요 병원체이며, 최근 GII.4 변이주의 출현으로 전세계적으로 2~3년 주기로 유행하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 2014년부터 2015년까지 2년간 경기도 내 집단식중독 검체 2,917건을 대상으로 노로바이러스성 식중독 발생양상을 파악하고 분자유전학적 특성을 분석하였다. 검사결과 노로바이러스가 247건으로 가장 많았으며, 분자유전학적 특성은 GI 형에서 8종(GI-1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 12, 14), GII형에서 10종(GII-2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 14, 16, 17)으로 다양하게 분포하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 2015년 초 집단발생한 노로바이러스 35건에 대한 유전계통학적 분석결과 GII-17 kawasaki 2014형으로 알려진 분리주와 96.6% 이상 일치하여 새로운 변이주에 의한 유행이었음을 확인하였으며, 학교 등 급식에 의한 비율이 44%로 단체급식 위생에 주의하는 한편 발생 원인을 파악하여, 대규모 식중독 유행에 대비하여야 할 것으로 판단된다.
식품중 발기부전 치료제 및 유사물질 함량에 관한 조사연구

To det ermine 8 anti-impotence drug/drug-like compounds such as sildenafil, vardenafil, tadalafil, homosildenafil, hydroxyhomosildenafil, aminotadalafil, pseudovardenafil and hongdenafil in foods, simultaneously, high performance liquid chromatograrhy(HPLC) and liquid chromatograthy-mass spectrometry (LC/MS) were used. The HPLC/UV analysis was performed on a column of capcellpak C₁? with 0,1 % sodium-1-hexansulfonate in 0.2M ammonium formate/acetonitrile as a mobile phase. Mass spectra of the compounds by LC/MS were investigated with SCAN mode(Mass range and Fragment voltage) and SIM (Selected Ion Monitoring) mode (Ion target and Fragment voltage). The results follow as; 1. The HPLC/UV analysis was detected from 5 out of 63 samples. The content of sildenafil was in the range of 32.80 ppm~60,13 ppm from 4 out of 5 samples, The contents of sildenafil, vardenafil, homosildenafil were in the range 47,14 ppm from lout of 5 samples. 2. The conformed result of LC/MS was equal of detected from 5 out of 63 samples in HPLC/UV analysis. An easily available, simultaneous determination of 8 standards in adulterated health related foods was established by using a combination of LC/MS methods.
