        대구.경북지역의 취업 물리치료사 현황분석

        The following analysis is conducted to the 108 employed physical therapist males 46, female 62 in Taegu and Kyung-Pook for the purpose of research on their present status from August in to September 17 in 1994. The percentage of the female polled is 57.4 % and the age of 21 to 30 is 79.7 %. The number of people who have worked over five years in general hospital is 8(7.4 %) and in local clinic 5(4.6 %). This report is researched in to the proportion of the males to females, age, career period, job classification, and salary range.

        수컷생쥐의 Leydig Cell 미세구조에 대한 Chlorambucil의 영향

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of chlorambucil on the mouse Leydig cell by electron microscopy. Chlorambucil suspended in the 0.5N sodium bicarbonate(pH 8.0) was injected I.P.(intraperitoneal) at a dosage of level 20mg/kg for 1 weeks, 3 weeks and 5 weeks, respectively. The results obtained from this experiment are as follows: 1. One week after the administration of chlorambucil, there was an increase in heterochromatin, swelling and cristae disruption in some mitochondria, mild vacuolation between cells and the occurrence of membrane bound inclusions in some nuclei. 2. After 3 weeks, smooth endoplasmic reticulum dilations, cytoplasmic vacuolation, mitochondrial swelling, inner mitochondrial cristae disruption, membranous whorls, and intranuclear inclusions were observed in the treated cells. 3. After 5 weeks of treatment, most mitochondria were swollen and their membranes were severely disrupted. Further, smooth endoplasmic reticulum dilations and vacuolation of the cytoplasm were apparent in the treated Leydig cells. In addition numerous membranous whorls and intranuclear inclusion bodies were present. The nuclei displayed invaginatons of the nuclear membrane and large clumps of heterochromatin. From these results it is concluded the longer the duration of chlorambucil administration, the greater the degeneration of the nucleus and cytoplasmic organelles.

        흰쥐 뇌의 brain-derived neurotrophic factor 면역반응 신경계의 생후 발달

        Brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF)는 중추신경계의 발달과 성장에서 생존과 분화인자로 작용하는 단백질이다. 본 연구에서는 면역조직화학기법을 사용하여 출생 후의 흰쥐 뇌에서 BDNF 면역반응(IR) 신경세포 및 축삭종말의 출현을 개체발생학적으로 관찰하였다. BDNF-IR 신경세포는 생후 1일에 조롱박겉질, 담장, CA2와 CA3, 앞등쪽 및 뇌실곁시상핵, 안쪽배쪽시상하부핵 그리고 흑색질에서 관찰되었다. 생후 1주째에는 앞후각핵, 대뇌겉질의 V 및 VI층, 담장, 치아이랑, 바닥바깥쪽편도핵, 뇌실곁시상하부핵, 유두체핵에서 관찰되었으며 성장함에 따라 그 수는 증가하였다. 그러나 안쪽배쪽시상하부핵, 뇌실곁시상하부핵, 유두핵 및 흑색질에서는 성체에서 BDNF-IR 신경세포가 급격히 감소하였으며 colchicine 처리 후 다시 많은 BDNF-IR 신경세포가 관찰되었다. BDNF-IR 축삭종말은 생후 1일에 중격핵, 중심편도핵, 분계선조침대핵, 앞배쪽시상핵, 앞안쪽시상핵, 중간앞안쪽시상핵, 뇌실곁시상핵에서, 그리고 생후 1주일째는 치아이랑 및 뇌실곁시상하부핵에서 관찰되기 시작하였고 성장함에 따라 그 수 가 증가하였다. 따라서 본 연구는 출생후에도 뇌의 많은 부위에서 BDNF가 출현하기 시작하거나 또한 성장함에 따라 증가하며 이러한 결과는 출생후의 중추신경계의 발달에 BDNF가 매우 중요한 역할을 하고 있음을 보여주고 있다. BDNF is a protein that allows the survival and differentiation of the central nervous system. In the present study, we have examined the postnatal development of BDNF-immunoreactive (IR) neuron system in the forebrain and the upper brain stem of the rat using immunohistochemistry. In the piriform cortex, claustrum, CA2 and 3, anterodorsal and paraventricular thalamic nucleus (nu.), ventromedial hypothalamic nu. and substantia nigra, BDNF-IR neurons were detected at postnatal day 1. BDNF- IR neurons in the anterior olfactory n., layers V and VI of the neocortex, claustrum, dentate gyrus, basolateral amygdaloid nu., paraventricular hypothalamic nu., mammillary nu. first appeared at postnatal 1 week of age and tended to increase in number as the rats grew. BDNF-IR neurons in ventromedial and paraventricular hypothalamic nu., mammillary nu., and substantia nigra decreased in number and none or only a few BDNF-IR neurons were seen in these areas of the adult rats. However, after treatment of colchicine, these areas showed numerous BDNF-IR neurons. BDNF-IR axon terminals were found in the septal nu., central amygdaloid nu., bed nu., of the stria terminalis, anterior ventral, anterior medial, interanteromedial and paravertricular thalamic nu., at postnatal day 1 and in dentate gyrus and paraventricular hypothalamic nu., at 1 week of age, respectively. These terminals in general continued to increase in number as the rats grew. Our results showed that BDNF immunoreactivity increased in various regions of the postnatally developing rat brain and suggest that BDNF might play an important role in neuronal maturation.

        콜레스테롤 식이로 사육한 흰쥐의 혈청 및 간지질 성분에 미치는 카페인 및 비타민 E의 영향

        카페인과 비타민 E가 체내 지질대사에 미치는 영향을 검토코저, 콜레스테롤 첨가 식이에 카페인(0.25%), 비타민 E(400㎎/㎏ diet) 및 카페인+비타민 E를 각 군에 따라 급여하고 6주간 사육한 후, 흰쥐의 성장, 각종 장기중량, 혈청 및 간중의 지질성분을 측정하고 아울러 간조직검사를 행한 결과는 다음과 같다.<br/> 체중증가량은 CF군만이 유의하게 낮았다. 간 무게는 Basal+Chol.군에 비해 전 실험군에서 유의적인 차이가 없었으며, 신장의 경우 CF군과 CF+VE군에서 유의하게 증가하였다. 혈청중의 총지질은 VE군과 CF+VE군에서 감소하였다. 총 콜레스테롤 및 HDL-Cholesterol은 CF군에서 증가하였으며, 트리글리세리드(TG)는 Basal+Chol. 군에 비해 CF군, VE군 및 CF+VE군에서 유의하게 낮았다. 간중의 조지질은 VE군, CF+VE군에서 감소하였고, TG함량은 VE군, CF+VE군 및 CF군에서 감소하였다. 한편 간조직검사는 Basal+Chol.군이 미세한 과립상의 지방소적으로 팽창된 데 비해 VE군 및 CF+VE군에서 비교적 호전되었으며, CF군 및 CF+VE군에서 비교적 호전되었으며, CF군의 경우 지방소적의 증가와 동양혈관의 확장이 관찰되었다. This experiment was undertaken to investigate the effect of caffeine and vitamin E on the lipid composition of serum and liver in cholesterol-fed rats. Thirty-five male rats of Sprague-Dawley strain weighing about 120±10 g were divided into 5 groups, each group receiving a different diet for 6 weeks. i.e. basal diet (Basal group), basal diet supplemented with 1.0% cholesterol (Basal+Chol. group), basal diet supplemented with 1.0% cholesterol and 0.25% caffeine (CF group), basal diet supplemented with 1.0% cholesterol and 400ppm vitamin E (VE group), and basal diet supplemented with 1.0% cholesterol and caffeine plus vitamin E (CF+VE group).<br/> Net weight gain was significantly depressed only by caffeine supplementation. Serum total lipid was significantly decreased in VE and CF+VE groups. Serum total cholesterol and HDL-cholesterol were slightly increased by caffeine supplementation, whereas triglyceride (TG) was significantly decreased in CF, VE and CF+VE group. Contents of crude lipid and TG in liver were significantly reduced by supplementation of vitamin E. No differences in liver cholesterol were found among experimental groups. Histologically, Basal+Chol. group showed a spotty necrosis, including a profuse fine microvaculoar lipid accumnlation. CF group exhibited a mild inflammatory infiltration, as well as macro- and microvacuolar lipid accumulation. But those were regenerated by supplementation of vitamin E.

      • 아이리스 모자이크病에 관한 연구

        The virus disease of bulbous iris has been regarded as a widespread disease in the iris-growing areas in the south part of Korea. Iris mosaic virus (IMV) was transmitted by sap-inoculation to 3 of 12 plant species in 5 families. Characteristic local lesions without subsequent systemic infection were produced in Tetragonia expansa, Chenopodium quinoa, C. amaranticolor; of these, C. quinoa and T. expansa were the best indicator ans assay hosts. IMV infected two plant species inoculated mechanically with partially purified virus preparation. Sap from the diseased C. amaranticolor was infective after 10 min at 60C, after dilution to 10-³ but not 10-⁴, or 3∼4 days at 20C. In negatively stained preparations, particles of the virus appear under the electron microscope as flexible filaments of about 750×13nm. Cylindrical inclusions and virus particles were found in the cytoplasm of mesophyll cells by ultra-thin sections of IMV infected tissues.

      • 뭉툭맵시벌아과(벌목:맵시벌과)의 분류와 계통 : Ⅲ. Morphometric analysis of Genus Netelia Gray Ⅲ. 자루맵시벌속의 형태계량학적 분석

        For the taxonomy and phylogeny of the subfamily Tryphoninae(Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae), specimens were collected from March of 1988 to September of 1995 in the southern part of Korean peninsula. Specimens were also obtained from various museums and laboratories both in Korea and other counteries. This research utiltzed about 1000 domestic specimens and 3010 foregin specimens including 10 specimens from North Korea. Morphometric analysis was performed using these specimens(7 subgenera 20 species 53 individuals of Genus Netelia Gray) and the following results were obtained. In order to get a desirable results from morphometric analysis, both PCA and discriminant analyses were performed. All subgenera show distinctive feature, even though they share several morphological characteristics. Thus, the subgeneric classification of Netelia is adequate (Kaur & Jonathan, 1979). Morphometric analysis indicated that SCU, WFA, WCL, LRM and FCU's are important factors to classifying the subgenera. It could overcome the problems following subgeneric classification if these characters were incorperated into subgeneric classification system.

        For the phenetic analysis of the subfamily Tryphoninae(Hymenoptera:Ichneumonidae), specimens were collected from March of 1988 to September of 1995 in the southem part of Korean peninsula. Specimens were also obtained from various museums and laboratories both in Korea and other counteries. This research utilized about 1000 domestic specimens and 3010 foregin specimens including 10 specimens from North Korea. Phenetic analysis was performed using these specimens (39 genera 39 species)and the following results were obtained. In the cluster analysis, the ward method is more effective than the average linkage method (within group and between group), while the use of total characteristics was resulted in more stable grouping than only quantitative or qualitative characteristics. The cluster and discriminant analyses suggested that the Townes(1969) and Townes et al.(1992)'s system is well fit for the classification of Tryphoninae. For the subfamiliar classification, the analyses of total characteristics by ward method resulted in the most accetable grouping.
