Neurofibroma in the larynx is a rare disease. A case of solitary endolaryngeal neurofibroma was reported first by Suchanek in 1925. As the report, the commonly occured site is the aryepiglottic fold or the arytenoid cartilage, because the branch of the superior laryngeal nerve is involved. We present a case of incidently detected neurofibroma in arytenoid cartilage. The 68 year-old male with solitary neurofibroma in the arytenoid cartilage, had no laryngeal symptoms such as throat discomfort, globus sensation, and dyspnea. We present the case of solitary neurofibroma of the arytenoid cartilage.
비선형 유한요소 해석프로그램(LS-DYNA)을 이용한 차량 동력학해석

Structural integrity of either a passenger car or a light truck is one of the basic requirements for a full vehicle engineering and development program. The results of the vehicle performance in terms of ride and handling durability, noise/vibration/harshness(NVH), crashworthiness and occupant safety. The level of performance of a vehicle directly affects the marketability, profitability and, most importantly, the future of the automobile manufacturer. In this study, we used the virtual proving ground(VPG) approach for obtaining the dynamic characteristics. VPG approach user a nonlinear, dynamic, finite element code(LS-DYNA3D) which expands the application boundary outside the classic linear, static assumptions. VPG approach also uses realistic boundary condition of tire/road surface interactions. To verify the predicted dynamic results, a single lane change test has been performed. The prediction results were compared with the experimental test results, and the feasibility of the integrated CAE analysis methodology was verified.

In rollover crashes, the development of bus structure to ensure the maintenance of survival space for passengers is very important. So, this paper focuses on understanding the possibility of efficient structural development considering rollover strength through computer simulation using the commercial code, LS-DYNA3D at the initial stage of vehicle development.<br/> For this study, medium bus structure was modeled using beam elements to represent major structural members. and impact boundary conditions required by ADR59(Australian Design Rule 59) were applied.<br/> In order to confirm the validity of the computational results, they were compared with the test results. After the usefulness of this method of analysis was confirmed, we have proposed the effective structural modification for rollover strength<br/>

In the development stage of vehicle structures and components, there is a tendency to increase using numerical simulation methods for the estimation of fatigue strength. The advantage numerical simulation methods are especially marked when it is applied at a very early stage in the development process. The essential profit is the reduction of test loops with different structure and component variants due to pre-optimized prototypes by numerical simulation. However, the estimation of fatigue strength has been difficult since fully integrated computer aided engineering(CAE) technique for durability evaluation was not developed.<br/> In this study, simple and accurate analysis technique is suggested for farigue strength evaluation through virtual proving ground(VPG) technique. And also, we verify the presented analysis method through durability evaluation of the knuckle of passenger car.<br/>
