      • PC 기반의 동시 2축 CNC용 소프트웨어 보간기 개발에 관한 연구

        A PC-based reference pulse software interpolator, which can be effectively applied for two-axis computer numerical control(CNC) systems such as those used in water-jet cutting, plasma are cutting and laser beam cutting machines, is proposed in the present study. The proposed interpolation method is based upon searching in two or three directions for the minimum path error, while the axes of motion do not move simultaneously in the stairs approximation method and the basis for selecting an interpolating point is not related to any criteria of path error in the digital differential analyser(DDA)method. Accordingly, this method has many advantages over the other two competing methods. such as small maximum path error of only a half basic length unit (BLU), uniform velocity along the cutter path, high degree of path smoothness and maximum velocity allowable. Since the velocity of the proposed CNC system is controlled through adjusting two interrupt interval times at each interpolation step, a constant velocity can be maintained along any cutting path. The proposed interpolation algorithm is very simple and can be easily applied for the practical two-axis CNC systems, since it is based on transforming the interpolating paths in all interpolating cases to those in one typical case.

        원자력발전 재장전수조 여과기의 이물질 점검용 수중 ROV 개발에 관한 연구

        원자력발전 재장전수조의 여과기 내에서 상승, 하강, 전진, 후진 이동하여 CCD 카메라로 이물질을 검사할 수 있는 수중 ROV를 개발하였다. ROV의 상하 thruster 최대추력 117.7 N은 ROV가 수중에서 0.2m/s 속도로 하강하는데 문제가 없고, 상승할 때도 저항력 63.8 N 보다 크므로 상승할 수 있도록 설계하였다. ROV의 수평 thruster 최대추력 139.3 N은 ROV가 수중에서 0.2 m/s 속도로 전진, 후진하는데 저항력 4.8 N 보다 아주 크므로 문제가 없고, 수중에서 1.03 m/s 최대속도로 전진, 후진하는데 저항력 127.3 N 보다 약간 크므로 전진, 후진할 수 있도록 설계하였다. ROV가 0.6m/s의 속도로 이동 중에 충돌하는 경우 가드프레임의 구조강도를 해석한 결과, 최대응력은 22.756 MPa, 최대 변형량은 1.177 mm으로 구조강도에서 안전함을 알 수 있었다. 조파수조의 수심 5 m에서 ROV의 최대 이동속도는 1.08 m/sec, 작업 속도는 0.2 m/s로 측정되었으며, 목표성능을 만족하였다. ROV가 수중에서 0.2 m/sec로 이동하면서 검사 카메라가 1.5 m 아래의 3mm*3mm 크기의 글자를 판독 가능하여 여과기의 이물질을 충분히 판독할 수 있었으며, 목표 성능을 만족하였다. An underwater ROV was developed to check for foreign materials with a CCD camera in the IRWST strainer of a nuclear power plant. The upper and lower maximum thrust of ROV was 117.7 N, which is larger than the resistance of 63.8 N even when it rises. A horizontal maximum thrust of ROV 139.3 N has no problem because the ROV moves forward and backward in water 0.2m/s much more than 4.8 N, and is designed to move forward and backward as the ROV is slightly larger than the resistance of 127.3 N at the 1.03 m/s maximum speed. An analysis of the structural strength of the guard frame when the ROV collided while moving at the speed of 0.6 m/s revealed a maximum stress of 22.756 Mpa and a maximum deformation of 1.177 mm. The maximum moving speed of ROV was 1.08m/sec and the working speed was 0.2 m/s at a 5m depth of the tank. As the ROV moved to 0.2m/sec in water, the inspection camera could read 3 mm square-sized letters below 1.5 m, meaning that foreign materials in the strainer could be read sufficiently, and the target performance was satisfied.

        플라즈마 절단공정에서의 아아크 효율과 절단폭

        플라즈마 절단은 산업계에서 널리 사용되고 있으나 공정의 해석에 대한 연구는 매우 부족하다. 본 연구에서는 알미늄판재에 나타나는 온도분포를 해석함으로써 절달폭을 이론적으로 예측하고 자 하였다. 열유동을 해석하는데 있어서, 플라즈마 아아크의 강도가 폭방향으로는 정상분포 (Gaussian distribution)을 갖고 두께방향으로는 지수함수적으로 감소한다고 가정하였다. 측정된 아아크효율을 이용한 계산결과 이론적으로 예측된 절단부의 크기 및 형상이 실험치와 매우 잘 일치하였으며, 따라서 제안된 해석방법은 플라즈마 절달공정의 해석에 유용하게 적용될 수 있 었다. Plasma arc cutting is a fusion cutting process in which a gas constricted arc is employed to produce high temperature, high velocity jet at the workpiece. Even though the plasma arc cutting has been wid¬ely used in the industry, very little work has been done on the analysis of the process. In this paper, the kerf width was numerically analyzed by soving the temperature distribution in base metal under consideration of the latent heat effect. In modelling the heat flow problem, the heat intensity of the plasma arc was assumed to have a Gaussion distribution in the transverse direction and expone¬ntially decreasing in the thickness direction. The thermal efficiency and the heat input ratio of the top surface were experimentally deterimned for various thickness and cutting conditions, and used in numerical calculation of the kerf width. The experimental results were in eonsiderabely good agreement with the theoretically predicted kerf width.

        A 2-dimensional scanner have been generally used for an office, but 3-dimensional one was seldom used in industry. A footwear bonding process has been operated manually by the skilled operators, but it is needed to be operated automatically. So we developed an automatic outsole profile scanner, which consists of PC, CCD camera, laser beam diode and moving mechanism, to scan automatically the 3-dimensional profile of outsole inner face to be bonded. Here the developed algorithm makes 2D image into 3D outsole profile. This profile will be used enough to bond automatically the outsole to something like leather or clothes.

        CDOs(Collateralized Debt Obligations) on which the so-called structured financing technique is based, are strange contrivance, to be handled with care. They are high-yield, high-risk investments tools initially invented to take loans off commercial banks' balance sheets. In case of Korea since the financial crisis in 1998, structured financing technique is said to have replaced major part of the traditional banking and stock market in raising equity capital. In this paper it has been tried to scrutinize the role of CDOs(Collateralized Debt Obligations)-based structured financing technique as a tool of corporate financing. The major findings are as follows. Firstly, as long as there is enough fund available to take the bottom-or toxic waste of the risk pyramid on which this technique is based, the structured financing technique becomes a useful tool of equity financing. Secondly, financial supervision is essential to protect the innocent and not fully-informed investors from any potential risk inherent in CDOs(Collateralized Debt Obligations).
