和泉式部의「語らふ」자세의 생성과 帥宮과의 관계

『和泉式部日記』と, 『和泉式部集』中の「帥宮挽歌群」において, 一見, 矛盾すかのような「語らふ」「物思ふ」の二つの語のからみ合いを, 彼女の人生において決定的な意味を持つ帥宮との關係から, 全面的に檢討した. 幼い時から「物思ふ」資質を持っていた彼女は敦道親王(帥宮の兄)との戀, その他の經驗から, いっそうその思いを深くしていた. そういう時, 帥宮から「語らふ」ことによって「物思ふ」心が慰めらと敎えられ, 逢瀨を重ねてこの世に「同じ心」の持さ主がいること知った. その慰めが, 帥宮の死によって失なわれ, 再び自分を「物思ふ」人と認識することになる, その經緯を, 歌集の中七五例におよふ「物思ふ」語の, 歌群における分布狀況, 「語らふ」との相關關係など考察することによって, 明らかにした. 生前, 帥宮は和泉式部に對て「戀」においても「道心」においても, 「同じ心」であってはしいと切に願っていた. そして, それは度重なる歌の贈答や會話による「語ふ」によって, やがては二人にとにとって「物思ひ」のない時を迎之るである.

여성수학자 에미 뇌터의 수학적 삶의 역사

본고에서는 현대 추상대수학의 기반을 닦은 독일 여성수학자 에미 뇌터의 수학적 삶의 역사를 살펴보고 수학자, 수학교사 등 수학전문가를 양성하는 대학 수학교육에 주는 시사점을 찾아보고자 하였다. 최근 Hyde et al.([14])은 수학 표준화 시험에서 미국의 2-11학년 학생들이 젠더 간 격차를 거의 보이고 있지 않음에도 불구하고, 대학이나 연구소 등 수학 관련 분야에서 전문가로 종사하는 여성수학자나 여성과학자의 비율이 남성에 비해 크게 뒤지고 있음을 지적하였다. 또한 Guise et al.([13])도 국제 수학성취도 비교를 위한 2003-PISA 연구결과를 토대로 하여 젠더 평등지수가 떨어지는 국가일수록 젠더 간 수학성취도 차이가 크다는 관계를 규명하였다. 에미 괴터는 여학생이 대학교육을 받는 것조차 어려웠던 시대에 젠더와 인종 등 사회적 편견과 차별, 그로 인한 경제적인 역경을 극복하면서 현대 추상대수학이라는 새로운 분야를 창조해 낸 20세기 가장 위대한 수학자라 불리는 독일의 여성수학자이다. 에미 뇌터는 수학자로 살면서 경험한 모든 편견과 차별은 비본질적인 것이며 수학만이 자신의 삶 속에서 추구해야 할 본질적인 것이라 판단하였고, 이를 실제 삶 속에서 실천하였고 궁극적으로는 기존 수학의 차원을 통합하거나 넘어서는 새로운 수학을 창조해냈다. 전 생애 동안 편견과 차별을 경험하면서 단 하나의 본질 즉, '수학' 탐구에만 몰입한 에미 뇌터의 삶은 오늘날 수학, 과학 분야의 연구자와 이 분야의 전공과 직업을 택하려는 대학생들 모두에게 실천적 리더십 사례로 평가된다. 특히 이공계 분야 여학생들에게는 혹독한 편견과 차별에 대해 에미 뇌터가 실천적으로 보여준 초연함, 끈기와 인내심, 그리고 수학(학문)에 대한 순수한 열정을 통해 최고 수준의 수학, 과학 탐구와 창조에서 젠더격차가 존재하지 않는다는 것을 이해하는 계기가 되기를 기대한다. In this paper, the life of Emmy Noether is reviewed in context of today's society where progress in social and educational equality for women have not significantly impacted the participation of women mathematician at the highest level of mathematics study. Recent studies have shown that there is little or no gender difference in mathematics performance if the women are treated equally in the country. Yet, the number of women scientists/mathematicians at the university level or related research centers are very low for all countries including the U.S. as well as Korea. Emmy Noether became a mathematician in early 20th century Germany where women were discouraged(not allowed) from even studying mathematics at the University. She overcame gender, racial, and social prejudices of the time to become one of the greatest mathematicians of the 20th century as a founding contributor of Abstract Algebra. Overcoming all the difficulties to focus on the study of mathematics to contribute at the highest level of mathematics provides an example of leadership for both men and women that is relevant today. Especially for women, Emmy Noether's life is a study in perseverance for the love of mathematics that proves that there is no gender difference even at the highest level of mathematics.

교사를 위한 지식 기반 시스템 웹사이트의 개발 및 활용

급격히 발달하고 있는 정보사회에서는 K-16의 모든 교사들에게 주어진 시간에 더 많은 일의 양을 소화할 것을 요구하는 반면 새롭게 개발되는 테크놀로지의 교육과정에 즉 교육 현장에의 적용이 교사들에게는 커다란 부담으로 다가오고 있다. 동시에 개인용 컴퓨터와 인터넷의 사용 확대는 신 테크놀로지에 익숙한 교사와 테크놀로지의 사용을 꺼려하는 교사들간에, 그리고 테크놀로지와 함께 자란 학생들과 그렇지 않은 현장의 교사들간에 커다란 갭이 형성되어 지고 있는 상태이다. 본 논문에서는 국내외의 현존하는 교육용 웹사이트들의 현황을 살펴 본 뒤, 위와 같은 문제점을 안고 있는 테크놀로지 사회에서 교사들의 컴퓨터 정보화와 전문성을 동시에 향상시킬 수 있는 한 방안으로 인터넷의 활용 방안을 고찰하였다. 교사들의 교수 지식과 경험을 모아서 교수 자료의 형태로 다른 교사들과 공유할 수 있는 인터넷상의 지식 기반 체계(Knowlege Base System)를 전문교과의 교사용 웹사이트 개발에 활용할 것을 제안하였으며, 또한 특별히 수학교사들을 위하여 이화여대에서 연구프로젝트로 개발된 전문 웹사이트 Ewha Resource for Math Teachers (ERMT)의 제작 경험을 토대로 위와 같은 교사용 웹사이트의 개발과 효율적인 운영 방안에 대한 몇 가지 제언을 하였다.

The influence of implemented curriculum variable on TIMSS 2007 Mathematics assessment

In this study, the TIMSS 2007 International Mathematics report was analyzed to better understand the influence of the implemented curriculum variable on the TIMSS test scores. The motivation for the study was to determine if the test scores of different countries could be compared directly to make curriculum and policy recommendations based on the relative success of each country. Among the many variables, the implemented curriculum variable was chosen for the study because of the wide variation reported among the countries. The expectation for the study was that average test scores of the countries should be influenced by the implemented curriculum variable but the degree of influence was not known. A simple linear regression analysis of the average assessment scores versus the average percentage of students taught the TIMSS mathematics topics for each country at the time of the test showed a strong correlation for algebra at the 8th grade level. When comparing the algebra test score of the 30 countries with similar 8th grade intended algebra curriculum, up to about half of the variation in the algebra test scores could be attributed to the implementation difference at the time of the test.

헤이안 시대 일기문학의 상실과 위안

헤이안 시대의 일기문학은 제한된 공간과 사회 규범 속에서 묶여 살아야했던 여인들의 상실을 적어 내려간 작품군이다. 따라서 지금까지의 연구는 주로 그들 작품의 저변에 흐르는 상실과 비탄에 주목, 자조적이고 고백적인 상실의 문학으로서의 논고가 주를 이루었다. 또한 상실과 관련하여서는 주로 작품론과 관련지은 연구가 대부분이다. 이에 본고에서는 헤이안 시대 일기문학의 창작동기이자 특징으로 인식되어 온 ‘상실(비탄)의 문학’이라는 관점에서 탈피하여 ‘위안의 문학’으로서의 위상을 진단해 보았다. 연구 방법으로는 단순히 각 작품별 위안 (대상 또는 방법)과 관련된 구체적인 용례 및 자기 치유와 관련된다고 판단되는 대목을 추출하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 비탄과 상실을 치유해준 위안이 명확하게 드러나는 작품이 있는가하면 작품 전체의 창작 의도조차 파악하기 어려운 작품도 있었다. 특히 『가게로 일기』는 ‘위안’ 관련 어휘가 전무한 상태에서 ‘위안의 문학’으로서의 가능성을 진단하였다. 또한 선행연구에서 주목한 참배와 위안이라는 공식에서 벗어나 본고에서는 자연묘사에 착목하였다. 상실감에 짓눌려 무채색이 되어버린 현실 속에서 서서히 호기심과 적극적인 태도로 자연을 관찰하면서 유채색 현실을 예찬하게 되는 작자의 심경변화를 읽어낼 수 있었다. 예찬보다 더 좋은 치유는 없다고 한다. 눈에 비치는 자연을 매 순간 새롭게 인식하면서 작자는 마음의 위안(퀘렌시아)을 획득해 나간 것으로 보인다. 이상의 고찰을 통하여 헤이안 시대 일기문학의 ‘위안의 문학’으로서의 가능성을 확인할 수 있었다. The diary literature of the Heian period is the work based on the loss of women trapped in oppressive space and social norms. On the other hand, narrative literature is based on the bereavement or separation with a loved one, and the sense of spatial loss that comes after leaving from a familiar city. The majority of studies on these works that were born as a result of personal setbacks and losses are focused mainly on loss. In that loss, there are many studies related to the literary work theory and their contents limited only to the loss itself are common. Therefore, this paper is an attempt to explore the philosophy of the “literary” of “consolation” based on previous researches on the loss in the diary literature of the Heian period. As a method of research, I exercised a great deal of effort in extracting specific examples of “consolation” found in the text and analyzing them. In some cases the loss and consolation (the object or method) are clear, but in other cases it may be difficult to even capture the creative intent of the entire work. Also, when the diary literature with different personality is inscribed as a “consolation” measure, it is necessary to admit its own limitations and problems. Nevertheless, this paper makes a contribution to the diary literature studies by identifying the framework of “literature of consolation” in addition to “literature of lamentation” and “literature of loss”.

수학과 ICT 활용 연수의 실태와 개선 방안

Modern society is a society of knowledge and information putting much emphasis on information-processing skills and information-producing abilities. As teachers serve as agents to select ICT-used class as one of teaching and learning methods, their roles are of great importance. Therefore, this study is designed to look into the actual conditions of ICT-used training to math teachers and to present improving measures. The following are the survey on the actual conditions of math ICT-used training contents. First, math ICT-used training contents don't contribute to the qualitative improvement of in-service teaching and learning methods. Second, ICT-used training is lopsided by focusing on elementary knowledge. Third, there was a significant difference in teachers being able to counter on ICT-used areas, elementary attainments, attitudes towards training and its perception by sex, teaching career and working school. The following are the survey on the actual conditions of operation First, training opportunities are very limited in relation to math ICT-utilized teaching and learning and that training period is very short when compared with the contents of training. Second, ICT-used training is conducted in a way that lectures are dominated. Third, post-training instruction is hardly given.

미국 수학교육 동향에 관한 소고

최근의 미국 수학교육개혁은 미국 수학평교사협의회(NCTM)가 1989년도에 발표한 수학교육과정 및 평가 규준집과 함께 시작되었다. NCTM의 규준집은 수학 교수-학습에 구성주의적 관점을 새롭게 부각 시키며 종래의 수학교육과정과는 달리 “무엇을” 보다는 “어떻게” 가르칠 것인가에 중점을 두고 만들어 진 미국은 물론 전 세계의 수학교육과정 동향에 많은 영향을 미치고 있는 수학교육과정 지침서이다. NCTM의 첫 규준집이 발표된 지 10년이 지난 현재는 이러한 NCTM의 규준에 의해 안내된 교육과정의 결과가 나타나고, 많은 학부모를 비롯한 수학교육 관련자들 사이에 NCTM이 제안한 규준의 효과에 대 한 토론과 논쟁이 활발하게 논의되고 있는 시점이다. NCTM 역시 이러한 피드백을 활용하여 이전의 교 육과정을 보완하여 새롭게 수학교육과정 규준 2000을 다시 발표하였다. 본 고에서는 1989년도와 2000 년도에 발표된 NCTM의 수학교육과정 규준과, 1989년도 NCTM 규준에 따라 “어떻게”를 강조하였던 수학교육과정을 수학교과내용의 강화를 비롯한 “무엇을”을 더 강조하는 새로운 교육과정으로 변경한 캘 리포니아 주의 수학교육과정 틀을 소개하고 이에 관련하여 진행중인 논의를 토대로 미국의 수학교육 동 향에 대해 살펴보았다. 또한 이와 같은 미국의 수학교육 개혁동향이 우리나라 제7차 교육과정 시행에 주는 시사점을 찾아보고자 하였다.
