이상 ‘육필 원고’의 진위 여부 고증(考證) - 편지를 중심으로

2014년 이상의 편지가 발굴되었다는 소식이 여러 언론을 가득 메웠다. 이 보도 이후 그 편지는 이상의 편지로 자리매김하게 되었다. 그런데 이 편지는 2001년 이미 이현욱의 편지로 소개되었던 것이다. 동일한 편지가 먼저는 이현욱의 편지로, 나중에는 이상의 편지로 소개된 것이다. 육필 편지가 적힌 편지지는 1940년에 문을 연 ‘梧文出版社’의 원고지이다. 그리고 편지봉투에 1940년 12월 26일자 소인이 찍혀있다. 그러므로 1937년에 죽은 이상이 이 편지를 쓸 수는 없다. 그리고 서명, 필체 및 문체의 측면에서 이상과 거리가 있다. 하지만 그 편지는 이현욱이 최정희에게 보낸 또 다른 육필 편지와 서명, 필체 및 문체의 측면에서 같으며, 1940년 당시 발표된 이현욱의 「편지」, 「일기」, 「결별」등과 문체의 측면에서 차이가 없다. 또한 육필 편지의 내용은 이현욱의 당시 상황과 그대로 일치한다. 궁극적으로 이 육필 편지는 이현욱의 편지로 보는 것이 적절하다. 이 편지에서 이현욱은 최정희에 대한 애증관계를 가감 없이 표현하였으며, 자신의 글쓰기가 최정희의 권유로 시작되었다는 점, 그리고 최정희와 결별할 수밖에 없는 상황을 그대로 전해주고 있다. 이 편지는 이현욱, 곧 지하련 연구에 좋은 자료가 될 것이다. The news about discovering Lee Sang’s letter filled many newspapers in 2014. After this report, the letter has been established as Lee Sang’s letter. However, this letter has already been introduced as Lee Hyeon-uk’s letter in 2001. The same letter has been first introduced as Lee Hyeon-uk’s and later as Lee Sang’s. The letter paper of handwritten manuscript is the manuscript paper of 'Oh-Mun Publisher' which opened in 1940. And It’s envelope has a postmark dated December 26, 1940. Therefore, no longer can this letter be written by Lee Sang who died in 1937. And it is far from Lee Sang in terms of signatures, handwriting and style. However, this letter is the same as Lee Hyeon-uk's another letter to Choi Jeong-hee in terms of signature, handwriting and style. And it is the same style of Lee Hyeon-uk's works such as “Letter”, “Diary” and “Separation”. Also, the content of the letter is identical to Lee Hyeon-uk’s situation. Ultimately, it is reasonable to see the letter as Lee Hyeon-uk’s. In this letter, Lee Hyeon-uk expressed love and hate relationship with Choi Jeong-hee. This letter shows the fact that Lee Hyeon-uk began writing due to Choi Jeong-hee’s recommendation and she has no choice but break up just like the novel “Separation”. This letter will be a good material to research Lee Hyeon-uk, that is to say Ji Ha-ryeon

신채호와 『가정잡지』의 문필 활동

A Family Magazine aimed at women was usually published in pure Korean language. We knew that Danjae had written a lot of works in A Family Magazine. He paid attention to education of children and women and tried to enlighten them. That was because he thought that a family could be the basis of a nation, our nation and women could contribute to the nation by being a model. We discovered a typical style of Danjae``s Korean writing from A Family Magazine. He published several works in that magazine, having an excellent command of contemporary Korean written style. The magazine was evaluated as another turning point of Danjae``s literature. Danjae``s narratives can be classified as follows:. (1) Eulji Mundeok → “Life of Yi Sun-shin”→ “Life of Choi Dotong”→ “Life of Yuhwa” (2) “Mr Lee in Suwon”· “Unknown Governor``s Wife”→ “Motherwort”→ “A Tale of the Beauty Told by 100 years Old Monk” and etc (3) “Future Dream of the Earth”→“Dream Heaven”→“The FierceStrife between Two Dragons” While the first line is defined as historical and biographical literacy which shows patriotic enlightening features, the second one is a story form embodied through anecdotes like historical heritage, and the third one is allegory which pursues fantastic reality like a dream. The narratives published in A Family Magazine are meaningful in that they show the formation and development of the second line. Even though his literary work such as “Mr Lee in Suwon” and “Cho Kwang-jo & Kim’s wife” was no higher than to introduce the tales, “Motherwort” tended to be formulated as a novel. “A Tale of the Beauty Told by 100 years Old Monk” created under Japanese occupation was certainly the work which clearly showed this feature. Danjae’s literary works in A Family Magazine are invaluable because they help us understand his Korean writings newly and also show the flow and genealogy of his narratives.

Complete genome sequence of Lactobacillus koreensis 26-25, a ginsenoside converting bacterium, isolated from Korean kimchi

A Gram-positive, rod-shaped, ivory colored, and motile, Lactobacillus koreensis 26-25 was isolated from Korean kimchi. Strain 26-25 showed the ability of conversion from major ginsenosides into minor ginsenosides for which whole genome was sequenced. The whole genome sequence of Lactobacillus koreensis 26-25 consisted of one circular chromosome comprised of 3,006,812 bp, with a DNA G + C content of 49.23%. The whole genome analysis of strain 26-25 showed many glycosides hydrolase genes, which may contribute to identify the genes responsible for transformation of major ginsenosides into minor ginsenosides for its high pharmacological effects. 김치로부터 분리한 Lactobacillus koreensis 26-25 균주의 유전체서열을 분석하였다. 균주 26-25의 유전체는 G + C 비율이 49.23%이며, 2,720개의 유전자와 2,556개의 단백질 코딩 유전자, 85개의 위유전자 그리고 78개의 RNA 유전자를 포함한 단일 원형 염색체로 구성되었으면 그 크기는 3,006,812 bp였다. 균주 26-25는 인삼사포닌의 당 분해에 관여하는 여러 타입의 글라이코시다제 유전자를 가지고 있었다. 이러한 지놈 분석은 주요 진세노사이드가 우수한 약리학적 활성의 미량 진세노사이드로 전환하는데 관여하는 유전자 특징을 이해하는데 큰 기여가 되었다.

단재의 서사문학 계보와 「지구성미래몽」의 의미

‘Future Dream of the Earth’(1909) was published in the Korea Daily News in Korean language. Since he was fully aware of the positive effect of Korean novels on mass, Danjae wrote it in Korean native language to enlighten Korean people. In ‘Future Dream of the Earth’ Danjae brought the device of dream that was one of the main characteristics that the traditional narratives had. In his work, he accepted the discussion type that was wildly known as social discourse at that time and he embraced the travel structure to reach the awaken subject. Poetry was utilized to disclose the author’s intention more clearly. Additionally, in his work the reality was described as “not being different from the hell.” That shows that Danjae’s world view was based on the realistic world. He worked hard to raise the national consciousness and spread out the spirit of independence. Likewise, this work was accomplished through the national historical spirit. In this sense, this work played an important role to connect ‘Euljimundeok’ to ‘Dream Heaven’. This work bears some important meanings in the literature of Shin Chae -ho. First meaning is that Danjae wrote novels by himself to enlighten Korean people. Secondly, this work made it possible to confirm the genealogy of Danjae’s fantasy novels ranging from ‘Future Dream of the Earth’ and ‘Dream Heaven’ to The Fierce Battle of Two Dragons. Lastly, even though it was not completed, the novel has a great significance in that it shows the viewpoint of Danjae who enhanced the national consciousness and pursued the independence through the novels at the patriotic enlightenment period. Therefore, it is necessary to identify ‘Future Dream of the Earth’ as one of his novels at the enlightenment movement period.

상해 시절 이광수의 작품 발굴과 그 의미

This research discovered some of unexcavated Lee Gwangsu’s work presumably written during his stay at Shanghai. I found “The Opening Speech,” one editorial and two pieces of poetry within the Korean version of The Young Korea’s first issue, and one editorial in the Chinese version. In the same issue, “Declaration of Korean Youth Association of Independence,” also known as “2.8 Declaration” and written by Lee Gwangsu, was published. From the second issue of the same magazine, “the Need and Method of Preserving and Propagating Korean” was found to be written by Lee Gwangsu. It is confirmed that Lee Gwangu authored “New Determination”, “People and Government”, “Self-awareness of the Citizen”, and “Citizen, Introspect,” all of which were originally published anonymously. Next, this research also found Lee Gwangsu’s work published in Hyeogsingongbo. The existence of Lee Gwangsu’s talk in Hyeogsingongbo adds importance to his newly discovered work in the same collection. Finally, this research discovered and determined that Lee Gwansu authored “an Absolute Independence” and “the Kando Incidence and the Course of Future in Independence Movement,” also published anonymously in Dongnipsinmoon. This research has uncovered a number of works, contributing significantly to understanding Lee Gwangsu’s works during his stay at Shanghai. Lee Gwangsu revealed the act of brutality that the Japanese committed in the 3.1 Movement of Independence and expressed the national determination and promise to achieve independence in two pieces of poetry, “a Girl with cut arms”, and “Hurrah”. Additionally, he emphasized the importance of our language and the necessity of preserving and propagating it in “the Need and Method of Preserving and Propagating Korean”. Newly discovered works, including “the Price of Freedom”, “Future of Korean”, “People and Government”, “an Absolute Independence”, “the Kando Incidence and the Future Course of Independence Movement,” and others, were mostly pertinent to the independence movement. Lee Gwangsu stressed preparing independence through education, well evidenced in his statement, “prepare and endure for a long time.” Lee Gwangsu also advised Chinese intellectuals to join the independence movement in his work, “China will Regain its Power When it Beats Japan.” Such works embody Lee Gwangsu’s thoughts on language, literature, contemporary world, and independence movements.

컬러 및 광류정보를 이용한 이동물체 추적

본 연구는 칼라기반에서 단일 이동객체 추적을 다루고 있다. 우선 매 영상에서 이동객체 영상의 밝기 변화에 따른 추적 약점을 개선하기 위해 기존의 Camshift 알고리즘을 보완하였다. 보완된 알고리즘도 추적중인 물체와 색상이 같은 주변 물체가 존재할 경우 불안정한 추적을 보여주었는데 본 연구에서는 이를 해결하기 위해 Optical Flow기반의 KLT 알고리즘과 병합하는 방법을 제시하였다. 픽셀기반의 특징점 추적을 수행하는 KLT 알고리즘은 칼라기반의 Camshift의 단점을 보완할 수 있다. 실험 결과 제안된 병합 방법은 기존의 추적단점을 보완하였으며 추적성능이 개선됨을 실험으로 확인하였다. This paper deals with a color-based tracking of a moving object. Firstly, existing Camshift algorithm is complemented to improve the tracking weakness in the brightness change of an image which occurs in every frame. The complemented Camshift still shows unstable tracking when the objects with same color of the tracking object exist in background. In order to overcome the drawback this paper proposes the Camshift combined with KLT algorithm based on optical flow. The KLT algorithm performing the pixel-based feature tracking can complement the shortcoming of Camshift. Experimental results show that the merged tracking method makes up for the drawback of the Camshit algorithm and also improves tracking performance.

Achalasia의 외과적 치료

Eophagocardiomyotomy (modi/red Heller procedure) is a widely accepted operation for relief of dysphagia in patients with esophageal achalasia. But patients with advanced achalasia were more likely to get poorer results from a modified Ileller myotomy hecause of the dependent pouch that creates an angulation at the junction of thick-walled dilated esophagus with the thin walled aganglionic segment and hinders complete emptlllg. Thorhjarnarson(1975) prposcd the method including truncal vagectomy and pyloroplasty. Vagectomy and pyloroplasty should lesson the severity of acid-peptic esophagitis, if reflux should occur postoperatively. Here we presented 4 cases esophageal achalasia treated by modified Heller operation of 3 cases and one case of Thorbjarnarson method. All postoperative results are good.

식도 자연천공 치험 1례

Twenty-two years old male was operated for spontaneous rupture of the esophagus. In the event of perforation, there is nothing to prevent wide spread dissemination, and a devastating necrotizing chemical insult occurrs which is rapidly complicated by anaerobic and aerobic infection which quickly jeopardizes the patient`s life, often with a fatal result. For these reasons and despite modern diagnostic aids, anesthetic and operative technics, and antibiotics, perforation of the esophagus is still an alarming accident. In this case, thoracotomy and surgical closure of the perforation resulted in satisfactory outcome except postoperative fistula, which healed spontaneously.

각종 인터넷 포털 사이트를 검색하면 척추측만증에 대한 설명이 나오는데 대체로 척추측만증은 척추가 옆으로 심하게 굽은 증상. 통증은 없고 서서히 진행되는데 심하면 내장 압박을 비롯하여 여러 가지 장애를 일으키는 병으로 소개되고 있다. 하지만 척추측만증은 단순히 척추가 옆으로만 굽은 것을 말하는 것이 아니라 뒤에서 봤을 때 옆으로 만곡된 것 이외에도 척추 뼈 자체의 회전 변형을 동반한 3차원적인 척추기형을 말한다.

Kartagener 증후군을 동반한 Immotile Cilia Syndrome 의 외과적 치험 1례

Immotile cilia syndrome is a congenital structural abnormality of cilia. The structural abnormality is lack of dynein arm or defective radial spoke or microtubular transposition. In this syndrome, ciliary movement is completely absent or dyskinetic and half of this syndrome shows Kartagener`s triad. We report a 13-year-old girl who had immotile cilia syndrome with Kartagener`s triad. She had been suffering from frequent respiratory infection, hemoptysis, large amount of sputum, and sinusitis. Bronchography revealed tubular bronchiectasis in right lower lobe and that lobe was resected for treatment of bronchiectasis. Histological examination of resected bronchus showed chronic bronchiectasis and electronmicroscopically complete lack of both inner and outer dynein arms. Hospital course was uneventful and symptoms were much improved.
