Induction of erythroleukaemia by F - MuLV and Purification of Erythropoietin

Friend Murine Leukemia Virus (F-MuLV) is affective against 2-day old new borns in NFS/n Swiss mice. Infected babies suffer from splenomegaly and anemia at the age of 4-5 weeks beyond which the condition worsens and is fatal. However, the spleen size can be reduced by hypertransfusion for 8 weeks. If left alone after this treatment, the spleen enlarges and becomes palpable again. This time the spleen cells are transplantable and inflict the same disease if injected to normal adults. While these leukemic cells were considered to be hormone-independent, addition of erythropoietin (EPO) was found to be essential for maximum growth in culture. Influence of EPO on the in vivo growth of leukemic cells was indicated by our findings that administration of the hormone caused a more severe leukemia and rapid death while, transfusion of red blood cells, which lowers endogenous EPO, led to increased survival of leukemic mice. It is suggested that hormone-associated therapy may be efficacious in the treatment of this and perhaps, other leukemias. Several erythroleukemic cell lines released factors which stimulated erythropoiesis in vivo and in vitro. A simple five step scheme has been devised which allows purification of this erythropoietic activity to apparent homogeneity. The methods employed included lectin affinity chromatography (wheat germ agglutinin), gel filteration (ultro gel ACA 44), ion exchange, hydroxylapatite, and high performance liquid chromatography, Following polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, biological activity was recovered in an area corresponding to a molecular weight of 35,000 daltons. Silver staining of a polyacrylamide gel after electrophoresis of our most purified preparation revealed a single band of 35,000 daltons.

La presente etude se propose d'analyser la technique narrative dans les romans de Celine. Il modifie les rapports classiques entre l'auteur et le narrateur, le narrateur et le lecteur. D'abord, la fusion de Celine et ses personnages, la disparition de l'auteur au profit du narrateur provoquent au recit une plus grande neurtralite, au sens etymologique du terme, le 'je' n'est ni l'un ni l'autre. Il en resulte que l'auteur peut etre plus present lui-meme dans le texte, a la fois dans le passe de ses avantures et dans le present de sa narration. Dans les innovation des rapports entre l'auteur et narrateur, Celine elargit la sphere d'activite du narrateur. S'ecartant de la mode narrative traditionnelle, la de narrateur, ches Celine, tient a la complexite dansla mesure ou il n'est pas une personnage 'monophonique', mais le dispositaire de tous les discours. Dans les romans de Celine, les 'vous', du narrataire, sorte de lecture ideale, se trouvent presque aussi nombreux que les 'je' du narrateur. Si l'une des principales fonctions narratives, chez Celine, est de constamment 'chercher' le lecteur, c'est le narrataire qui est la contribution ce travail. L'engagement implique par ces 'vous' interpellent le leteur en tant qu'homme en generale et en tant que destinataire du recit. Parces procedes, Celine impose son projet litteraire a l'attention du lecteur, leur subjectivite etant masquee par le 'nous'.
전시 공간의 관람자와 대상에 관한 현상학적관계성에 대한 연구

Exhibition space as a place is accepted as one integration, not separating people and environment to the subject and the object. Because to watch the exhibition, it is a total experience for communicate with space and objects through the visitor with a sense of movement. Therefore, the analysis choose three elements of spaces that visitors, Objects and space in contemporary museum. According to the quest of phenomenologists, The subject stimulus and response through the perception of body, existence, judgment, and movement in space. Depending on characteristics of these visitors all elements in exhibition space including architecture, surroundings and people could be an object to be experienced. Relations between space, object and subject are classified to seven types. ①Experience new space by the exhibition accentuated exhibition space's unique sense of space, ②Experience reinterpreted space that characteristics from the existing place, ③Experience new situation by the sense of body, movement and memories, ④Experience tension and freedom through the movement of body, ⑤Experience special of the place with surroundings, ⑥Experience an inner sense, ⑦Experience to be a object for another visitors. According to case studies, figured out that visitors want to aware of their existence by the space and objects in contemporary exhibition space. Through the experience of a sense, contemporary exhibition space become accepted as a place to find out oneself that missing out on routine.
펄스형 Jamming 신호가 존재하는 주파수 도약 대역확산 통신환경에서 쇄상부호 시스템의 적응 복호화 방식

본 논문에서는 pulse burst jammer가 존재하는 주파수 도약 대역확산 통신 환경하에서 쇄상부호 시스템의 적응 복호화 방식을 제안하고, 그것의 성능을 분석하였다. 쇄상부호 시스템의 내부부호로는 이진 BCH 부호를 사용하였고, 외부부호로는 널리 알려진 리드 솔로몬(Reed-Solomon) 부호를 사용하였다. 본 논문에서 고려된 복호화 방식은 통식채널을 통과할 때 발생하는 일반적인 잡음에 의한 비트오류 뿐만 아니라, Jammer에 대한 side information을 이용하여 발생되는 erasure까지 동시에 정정할 수 있는 복호화 기법을 사용하였으며, 특히 제안된 적응 복호화 방식에서는 가해지는 jamming 신호의 크기에 따라 적응적으로 복호화 방식을 변화시킴으로써 jamming 신호의 변화에 효과적으로 대처할 수 있도록 하였다. 복호화 방식의 성능 평가를 위해 전체 블록 오류 확률이 사용되었으며, 컴퓨터 계산 결과, 제안된 적응 복호화 방식의 성능이 기존의 복호화 방식보다 훨씬 우수함을 볼 수 있다. We propose an adaptive decoding scheme for a concatenated codes with frequency-hopped spread-spectrum communication system in the presence of a pulse-burst jammer and its performance is analyzed. Concatenated coding system employing binary inner code and Reed-Solomon outer code is investigated and the use of side information is allowed to decode both erasures and errors. Our scheme makes the decoder adapts to the level of jamming by switching between two decoding modes such that the overall block error probability can be reduced. It is shown that the proposed decoding scheme yields a significant performance improvement over a conventional decoding scheme.
