        EMP 방호성능 시험용 통합형 E1 펄스 발생장치 분석 및 성능 개선

        본 논문에서는 HEMP(High-altitude Electromagnetic Pulse)와 같은 외부전자파 환경에 노출된 EMP 방호시설에 연결된 전송선로에 유기된 HEMP 위협에 대한 전도성 방호 성능 평가를 위한 E1 펄스에 대해 연구한다. 기존 E1 펄스 발생장치는 Marx Generator 고전압 승압 방식을 사용하지만, 본 연구에서는 광대역 출력전압(30~350 ㎸) 가변이 용이한 Tesla Transformer 방식을 사용한다. E1 펄스 발생장치의 구성 요소인 제어기, 전원장치, 고전압 승압장치, 펄스성형장치도 각각 분석한다. Tesla Transformer를 이용한 E1 펄스는 시뮬레이션을 통해 성능을 예측하고, 실제 개발된 장비를 이용하여 결과를 검증한다. We herein investigate the E1 pulse for evaluating the conducted performance of transmission lines connected to the electromagnetic pulse protection facilities against a conducted high-altitude electromagnetic pulse threat exposed to an external electromagnetic environment. The existing E1 pulse generator uses the Marx generator high-voltage step-up method; however, in this research, we used the Tesla transformer method to easily change the broadband output voltage(30 to 350 ㎸). We also analyzed the controller, power supply, high-voltage booster, and pulse-shaping device. The E1 pulse performance using the Tesla transformer was predicted through simulations and validated by measurements.

        반하 ( Pinellia ternata ) Lectin 의 정제 및 특성

        In order to study the chemical characteristics of Banha (Pinellia ternata) lectin, the lectin was extracted from Banha roots using saline method at 4℃ and purified by hydroxyapatite and CM-cellulose column chromatography. The purity of Banha lectin was ascertained by Davis and SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and double gel diffusion method. The molecular weight of purified lectin was estimated as 160,000 by the method of Sephadex G-100 gel filtration. The lectin was certainly a pure monomeric nonglycoprotein having no subunit. In the hemagglutination test for the lectin, hemagglutination was not observed in the human erythrocytes (A, B, O) even by treatment with trypsin. The lectin, however, reacted with erythrocytes of animals such as rabbit, mouse and rat, and showed a hemagglutination phenomena. Hemagglutination occured at pH range from 4.5 to 9.0 and the optimal range was from 7.0 to 7.2. For the agglutination, divalent cations were not required and no monosaccahride was found to be a inhibitor. The lectin had a strong thermal stability and thus its agglutinating ability was eventually lost after being treated at 100℃ for 25 minutes.

        반하(Pinellia ternata) 뿌리를 $4^{\circ}C$에서 생리식염수로 추출한 후 hydroxyapatite 및 CM-cellulose column chromatography에 의하여 순수한 단백질의 lectin을 분리 정제하였다. Sephadex G-100 gel 여과법을 통하여 측정한 바 lectin의 분자량은 약 160,000이었으며 glycoprotein이 아니며 subunit도 없는 monomer로 존재하고 있는 순수한 단백질이었다. 본 lectin은 사람의 적혈구(A,B,O형)와는 아무런 응집반응도 일으키지 않으나 토끼나 생쥐 또는 흰쥐와 같은 동물들의 적혈구와는 응집반응을 일으키는 특성을 가지고 있었다. 응집반응이 일어나는 pH의 범위는 4.5~9.0이며 흰쥐에 있어서 최적pH 는 7.0~7.2였다. 응집반응에는 2가 양이온이 관여하지 않았으며 반응을 저해하는 "당"도 발견되지 않았다. 본 lectin은 열에 대한 안정도가 높아서 $100^{\circ}C$에서 25분 정도 처리하여야 응집성이 소실되었다.         ZnS:Mn/ZnS:TbF3 적층구조의 형광층을 이용한 TFEL 소자의 제작 및 그 특성

        The thin-film eletroluminescent (TFEL) device having the stacked structure of ZnS:Mn/ZnS:TbF₃ has been fabricated. Insulate layers used (Pb,La)TiO₃ and SiO₂ thin films. The emission color was white. The TFEL device employing ZnS:Mn/ZnS:TbF₃(8000Å) stacked phosphor layers showed the threshold voltage of 78V_(rms). And the brightness of the TFEL device was 400 ㎼/㎠ at the applied voltage of 100V_(rms). The emission spectrum of TFEL device had a wavelength from 450nm to 620nm. The manufactured devices can be a practical use as a TFEL devices of red, green and blue by using the color filters.

      • 복막 투석중인 만성 신부전 환자의 혈압 조절에 관한 연구

        Background and Methods: In order to evaluate characteristics and modulatory factors of blood pressure in peritoneal dialysis(PD), studies were conducted on the 69 patients who had underwent peritoneal equilibration test(PET). Results: The results were as follows; 1) All patients received an antihypertensive drug before PD. but, 15 of 69 patients successfully quit taking the antihypertensive drug after peritoneal dialysis. 2) During peritoneal dialysis. mean artcrial pressure(MAP) was significantly decreased for the first 3 months, and this lasted for 1 year. and antihypertensive drug requirpments were significantly decreased continuously up to 9 months(p<0.05). 3) After changing the modality from hemodialysis to peritoneal dialysis, MAP(mmHg. from 107 0±4.5 to 98.6±8.8, p<0.05), antihypertensive drug requirements(from 5.6±2.6, to 2.0±2.5, p<0.01) and erythropoietin dosages(Uint/week, from 4600±2660 to 2000±1630, p<0.05) were decreased. 4) Multiple logistic regression analysis showed that MAP(p<0.01) and daily ultrafiltration volume(p<0.05) can contribute to the determination of antihypertensive drug requirements. However the relationship between antihypertensive drug requirements and PET results or dialysis adequacy indices(weekly Kt/V, weekly creatinine clearance) was not revealed. Conclusion: In conclusion, the prescription of antihypertensive drugs should be considered according to daily ultrafiltration volume, especially during first year after initiating PD, and follow-ups for over a year may be needed.

        신이식 환자에서의 파종성 Nocardiosis1예

        Nocardiosis is a rare infection seen most commonly in immunocompromized patients. Most patients have pulmonary involvement, but some develop disseminated infection. A 52-year-old man, treated with immunosuppressive drugs for 3 months after kidney transplantation, developed pulmonary nocardiosis and disseminated infection involving brain, skin, and both uvea. The diagnosis was made by open lung biopsy specimens showing characteristic weak acid fastness with modified Ziel-Neelsen stainig and histologic examination. Immunosuppressive therapy was continued and combination of surgical drainage of brain abscess and chemotherapy with Minocycline were successful. With the increasing number of allograft recipients and concomitant immunosuppression, the possibility of an increase in Nocardia opportunistic infections exists.
