        기혼녀성(旣婚女性)의 혼인상태별(婚姻狀態別) 생활시간(生活時間) 배분실태(配分實態)와 효율화(效率化) 방안(方案)에 관한 연구(硏究)

        최근 자원으로서의 시간에 대한 개인의 인식은 인간의 생활을 영위하는 기초적 단위로서 시간의 가치활용도를 높이고 인간관계의 맥락을 심화시키며, 그들의 「삶의 질」을 극대화하는 핵심적인 가치를 부여하는데 초점을 맞추고 있다. 그렇지만 어느 누구에게나 정해져 있는 시간의 양(quantity)을 어떻게 효율적으로 사용하고, 필요한 분야 및 항목에 얼마나 배분하는가에 따라 시간의 질(quality)을 증대시킬 수 있다. 본 연구는 1999년 통계청에서 처음으로 실시한 자료를 심층 분석하는 것이다. 연구목적은 기혼여성의 혼인상태 및 사회경제적 특성에 따라 생활시간 배분이 어떻게 상이한지를 분석하고 문제점을 찾으며, 아울러 효율적 시간활용방안을 제시하고 정책적 지원방안도 함께 모색하는데 있다. 주요 결과는 우리나라 기혼여성의 생활시간 배분은 혼인상태에 따라 현저한 차이가 있었다는 점이다. 아울러 기혼여성의 경제활동여부도 생활시간 배분에 영향을 크게 미치고 있었다. 특히 이혼부인은 생계유지를 위하여 경제활동에 적극 참여해야 하기 때문에 적절한 시간배분에 문제점을 노출시키고 있었다. 이와 같은 일련의 분석연구는 우리나라 부인의 혼인상태, 연령, 경제 활동참여 및 직업유형 등의 특성에 따라 생활방식과 삶의 질을 파악하고, 시간자원을 효율적으로 활용하는 데 필요한 기초자료로 제공될 수 있을 것이며, 궁극적으로 여성의 「삶의 질」을 향상시키는 데 기여할 것으로 사료된다. Individual`s view of time as resource has recently been geared toward making the best use of time as the basic unit of human life in order to deepen the context of interpersonal relationships and maximize quality of life. The quality of one`s time can be enhanced depending on how efficiently one allocate, manage, and spend the quantity of time. The present study aims to conduct an in depth examination of the first time-allocation survey carried out in Korea by the National Statistical Office in 1999 and analyze differences and identify problems in time allocation among married women according to their marital status and socioeconomic characteristics. Along the way, strategic plans and policy implications are suggested for improving the efficiency of time allocation. Major findings can be summarized as follows. Patterns of time allocation among married women in Korea vary widely depending on their marital status. The largest portion of their time in general is spent on `self-care` which includes time allocated for sleep. However, divorced women are found to spend the next largest portion of their time on work, while widowed women and women with spouse spend the second largest portion their time on `leisure and friends/acquaintances`. Divorced women are found to spend significantly more time at work than widowed women and women with spouse do. This is presumably a result stemming from the fact that divorced women, unlike women with spouse present, are highly responsible for household livelihood not only because they do not have income-earning husbands, but also because they are generally younger than their widowed counterparts and therefore are less likely to have income-earning children. Divorced and widowed women in their thirties/forties as compared with other groups are found to spend much more time on work. This may be not only because theyunlike women with spouse present-must fulfill their responsibilities and role as the main breadwinner for the family, but also because they are more likely to have school-aged children and are responsible for earning money for bringing up and educating them. Unemployed women, regardless of their marital status, are found to spend more time on household and family care than employed women. This implies that there is an accentuated policy need for paying particular heed to social support toward helping divorced women balance their work and family lives. Koreans in general-irrespective of socio-demographic factors such as gender, age, educational level, marital status, and employment status-are found to devote little time to voluntary activities, even during weekends or holidays. Non-working women and elderly people, in particular, spend very limited amount of time participating in voluntary activities despite having relatively much spare time. Divorced and widowed women as compared to women with spouse are found to suffer from lack of time to care for their preschool children due to other obligations. This calls for more policy attention to be placed on the protection of physical and emotional health of children in these female-headed households. For instance, the availability/accessibility of desired services should be ensured through the expansion of home-helper programs, educare centers, and financial aid programs. Based on these results, the following time management strategies and policy options can be considered. First, more time needs to be allocated, especially in the case of married non-working women, to voluntary activities. This can be made possible by reducing time spent on friends/acquaintances, leisure activities, and self-care. Second, it is hard for many divorced and widowed women to allocate much time to household and family care because they are responsible for engaging in income-earning activities. Therefore, social support should be provided to enhance the availability and accessibility of home-helper programs and daycare services. Third, cultural/leisure programs should be developed for working married women who generally have little or no time for leisure and interpersonal relationships. Forth, the longstanding inequalities in gender roles must be redressed. To do this would require men to escape from their traditional `male gender role` and assume an increased, if not equal, role in household tasks and family care.

      • A Graph Optimization Algorithm & Routing Heuristics in an Aisle-Based Order Picking System of Automotive Service Parts

        Order picking in automotive service parts warehouses is considered as the most labour-intensive operation. Such warehouses contain hundreds of thousands of items but normally 20% of products contribute to about 80% of turnover according to Pareto’s principle of 80-20 rule. Therefore most of fast moving items are located near outbound area which is called “Golden Zone”. Order picking routing efficiency is related to productivity and labor cost. However, most companies use simple methods. This study compares various routing heuristics in the automotive service parts warehouse. We focus on examining the influence of golden zone on routing method selection and present a practical case study.

        스마트시티 조성을 위한 비전 및 주요전략 도출

        전 세계적으로 급속한 도시화로 인하여 각종 사회문제와 부작용 등이 발생하고 있다. 이에 따라 시민의 삶의 질을 향상시키고 지속가능한 도시개발을 위하여 스마트시티 조성이 추진되고 있다. 국내에서도 각 부처별로 스마트시티 조성을 위한 비전 및 전략 등이 제시되어 왔으나, 부처별 입장에서 제시되는 한계점을 보이고 있으며, 국가적인 차원에서의 스마트시티 조성을 위한 비전과 핵심전략이 설정될 필요가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 국내 스마트시티의 현황 분석과 문제점 분석을 통하여 스마트시티 조성을 위한 비전을 설정하였다. 또한 국내외 스마트시티 현황 분석 및 문헌고찰을 통하여 STEEP 분석을 실시하고, 이를 기반으로 인과지도를 작성하여, 스마트시티 비전 달성을 위한 주요전략들을 도출하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 스마트시티 비전 및 주요전략들은 성공적인 스마트시티 조성을 위한 방향 설정에 기여할 수 있을 것이다. Due to rapid urbanization around the world, various social problems and side effects are occurring. Accordingly, the creation of smart city is being promoted to improve the quality of life of citizens and promote sustainable urban development. In Korea, visions and strategies for the creation of smart city have been presented for each ministry within the government. But they are proposed from the standpoint of each ministry, not from the national level. Therefore, it is necessary to establish a vision and core strategies at the national level. In this study, the problems of Korea smart city were derived, and a smart city vision was established as a solution. In addition, STEEP analysis was conducted through Korea and overseas smart city status analysis and literature review, and based on this, CLDs (Causal Loop Diagrams) were drawn up to derive major smart city strategies. The smart city vision and major strategies proposed in this study are expected to be helpful in setting the direction for future successful smart city creation.

        창고의 복도형 오더 피킹 시스템의 'Golden Zone' 운영과 경로 최적화 알고리즘 효과 비교

        자동차 보수용 부품 창고 운영에서 오더 피킹 작업은 대부분 노동력에 의존하는 작업이다. 자동차 보수용 부품 창고는 수십만 품목을 저정하고 있는데, 일반적으로 파레토의 80대 20의 법칙과 같이 저장된 품목의 20%가 80%의 물동량을 일으키고 있다. 이를 효율적으로 운영하기 위하여 고순환 품목은 불출장 근처에 배치하여 운영 효율을 높이게 되는데, 불출장 근처의 고순환 품목 저장 공간을 Golden Zone이라 한다. 오더 피킹 경로를 효율적으로 결정하는 것은 생산성 및 인건비와 직접적인 연관 관계가 있다. 하지만 많은 기업에서는 단순한 방법론을 적용하고 있는 것이 현실이다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 오더 피킹 휴리스틱 및 경로 최적화 알고리즘을 현실적으로 적용하면 어떤 효과를 얻을 수 있는지 여러 가지 상황에 대한 시뮬레이션 실험을 진행하였다. 특히 Golden Zone 운영이 오더 피킹 작업의 생산성에 미치는 영향을 각 경로 최적화 알고리즘과 같이 비교 분석하였다. 분석 결과 최적화 알고리즘은 가장 단순한 방법론 대비 최소 17.2%의 개선 효과 기대할 수 있으며 Golden Zone 운영은 어떤 경로 최적화 알고리즘을 적용하더라도 효과적임을 확인하였다. In this paper, we describe a series of computational experiments over a set of test cases where, we compared various previously existing routing heuristics to an optimal algorithm. We focus on examining the influence of the golden zone on the performance and selection of routing methods. The results obtained show that the optimal routing method increases the productivity at least 17.2%, and all the routing methods have better performance as the pick up rate from the golden zone increases.

        Recently, the smart city market based on the 4th industrial revolution is rapidly expanding worldwide and is being promoted in various ways. Korea has promoted various smart city public and private partnership projects, but there were limits to the activation of smart city public and private partnership projects due to insufficient enactment and revision of laws, public-oriented ordering method, and lack of private execution capacity. Therefore, this study intends to suggest key success factors for each stage of smart city public and private partnership projects through the analysis of the order status of the smart city national pilot city and the analysis of previous research. Through this, it is expected that it will be possible to eliminate various types of risks that may occur in the domestic smart city public and private partnership projects and contribute to revitalizing the smart city public and private partnership projects.

        VE is one of the technologies that are essential to promote cost reduction and performance improvement in construction projects. In the VE process, there are very important steps in deciding whether to adopt VE ideas and alternatives or not. However, when examining the possibility of selecting and adopting alternatives, it is difficult to clarify the differences and characteristics of the existing and improved proposals due to lack of understanding of the owner and inadequate consideration of harmonization with the alternative surroundings. In order to overcome these problems, it is necessary to effectively exchange information related to alternatives among VE participants and to examine the applicability of VE alternatives more in-depth. Therefore, in this study, a process for reviewing the applicability of VE Alternatives using BIM based VR was proposed to review more appropriate VE alternatives.

        VE is one of the most effective technologies to increase the value of construction projects. In the VE process, the VE team decides whether to select and adopt the VE alternative through the process of reviewing its applicability with the decision-maker, the client, and the original design team. In this important process, there are difficulties such as reviewing floorplan information, material, quality information, and clash detection. In addition, communication and information delivery between VE participants is inefficient due to several reasons such as lack of owner’s understanding regarding the VE alternative and insufficient consideration of harmony between the alternative and it’s surrounding. In order to improve this, there is a need for improvement in reviewing the applicability of VE alternatives while effectively exchanging its related information among VE participants. Thus, in this study, the problem of applicability review of VE alternatives was derived through the analysis of prior research. Accordingly, the reasons for rejecting other VE alternatives were identified, suggesting an improvement in reviewing the applicability of VE alternatives using BIM-based VR.
