        개에서 심장사상충증의 대동맥 이소기생

        Unknown age, spayed female mixed dog was presented with a severe lethargy. Radiography, ultrasonography, and blood screen test were performed to make a diagnosis. There were no specific radiographic findings. On the ultrasonography, small amount of ascites was found around gallbladder and hepatic vein was dilated approximately 6.1 mm. Blood screen test revealed a severe anemia. Result of heartworm ELISA kit was positive. At necropsy, parasites were in the left atrium, right ventricles, aorta, pulmonary artery, right renal artery.

        개에서 비만세포종과 관련된 기복증의 초음파학적 진단례

        A 7-year-old female maltese dog with anorexia and vomiting for a week, and left axillary and perineal mass was admitted to Gyeongsang National University Veterinary Teaching Hospital. CBC revealed mild leukocytosis and severe anemia. Abdominal radiography revealed multiple gas opacities in upper abdomen. On ultrasonography, large amount of echogenic free abdominal fluid were detected. In addition, There are enhanced peritoneal strip sign (EPSS)indicating peumoperitoneum in the upper abdomen. Fine needle aspiration of the mass was performed and the result was mast cell tumor. Duodenal perforation caused by mast cell tumor was identified on laparotomy.

        Effect of Different CT Scanner Types and Beam Collimations on Measurements of Three-Dimensional Volume and Hounsfield Units of Artificial Calculus Phantom

        The objective of this study was to evaluate the differences and reproducibility of Hounsfield unit (HU)value and volume measurements on different computed tomography (CT) scanner types and different collimations byusing a gelatin phantom. The phantom consisting of five synthetic simulated calculus spanning diameters from 3.0mm to 12.0 mm with 100 HU was scanned using a two-channel multi-detector row CT (MDCT) scanner, a fourchannelMDCT scanner, and two 64-channel MDCT scanners. For all different scanner types, the thinnest possiblecollimation and the second thinnest collimation was used. The HU values and volumes of the synthetic simulatedcalculus were independently measured three times with minimum intervals of 2 weeks and by three experiencedveterinary radiologists. ANOVA and Scheffé test for the multiple comparison were performed for statistical comparisonof the HU values and volumes of the synthetic simulated calculus according to different CT scanner types and differentcollimations. The reproducibility of the HU value and volume measurements was determined by calculating Cohen’sk. The reproducibility of HU value and volume measurements was very good. HU value varied between differentCT scanner types, among different beam collimations. However, there was not statistically significant difference. Thepercent error (PE) decreased as the collimation thickness decreased, but the decrease was statistically insignificant. In addition, no statistically significant difference in the PEs of the different CT scanner types was found. It can beconcluded that the CT scanner type insignificantly affects HU value and the volumetric measurement, but that a thinnercollimation tends to be more useful for accurate volumetric measurement.

        교육시설물의 전기에너지 사용량에 따른 운영예산 관리방안

        The 7th education reform in 1997 has led changes in the way buildings were constructed and such changes drove educational facilities to steadily consume more energy every year. Also, these facilities take several years’ estimated expenditure as well as the increased unit price of electricity into account when planning their annual operating budget. Such circumstances may adversely affect the establishment of their budget plan since improper allocation of operating costs could take place. To propose educational facilities’ operating budget management plan on electrical energy consumption, this study developed a model that help oversee the facilities’ consumption of electrical energy. For the model development, the primary core variables related to electrical energy factors from the aspects of surroundings, physics, policy, etc. were derived from taking both literature research and the characteristics of these facilities into account. The secondary core variables were then derived using the correlation analysis. Lastly, the electric energy use prediction model was developed by performing regression analysis based on the derived secondary core variables.

        개에서 간관내 담석의 영상의학적 진단례

        A 6-year-old, intact female mixed dog was referred to Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital of Gyeongsang National University due to vomiting, anorexia, depression of 1 month's duration. On abdominal radiography, numerous irregularly marginated mineralized branching structures were present within the liver. On ultrasonography, irregular hyperechoic spots with an strong acoustic shadow was identified, but evidence of ductal dilatation was absent. Based on radiography and ultrasonography, intrahepatic gallstones were diagnosed incidentally.

        In vitro Estimation of The Hounsfield Units and The Volume and Void of Canine Struvite Stones as Predictors of Fragility in Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy

        The aim of this study was to determine whether Hounsfield units (HUs), volume, and various void parameters can predict stone fragility in extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL). HU, volume, porosity, number of voids/ stone volume, and void distribution of 30 struvite stones were estimated using helical computed tomography (CT) and micro-CT. The number of shock waves necessary for full fragmentation was accepted as a measure of the stone fragility in ESWL. The correlations between the number of shock waves and the HU, volume, porosity, and number of voids/stone volume were examined. The number of shock waves of the two groups according to the void distribution was also compared. Stone volume correlated with the number of shock waves. Shell-patterned struvite stones were significantly less susceptible to fragmentation in ESWL than non-shell-patterned struvite stones. Stone volume and void distribution may be predictors of the outcome of ESWL treatment.

        스마트시티 조성을 위한 비전 및 주요전략 도출

        전 세계적으로 급속한 도시화로 인하여 각종 사회문제와 부작용 등이 발생하고 있다. 이에 따라 시민의 삶의 질을 향상시키고 지속가능한 도시개발을 위하여 스마트시티 조성이 추진되고 있다. 국내에서도 각 부처별로 스마트시티 조성을 위한 비전 및 전략 등이 제시되어 왔으나, 부처별 입장에서 제시되는 한계점을 보이고 있으며, 국가적인 차원에서의 스마트시티 조성을 위한 비전과 핵심전략이 설정될 필요가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 국내 스마트시티의 현황 분석과 문제점 분석을 통하여 스마트시티 조성을 위한 비전을 설정하였다. 또한 국내외 스마트시티 현황 분석 및 문헌고찰을 통하여 STEEP 분석을 실시하고, 이를 기반으로 인과지도를 작성하여, 스마트시티 비전 달성을 위한 주요전략들을 도출하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 스마트시티 비전 및 주요전략들은 성공적인 스마트시티 조성을 위한 방향 설정에 기여할 수 있을 것이다. Due to rapid urbanization around the world, various social problems and side effects are occurring. Accordingly, the creation of smart city is being promoted to improve the quality of life of citizens and promote sustainable urban development. In Korea, visions and strategies for the creation of smart city have been presented for each ministry within the government. But they are proposed from the standpoint of each ministry, not from the national level. Therefore, it is necessary to establish a vision and core strategies at the national level. In this study, the problems of Korea smart city were derived, and a smart city vision was established as a solution. In addition, STEEP analysis was conducted through Korea and overseas smart city status analysis and literature review, and based on this, CLDs (Causal Loop Diagrams) were drawn up to derive major smart city strategies. The smart city vision and major strategies proposed in this study are expected to be helpful in setting the direction for future successful smart city creation.

      • 디지털 트윈 기반 에너지 시뮬레이션 시스템 구현방안

        도시 인구 증가와 산업 기술의 발달에 따라 에너지 소비량이 증가하여, 에너지 관리에 대한 정부와 국민의 관심이 증가 되고 있다. 이에 따라, 본 연구에서는 디지털 트윈 기반으로 에너지 시뮬레이션 시스템을 구축하는 방안을 제안하였다. 디지털 트윈을 활용하면 실시간 스케줄 조정을 통한 에너지 시뮬레이션이 가능하며, 시뮬레이션 결과를 디지털 트윈으로 시각화 할 수 있기 때문에 사용자가 보다 효율적으로 에너지 관리를 할 수 있다. 또한, 본 연구에서 제안한 에너지 시뮬레이션 데이터 입력방법과 디지털 트윈을 활용한 에너지 시뮬레이션 시스템 구현 방안을 통해 도시차원에서의 에너지 통합관리를 실현하는데 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다.

        국내 스마트시티 민관합동사업 핵심성공요인 도출 - 국가시범도시 선도지구 발주사업을 중심으로 -

        Recently, the smart city market based on the 4th industrial revolution is rapidly expanding worldwide and is being promoted in various ways. Korea has promoted various smart city public and private partnership projects, but there were limits to the activation of smart city public and private partnership projects due to insufficient enactment and revision of laws, public-oriented ordering method, and lack of private execution capacity. Therefore, this study intends to suggest key success factors for each stage of smart city public and private partnership projects through the analysis of the order status of the smart city national pilot city and the analysis of previous research. Through this, it is expected that it will be possible to eliminate various types of risks that may occur in the domestic smart city public and private partnership projects and contribute to revitalizing the smart city public and private partnership projects.

        개에서 창상에 의해 발생한 다발성 폐낭포의 방사선학적 진단례

        Pulmonary bullae are air-filled spaces within the lung parenchyma that result from the destruction, dilatation and confluence of adjacent alveoli. Pulmonary bullae are found most often in healthy, middle aged, large breed or deep-chested dogs that have no previous history of lung disease and bulla may occur as a result of emphysema, inflammation or trauma. Clinical signs include respiratory distress, anorexia, depression and tachypnea. In this study, a dog with respiratory distress by traffic accident was diagnosed as pulmonary bullae with pneumothorax using radiography at Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital, GNU. In radiographs, various sized, smooth margin, well defined, oval shaped, gas or fluid filled multiple bullae are shown in the left cranial, left caudal and right accessory lobes. At the initial stage of observation, there were indications of four bullae, two of which were not found in the following radiograph. At the same time, there were serious indications of lung consolidation that caused respiratory distress of patient. Ultimately, the patient was expired after ten hours.
