        경미한 급성 두부외상환자에서 SPECT , q - EEG 및 CT의 비교

        Functional cerebral impairments have been verified objectively by brain SPECT and q-EEG (quantitative electroencephalography). Microcerebral circulatory defects without anatomical changes cannot be detected by the brain CT or MRI. Brain SPECT using Tc-99m-HMPAO (Hexamethyl propyleneamine oxime) as a key radioisotope may be accepted as the useful method for identifying functional cerebral impairments. We studied 25 patients with mild head trauma to define whether the SPECT was helpful in detecting cerebral impairment. Results were as follows: The SPECT was positive in 23 patients out of 25, q-EEG positive in 16 patients and brain CT was positive in 3 cases. SPECT and q-EEG were more sensitive than CT. SPECT would be more useful method than brain CT to investigate cerebral function after head injury.

        유아 수학 문장제 문제해결 과정 분석 : 의사결정나무 방법을 중심으로

        The purpose of this study was to examine children‘s mathematical word problem solving processes according to the affecting variables on them, especially by using decision tree analysis. The participants of this study were 346 children aged four through six, enrolling day-care centers or kindergartens in D or G cities. Study findings were as follow. In terms of the addition, both male and female children - aged six years through six years and six months, with high level of word problem solving abilities and language abilities - answered the questions correctly by using a direct-retrieval strategy. In contrast, male and female children - aged four years and six months through four years and 11 months, with both low level of word problem solving abilities and language abilities - reached correct answers by using a counting all strategy. In terms of the subtraction, among the children with high level of language and computation abilities, aged six years through six years and six months, male children solved the problems successfully by using a direct-retrieval strategy, while female children by a direct-retrieval and separate from strategy. Among the children with low level of language and computation abilities, aged four years through four years and 11 months, both male and female children failed to solve the problems by using a no response strategy. These findings suggested that children should be provided with educational environments with a variety of mathematical experiences and therefore they could naturally improve and expand their mathematical abilities and solving strategies through the experiences.

        유아 수학 문장제 문제해결 과정의 문제해결 전략 및 오류유형 분석

        본 연구는 유아 수학 문장제 문제해결 과정에서 유아가 사용하는 문제해결 전략 및 오류유형이 관련변인들(성별, 연령, 언어능력, 연산능력)에 따라 차이가 있는지를 살펴보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 D광역시와 G도의 유치원과 어린이집에 다니는 만 4∼6세 유아 346명을 대상으로 연구를 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 연령과 성별에 따른 수학 문장제 문제해결 전략은 덧셈과 뺄셈 모두에서 유의미한 차이가 있었으며, 오류유형은 성별은 뺄셈에서, 연령은 덧셈과 뺄셈 모두에서 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 언어능력과 연산능력에 따른 문제해결 전략은 덧셈과 뺄셈 모두에서 유의미한 차이가 나타났으며, 언어능력과 연산능력에 따른 오류유형도 덧셈과 뺄셈 모두에서 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 유아가 수학 문장제 문제를 해결하는 과정에서 나타나는 문제해결 전략과 오류유형의 정보를 제공하는 본 연구결과는 개별 유아의 발달에 적합한 수학 문장제 학습 방안과 지도방법 모색의 기초 자료를 제공한다. The purpose of this study was to examine children’s mathematical word problem solving processes according to the affecting variables (gender, age, language abilities, and computation abilities). The participants of this study were 346 children aged four through six, enrolling day-care centers or kindergartens in D or G cities. The study results were as follows. First, children’s mathematical word problem solving strategies used in subtraction questions showed significant differences according to age and gender. Significant differences were also observed in error types according to gender as were in all types of addition and subtraction questions according to age. Second, both children’s mathematical word problem solving strategies and error types showed significant differences in solving all types of addition and subtraction questions according to language abilities and computation abilities.

        유아 수학 문장제 문제해결력 검사도구 개발 및 유아 수학 문장제 문제해결력과 유아의 연령, 언어능력, 연산능력 간의 관계 연구

        The present study aimed to develop a measurement tool for children`s mathematical word problem solving abilities and to test its validity. Using the measurement tool, this study also examined the relationship among children`s mathematical word problem solving abilities, ages, language abilities, and computation abilities. To this end, first, this study analyzed 58 mathematical word problem questions in the first grade elementary school math and activity books. Based on the analysis, this study developed a measurement tool for children`s mathematical word problem solving abilities and then tested its validity by 310 children aged four through six. Second, this study assessed, by using the measurement tool, mathematical word problem solving abilities of 131 four through six year olds children in D and G cities, and then found out the relationships among children`s mathematical word problem solving abilities, ages, language abilities, and computation abilities. Study results are as follows. First, the measurement tool for children`s mathematical word problem solving abilities developed in this study was verified as a reliable and valid tool in terms of both adequacy of the items (passing rate, item-discrimination, and item-total correlation) and adequacy of the measurement tool (reliability and validity). Second, children`s mathematical word problem solving abilities showed positive co-relations with children`s ages, language abilities, and computation abilities. In addition, the results of stepwise regression analysis showed that children`s language abilities affected most on children`s mathematical word problem solving abilities, followed by children`s computation abilities.

        영화를 이용한 교수요목의 구체화 작업

        As an effective way to teach or learn English, movies have been an attractive tool for both teachers and students. However, in the current market, it is difficult to find adequate materials for screen English which meet specific needs and wants. As a result, it has become inevitable for teachers to devise their own lesson plans based on students' language goals. In order to make a satisfactory lesson plan, teachers should first choose a movie based on student interest. Secondly, teachers should consider students' age, level, and language goals. Thirdly, the methodology should depend on what students want to learn from the movie. Teachers can then select language activities relevant to students' wants. Finally, since it is authentic material, teachers have to use the movie and script as many times as possible.

        유아 수학능력과 관련 변인들 간의 관계 분석

        This study analyzes the structural relationship among variables considered to affect young children`s mathematical abilities. The variables addressed in the study include children`s individual variables, home environment variables, and teachers` individual variables. Data for the study were collected from the results of math tests and surveys carried out by 210 children aged 4 through 6 enrolling in kindergartens or child care centers in either Daegu or Gyungbuk province. The children`s parents and teachers also participated in the surveys. SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0 programs were used for correlation and structural equation modeling, respectively. The study results are as follows. First, children`s individual variables, home environmental variables, and teacher`s individual variables show significant relationships with the children`s mathematical abilities. Second, the three variables also showed direct causal relationships with the children`s mathematical abilities, with children`s individual variables being the most influential among the three. The findings suggest the need to develop better teaching strategies and practical guidance for the improvement of children`s individual variables. The limitations of the study and directions for further research are discussed.
