Gelatin hydrogels are attracted attention in biomedical and pharmaceutical fields due to their biocompatibility, biodegradability, non-toxicity, and cost-effectiveness etc. Despite these advantages, poor mechanical properties and thermal instability greatly limit the longterm use of gelatin hydrogels for practical applications. To overcome these limitations, dually crosslinked hydrogels were developed by imparting chemical crosslinking to existing physical crosslinked gelatin networks using oxidized succinoglycan (OSG) as a macromolecular crosslinker. The synthesized OSG crosslinked gelatin hydrogels (OSG/Gel) showed 1040% mechanical improvement in storage modulus (G’) compared to that of pure gelatin hydrogel. Also, chemical crosslinking induced by OSG increased thermal stability of gelatin hydrogel to the extent that it did not degrade at 70°C, confirmed by oscillatory temperature ramp experiments. This resultant OSG/Gel have potential for long-term use in biomedical applications.
Endoscopic Treatment of an Isolated Diffuse Hyperplastic Gastric Polyposis Containing Adenocarcinoma

Gastric hyperplastic polyps constitute one of the most common types of polyp in patients undergoing an upper endoscopy, and are found with a frequency as high as 60% of all polyps. However, isolated diffuse hyperplastic gastric polyposis is seldom reported. Here, we present a case of isolated diffuse hyperplastic gastric polyposis in a 30-year-old man who was investigated for iron deficiency anemia during routine screening. Esophagogastroduodenoscopy revealed numerous polyps on the antrum of the stomach, and the polyps were removed completely by endoscopic polypectomy. An adenocarcinoma that arose from a large hyperplastic polyp was found after its removal. This case suggests that despite the rarity of isolated diffuse hyperplastic gastric polyposis, it can be managed by endoscopic treatment.
대규모 물류의 자동화된 적재 프로세스를 위한 딥러닝 기반 화물 인식 및 분류 방법

Automation of logistics center has a significant impact on industrial productivity. Currently, bottlenecks are frequently occurring due to human intervention in the loading and unloading processes of logistics. Thus, research for logistics automation has been continuously proposed mainly focused on cargo recognition and classification. However, there have been some limitations such as limited variety of compatible cargo dimensions and difficulty in continuous cargo recognition. To solve this problem, we propose a comprehensive cargo recognition and classification process to calculate the volume of cargo continuously fed onto a conveyor belt and classify the type of cargo. The volume calculation accuracy and classification accuracy of the test cargoes were approximately 93% and 98%, respectively. In addition, in continuous cargo loading tests considering the actual logistics center environment, volume calculation accuracy and classification accuracy were approximately 87% and 100%, respectively.

결합조직형성 소원형세포종양은 주로 소아나 젊은 연령의 남성에서 발생하는 드문 종양으로 비교적 최근에 독립된 질환으로 분류되었으며, 아직 표준화된 치료법이 없는 예후가 나쁜 암이다. 저자들은 고용량의 복합항암화학 요법 외에도 방사선치료 그리고 두 차례의 수술의 적극적인 국소 요법을 병행하여 만 23개월째 무질병 상태로 생존한 환자 1예를 경험하였으며, 처음부터 완전한 근치적 절제가 불가능한 경우라도 고용량의 항암화학 요법에 반응이 있는 경우 적극적인 국소 치료의 병행이 환자의 생존을 연장시키는 중요한 치료 전략임을 강조하고자 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. A desmoplastic small-round-cell tumor (DSRCT) is a rare, aggressive neoplasm that develops mostly in the abdominal cavity in children and young adults. We present a case of a 19-year-old male with right upper quadrant discomfort for 3 months. On abdominal computerized tomography, multiple huge and demarcated masses were found in the liver, retroperitoneal lymph nodes, and peritoneal and retroperitoneal cavities. Fine needle aspiration biopsy of the hepatic mass was performed and DSRCT was diagnosed by hematoxylin and eosin staining and immunohistochemical analysis. He was treated initially with high-dose systemic chemotherapy (alternating schedules of cyclophosphamide, vincristine, doxorubicin, ifosfamide, and etoposide), underwent two debulking surgeries and pelvic irradiation between systemic chemotherapy schedules, and achieved complete remission after the 15 months of treatment duration. We report this case to emphasize the importance of aggressive local treatment modalities as well as high-dose systemic chemotherapy for treatment of DSRCT even with initially unresectable or extensively metastatic presentation.
Human‐like sign‐language learning method using deep learning

This paper proposes a human‐like sign‐language learning method that uses a deep‐learning technique. Inspired by the fact that humans can learn sign language from just a set of pictures in a book, in the proposed method, the input data are pre‐processed into an image. In addition, the network is partially pre‐trained to imitate the preliminarily obtained knowledge of humans. The learning process is implemented with a well‐known network, that is, a convolutional neural network. Twelve sign actions are learned in 10 situations, and can be recognized with an accuracy of 99% in scenarios with low‐cost equipment and limited data. The results show that the system is highly practical, as well as accurate and robust.
차량 탑재형 상·하역 장비의 설계와 딥러닝 객체 인식을 이용한 자동제어 방법

Large warehouses are building automation systems to increase efficiency. However, small warehouses, military bases, and local stores are unable to introduce automated logistics systems due to lack of space and budget, and are handling tasks manually, failing to improve efficiency. To solve this problem, this study designed small loading and unloading equipment that can be mounted on transportation vehicles. The equipment can be controlled remotely and is automatically controlled from the point where pallets loaded with cargo are visible using real-time video from an attached camera. Cargo recognition and control command generation for automatic control are achieved through a newly designed deep learning model. This model is designed to be optimized for loading and unloading equipment and mission environments based on the YOLOv3 structure. The trained model recognized 10 types of palettes with different shapes and colors with an average accuracy of 100% and estimated the state with an accuracy of 99.47%. In addition, control commands were created to insert forks into pallets without failure in 14 scenarios assuming actual loading and unloading situations.
Self-healing Gelatin-Oxidized Sodium Alginate/Poly(acrylamide) Double Network Hydrogel

Self-healing hydrogels have drawn significant attention because they can respectively result in longer lifespans and highly enhanced mechanical performances than classical hydrogels. Here, a self-healable double network hydrogel was developed using reversible imine formation network between aldehyde groups of oxidized sodium alginate (OSA) and amines of gelatin (GLT) chains as the first and poly (acrylamide) (PAAm) as the second network covalently crosslinked by allyl β-cyclodextin ether (ACE). The self-healable double network hydrogel held its loading energy, unloading energy, and ability to dissipate energy constant despite 10 cycles of compression tests at 80% strain. Besides, the mechanical strength was higher than a double network hydrogel for which N,N′-methylenebisacrylamide (MBA) is used as a second network crosslinker.
2P-109 Self-healing Hydrogels Based on the Lysine and Sodium Alginate by Imine Crosslinking Reaction

Self-healing hydrogels have drawn significant attention because it can result in longer lifespans and more applications than classical hydrogels. Here, a self-healable hydrogel was formed via reversible imine formation between aldehyde groups of oxidized sodium alginate (OSA) and amino groups of Lysine. We also added the functionalized β-cyclodextin (βCD) into the gel to confer new functionality. The structure and the mechanical performances of hydrogels were characterized by FT-IR, SEM, a rheometer, and a tensile testing machine. Also, drug delivery of the hydrogels was performed to investigate potential use in biomedical field.
