Isoproterenol에 의한 자궁근 이완의 기전 : 4-aminopyridine-sensitive K<sup>+</sup> 채널의 개방

Activation of $K^+$ channels induces relaxation of smooth muscles by reducing electrical excitability and cytosolic free $Ca^{2+}$ level. ${\beta}$-adrenergic agonist isoproterenol is known to induce relaxation of the uterine smooth muscle by membrane hyperpolarization and $K^+$ efflux. Recently it is suggested that the activity of $Ca^{2+}$-activated $K^+$ channel was increased by isoproterenol in the uterine myocytes isolated from myometrium of the pregnant rat. However, the type of $K^+$ channel mediating the relaxant effect of isopreterenol in the tissue level has not yet studied. In this work, we investigated the type of $K^+$ channels involved in the isoproterenol-induced relaxation of uterine smooth muscle by measuring the integrated insometric tension of the estrogen-treated isolated nonpregnant rat uterus. Contraction of uterine tissue was induced by oxytocin (0.2nM, 2~3 contractions/min) or high KCl(20~80mM). The result are as follows : 1. Isoproterenol($10^{-10}{\sim}10^{-4}M$) inhibited oxytocin-induced contraction of isolated rat uterus($EC_{50}=1.17{\times}10^{-10}M$). 2. Isoproterenol($10^{-10}{\sim}10^{-4}M$) effectively inhibited uterine contraction induced by low KCl(20~40mM) but little those induced by high KCl(60~80mM). 3. Relaxant effect of isoproterenol($10^{-10}{\sim}10^{-4}M$) on 0.2nM oxytocin-induced contraction was effectively reduced by 4-aminopyridine(3, 10mM) but little by TEA(10~30mM), $Ba^{2+}$($1{\sim}30{\mu}M$) and glibenclamide($100{\mu}M$). Our data suggest that the relaxant effect of isoproterenol is mediated by the $K^+$ channel(s) which can be blocked by 4-aminopyridine.

The red yeast Phaffia rhodozyma, which contains astaxanthin(3, 3'-dihydroxy-$\beta$, $\beta$-carotene-4, 4'-dione) as its primary carotenoid, was tested as a dietary pigment source for egg yolks of laying hens. When the yeast was fed to laying hens at several concentrations, the intensity of redness in egg yolks was dependent on the yeast concentration in the feed and the deposition period. Addition of P rhodozyma in feed did not cause any visible adverse effect on laying hens.
터보팬 엔진 블레이드의 MIL-E-5007D 요구도 기반 비선형 조류충돌 해석

본 연구에서는 고속으로 회전하는 터보팬 엔진 블레이드에 대해 SPH 조류 모델을 활용한 비선형 조류 충돌해석을 수행하였다. 조류 형상과 밀도는 데이터에 기반한 자동계산 기법을 구축 및 적용하였으며, 기존 조류충돌 시험 모델에 대한 해석을 수행하여 비선형 충돌해석 기법의 사전 검증을 수행하였다. 국내에서 설계된 엔진 블레이드에 대해 MIL-E-5007D에서 요구하는 다양한 엔진 운용상황에 따른 조류충돌 해석을 수행하고 결과를 제시하였으며, 각 요구조건에 대한 충돌 후 건전성을 평가하였다. For the bird shape and density, an automatic calculation technique based on the semi-empirical data was established and applied, and the bird strike test model was analyzed in order to perform preliminary verification of the present nonlinear bird strike analysis approach. For a designed engine blade, various engine operation conditions required by MIL-E-5007D have been successfully considered and analyzed numerically, and structural integrities for each requirement are evaluated.
층간분리 효과를 고려한 복합재 핀의 비선형 천음속 플러터 해석

본 논문에서는 층간분리 현상을 고려한 복합재 미사일 핀의 비선형 천음속 플러터 해석을 수행하였다. 층간분리 효과를 고려한 유한요소 진동해석 기법은 시험 결과와 비교 및 검증하였다. 비선형 천음속 플러터 해석은 자체 개발한 천음속 미소교란 방정식 기반의 시간영역 플러터 해석 프로그램을 개선하여 복합재 날개의 층간분리 효과까지 고려할 수 있도록 확장하여 활용하였다. 복합재 미사일 핀 모델에 대해 층간분리 영역에 따른 아음속, 천음속 및 초음속 플러터 해석을 수행하고 층간분리 영향에 따른 공력탄성학적 특성을 고찰하였다. In this paper, nonlinear transonic flutter analyses of a composite missile fin considering the effect of delamination are conducted. An effective modal analysis methodology is adopted and verified with the experimental modal test data for laminated composite plates with delamination. Extended version of the in-house computational aeroelastic analysis program with the transonic small-disturbance (TSD) code is used in order to predict the flutter dynamic pressure of the delaminated composite fin models. In the subsonic, transonic, and supersonic flow regions, nonlinear time-domain flutter analyses are performed for various delamination conditions, and aeroelastic characteristics due to the delamination phenomena are examined in detail.

In this study, the design and verification of small V-shaped vertical-axis wind turbine (VAWT) has been conducted using advanced CAE technique based on computational fluid dynamics (CFD), finite element method (FEM). Also, optimized airfoil shapes are investigated and numerically tested to obtain best aerodynamic power characteristic and several blade models with different geometric parameters are tested in order to yield maximized performance of the developed VAWT model. The prototypes of optimized VAWT models are constructed by our research team and effectively tested by vehicle mounted testing system (VAWT) during short period. Related computational results for aerodynamic, structural, and vibration analyses are presented and typical power curve of the developed model is presented as well<br/> <br/>
