In the present work, it has been found that chromate ions could be recovered using lanthanide ions as precipitates from Cr-containing wastewater by addition of alkaline materials. The amount of chromate ions recovered was increased as concentration of lanthanide ions increased. In order to precipitate the chromate ions, pH must be adjusted to 8∼9 after adding the lanthanide ions into the solution. It can be concluded that highly-concentrated chromate solution could be recovered from the wastewater when the precipitate obtained by the addition of lanthanide(Ⅲ) ions retreated with a small amount of acid.
무선 ATM LAN 환경에서 경로 확장 기법의 루프 제거 및 경로 최적화 알고리즘 연구

본 논문에서 무선 ATM LAN 환경에서 기지국 기반 기법의 루프 제거 및 경로 최적화 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안하는 경로 최적화 알고리즘은 다각 루프 제거법과 삼각 루프 제거법의 두 단계로 이루어져 있다. 단말기의 이동각을 고려한 순서쌍의 기념을 도입하여 핸드오버하는 단말기의 위치를 표현하고, 계산된 순서쌍을 이용하여 경로 최적화를 수행한다. 우리는 핸드오버 지연 시간, 통신 단절 시간, 버퍼 요구량, 그리고 총시그널링 교환 시간 등을 이용하여 제안하는 기법과 앵커 재라우팅 기법을 비교하였다. 이러한 비교 평가를 통하여 제안하는 기법이 경로 확장 기법의 장점인 빠른 핸드오버를 보장하면서 경로 상에서 발생하는 루프의 제거와 경로의 최적화를 효과적으로 수행할 수 있음을 보였다. There has been increasing interest in broadband services to mobile terminals. Wireless ATM will be used to support broadband services for future generation mobile service. We propose an algorithm for handover in wireless ATM LANs. We have studied how to treat the loop cancellation and optimization of path extension handover scheme, and present path optimization algorithms : polyangular loop cancellation and triangular loop cancellation. We express the location of MT(mobile terminal) by direction angle, and the direction angles can be converted into direction vectors. Using direction vectors, we can find the current optimal path of MT. The analysis and the experimental results show that the proposed scheme provides the better performance than that of anchor rerouting scheme in average handover delay, handover disruption delay, and buffer requirements.
폐기물매립지 Clay Liner 복합재료로서의 벤토나이트의 응용

In the present work, physical and chemical properties of bentonites deposited in Korea was evaluated for the application of zeolitic bentonite to liner materials for landfill sites. Bentonites composite liner system (BCL) was developed using the liner materials and the resistance of the system was also evaluated. The swelling properties of the bentonites treaded with soda ash were improved by 200∼300% compared to untreated ones. Field testings also showed that the hydraulic conductivity of the present system was higher than 1×10-7 cm/s, which is minimum requirement for the liner systems.

The t(9;22)(q34;q11.2) translocation results in a BCR-ABL1 fusion gene located on the Philadelphia chromosome (Ph), causing a constitutively active BCR-ABL1 tyrosine kinase. This fusion gene is found in virtually all cases of CML, 5% of pediatric and 15-30% of adult cases of ALL, and 1-2% of cases of de novo AML [1-3]. While mixed phenotype acute leukemia (MPAL) with t(9;22)(q34;q11.2) is rare, this translocation is the most common recurrent genetic abnormality seen in MPAL [4].
