        16주 스텝-밴드 운동이 전기·후기 노인의 체구성과 SFT에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of step-band exercise on body composition and SFT(Senior Fitness Test) in the Young-Old(YOA, n=13) and the Old-Old Adults(OOA, n=19). The step-band exercise needed equipments-a steeper and a thera band was performed for 90 minutes, 2 times a week, for 16-week. Body composition, SFT were measured before and after the step-band exercise. To analyze effects of exercise results, Two-way repeated measures ANOVA was carried out by each variable. The statistical significance level was set for α=.05. The results of this study are as follows: First, Body weight, BMI and WHR significantly were decreased in all group after 16-week exercise(p<.05). BFM(body fat mass), %BF were significantly decreased in OOA after 16-week exercise(p<.05). But MM(muscle mass) was statistically increased in OOA(p<.05). Second, there was no significant an interaction related to SFT between a time and a group and the step-band exercise improved all measurements of SFT in all groups(p<.05). There was no significant differences between two groups(p<.05) in Arm curl, 2-Min step, back stretch area. These results suggest that step-band exercise improves body composition and SFT in young- and old-old adults. In this study, the step-band exercise was especially more effective to the OOA than the YOA.

        리듬 스텝 운동이 노인 여성들의 삶의 질에 미치는 효과

        이 연구의 목적은 리드미컬한 스텝운동이 노인 여성들의 삶의 질 증진에 미치는 효과를 실증하는 것이었다. 65세 이상의 여성 노인들을 한국 무용 동작을 응용한 스텝운동집단(21명)과 통제집단(14명)에 무선 할당하였다. 스텝운동집단의 노인들은 12주 동안 주 2회, 회당 20~30분의 리드미컬한 스텝운동에 참여하였다. 삶의 질의 평가는 건강 관련 삶의 질을 평가하는 단축형 건강 설문지(SF-8)와 여성 노인을 위해 개발된 운동자기효능감(SEE) 척도를 이용하였다. 노인들의 삶의 질 증진을 위해서는 운동 참여 및 운동 지속이 중요한데, 운동자기효능감은 노인들의 운동실천에 가장 강력한 예측 인자 중의 하나이다. 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같았다. 첫째, 리듬 스텝운동에 참여한 여성 노인들은 건강 관련 삶의 질이 향상되었다. 반면 통제집단의 여성 노인들은 건강 관련 삶의 질이 저하되었다. 둘째, 리듬 스텝운동집단의 여성 노인들은 운동자기효능감이 뚜렷하게 향상되었다. 반면 통제집단에서는 사전 값과 사후 값이 유사하였다. 마지막으로, 리듬 스텝운동 중재프로그램 처치 후 건강 관련 삶의 질과 운동자기효능감의 통계적으로 의미 있는 상관관계가 나타났다. 이상의 연구 결과를 종합해 볼 때, 우리나라 노인들의 정서 특성과 운동 지속 동기를 고려하여 개발된 리드미컬한 스텝운동은 노인 여성들의 삶의 질 증진에 효과적인 운동중재프로그램이었다. This study was designed to identify the effect of rhythmic step exercise in improving the quality of life in the older female population. The rhythmic step exercise intervention program was developed based on Korea traditional dance movement considering elderly women’s exercise motivation and the nature of Korea. The subjects in the rhythmic stepping group numbered 21, and there were 14 elderly women in the control group. All participants responded to the 8-item Short Form Health Survey(SF-8) measuring health-related quality of life and the Self-Efficacy for Exercise(SEE) Scale in pre and post testing. Data were collected for 12 weeks from March to May, 2014. Collected data were analyzed by two-way ANOVA with a repeated measure design to compare the means for two groups. Pearson’s correlation analysis was also conducted. The results of statistical analysis are summarized as follows. First, health-related quality of life has improved after exercising rhythmic step. On the other hand, health-related quality of life decreased in the control group. Second, exercise self-efficacy has improved after rhythmic step exercise. However, there was no change in exercise self-efficacy in the control group. Finally, there was a significant correlation between health-related quality of life and exercise self-efficacy only in the post-test of the rhythmic step exercise group. In conclusions, Based on Korea traditional dance movements, rhythmic step exercise intervention is able to improve the quality of life such as health-related quality of life and exercise self-efficacy in the elderly women.

      • Effect of 9 weeks' Step Exercise Training on the Cardiopulmonary Function in Young Women

        건강증진을 위한 운동계획은 개인에 맞게 개별화해야하므로 여성의 운동중재 계획을 개발하는데 있어 참고자료를 제공하기 위해 계단 운동의 훈련효과를 밝힐 목적으로 17~18세의 건강한 여학생3명에게 9주동안 규칙적으로 계단운동을 시킨 후 지구력능력수준, 최대운동 부하시의 심폐기능, 훈련하는동안 주관적으로 느끼는 힘든정도를 측정하여 훈련전과의 차이를 분석함으로써 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 훈련에 의해 지구력능력수준이 유의하게 증가했다. (p<0.05). 2. 훈련으로 최대산소섭취량이 유의하게 증가하였다. (p<0.01). 3. 훈련후 운동하는 동안 운동전반부의 심박동수가 훈련전에 비해 유의하게 낮았다. (p<0.1). 4. 훈련후 안정시 이완기 혈압이 유의하게 낮았고 운동하는동안 운동전반부의 수축기혈압과 이완기 혈압이 훈련전에 비해 유의하게 낮았다. (p<0.05). 5. 훈련후 운동전시간대에 걸쳐 폐환기량이 훈련전에 비해 유의하게 많았다. (p<0.05). 6. 훈련후 결과 환기 효율성이 증가했고 안정시 최대폐활량과 1초간의 최대폐활량이 유의하게 증가했다. (p<0.5). 7. 훈련후 운동하는동안 운동후반부의 호흡상이 훈련전에 비해 유의하게 낮았다. 8. 훈련시작시에 계단운동을 몹시 힘들게 느꼈으나 2주후부터 훈련말기까지는 약간힘들다고 느꼈다. 이상의 결과로보아 9주동안의 규칙적인 계단운동으로 지구력능력수준이 향상되고 순환기능과 조직의산소이용 능력이 증진되며 폐환기와 폐환기효율성이 증가되고 운동시 에너지 생산에 탄수화물 사용이 감소하며 주관적으로 느끼는 정도가 감소한다고 할 수 있겠다. To evaluate the training effect, the step exercise was performed by three female students for nine weeks. Harvard step score, oxygen uptake, heart rate, blood pressure, pulmonary ventilation, respiratory quotient and carbon dioxide output were determined before and after 9 weeks of the step exercise training. Ratings of perceived exertion were taken before training and at the end of every week throughtout training. Maximal exercise was performed on a treadmill before and after the training. Pre to post training differences were evaluated. The results obtained were as follows: 1. the endurance fitness level was increased significantly by the training. (p<0.05) 2. As a result of training, the maximal oxygen uptake increased significantly. (p<0.005) This may be partly due to a more complete extraction of oxygen from the arterial blood and partly due to an increased miximal cardiac output. 3. After the training the heart rate decreased during the early phase of maximal exercise. (p<0.1) 4. The systolic and diastolic pressure was lower during the early phase of exercise in the post training than in the pretraining. 5. Pulmonary ventilation increased significantly during exericse as a result of training. (p<0.05) 5. Pulmonary ventilation increased significantly during exercise as a result of training. (p<0.05) This improvements may partially be due to the increased oxygen extraction by the respiratory muscles. 6. After the training, forced vital capacity and forced expiratory volume per second increased significantly. (p<0.5) 7. Ventilatory efficiency was greater in the post training evaluation as a result of the training. After the training the subjects required less ventilation for each liter of oxygen consumed. 8. The respiratory quotient during the late phase of exercise decreased after the training. This may be due to the decreased carbohydrate consumption for energy production. 9. The subjects perceived the step exericse to be very hard at the start of training and somewhat hard after 2 weeks of training until the end of training. From these results, it may be concluded that the 9 week step exercise training enhances the endurance fitness level and improves the circulatory function, the tissue oxygen utilization, the pulmonary ventilation, the ventilatory efficiency, and reduces the ratings of perceived exertion and decrease carbohydrate consumption for energy production during the late phase of exercise.

        무릎관절염 여성노인 환자의 태권도 서기자세와 스텝박스 운동이 건강체력, 통증 및 성장호르몬에 미치는 영향

        Purpose The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of Taekwondo stading posture and step-box exercise on physical fitness, pain and growth hormone in arthritis elderly women. Methods In our study was conducted for arthritis elderly women who aged 65-75 and they spontaneously participated in this study. We divided them into two groups which one was exercise group (n=11) and the other one was control group (n=9). Our exercise program was consisted of standing posture of Taekwondo and step-box exercise which performed 3 times per week. This combined exercise program comprised of 60 min which was separated by warm-up (10 min), main exercise (40 min), cool-down (10 min) and we assigned to 20 min for main exercise, respectively. We used RPE (Rating of Perceived Exertion; RPE) for examined intensity of this exercise program. Result The results of this research are presented as follows. First, combined exercise program has been shown to have a significant impact on physical fitness in muscular strength, muscular endurance, right and left flexibility of lower body, cardiorepiratory endurance and pain, growth hormone has been indicated to have a interaction between each groups. Also, these results were decreased between pre and post in exercise group. Conclusion Therefore, our study have suggested that this mixed of standing posture of taekwondo and step-box exercise could positively effect on physical fitness, pain and growth hormone. This results should be used for clinical environment and we could proposal our combined exercise to another study who want to contribute to arthritis patient. 연구목적 본 연구의 목적은 태권도 서기자세와 스텝박스 운동을 통해 무릎관절염 노인 여성의 건강 체력을 증진하고 환자의 통증 완화와 성장호르몬에 긍정적 영향을 미쳐 골 관절 기능을 향상을 유도하여 무릎관절염 환자의 건강한 삶에 기여 하고자 한다. 연구방법 본 연구는 만 65세 이상 75세 이하의 여성노인을 대상으로 8주간 운동군(n=11), 대조군(n=9)으로 구분하여 운동군에게 태권도 서기자세와 스텝박스 운동을 실시하였다. 태권도 서기자세와 스텝박스 운동방법은 주 3회, 60분으로 준비운동 10분 태권도 서기자세 운동 20분, 스텝박스 운동 20분, 정리운동 10분으로 실시하였다. 결과 본 연구의 결과는 건강체력 중 골격근량, 근력, 근지구력, 오른쪽 유연성, 왼쪽 유연성, 심폐지구력에서 모두 그룹×시기 간 상호작용효과가 나타났고 운동 전·후 시기 간 차이에서 운동군이 유의한 증가를 나타내었다. 또한, 그룹 간 변화량에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 통증은 그룹×시기 간 상호작용 효과가 나타났으며 운동 전·후 시기 간 차이에서 운동군이 유의한 감소와 그룹 간 변화량에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 성장호르몬은 그룹×시기 간 상호작용 효과 및 운동 전·후 시기 간 차이에서 운동군이 유의하게 증가하였으며 그룹 간 변화량에서 유의한 차이를 나타내었다. 또한, 그룹 간 차이는 운동 후 유의한 차이가 나타났고, 변화량에서 운동군이 대조군보다 유의하게 증가하였다. 결론 이상의 결과를 종합해 볼 때 8주간의 태권도 서기자세와 스텝박스 운동이 무릎관절염 여성 노인환자의 건강체력, 통증 및 성장호르몬에 긍정적인 영향을 미친 것을 확인할 수 있었으며 이는 무릎관절염 환자에게 프로그램의 적절성을 보여주는 결과라 생각되며 추후 연구에서도 태권도 서기자세와 스텝박스 운동을 통해 또 다른 긍정적 결과를 도출할 수 있을 것이라 기대한다.

        Mobile Phone의 착용위치에 따른 운동 강도별 에너지소비량과 보행수의 타당성 연구

        Sedentary lifestyle and a lack of physical activity are critically associated with chronic diseases, mental health and mortality. Many health-related organizations have contributed to improving healthy lifestyle with evidencebased guideline for disease prevention. Simultaneously, since new innovative technology has emerged to promote healthy lifestyle, mobile phone has played a key role in promoting health. Mobile phone installed with a physical movement tracker may motivate and support physical activity effectively. However there is limited research about validity of use of mobile phone in different locations on improvement of physical activities. Thus the purpose of this study was to validate the use of mobile phone at different locations to affect total energy expenditure and steps in different intensity walking exercise. The study population was male students who consent to participate to the study (n=18). Their body composition such as height, weight, total body fat and muscle mass was measured. Oxygen consumption was measured during 5-minute walking/running on a treadmill at the speeds of 4km/h, 6km/h and 8km/h based on the exercise protocol offered by ACSM. Number of steps was assessed from records of steps on the application. A eligible movement tracker that would be used in Iphone 6+ was selected. Mobile phone was equipped at the locations of upper left-arm and a pocket of pants. The study used one-way ANOVA to estimate differences in energy expenditure. A validity test was assessed wtih Pearson’s correlation and Bland & Altman. As a result, there was a significant different of calorie consumption at different intensity (p<.05). Oxygen consumption was significantly different only in moderate-intensity walking when putting a phone at upper left-arm. Wearing phone on the upper left-arm showed significantly different number of steps by different intensity of exercise compared to having it in a pocket. In a validation test, two measurements showed a bias with different range of agreement limits. It indicates that different locations of mobile phone are associated with different measurement. The study found that putting a phone in a pocket may assess steps and energy consumption with better accuracy compared to wearing it on the upper arm. It may be explained by arm movement during different intensity activity. Higher intensity exercise moves more arms and legs and it may not show significant differences of energy consumptions and steps at different locations. It also indicates that number of steps showed increased trend as increased speeds of walking/running when putting it in a pocket. The further study is needed to evaluate energy consumption and number of steps in various forms of physical activity.         중년여성의 운동행동단계별 죽음에 대한 태도

        본 연구는 40대 이상 중년여성의 운동행동단계에 따른 현재 건강상태, 규칙적인 식습관 정도, 음식물 섭취 시 건강고려정도와 평소 건강관심도 및 건강지식 수준이 죽음에 대한 태도에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위하여 광역시 거주자 534명을 대상으로 조사연구를 실시한 결과 첫째, 운동유지단계는 즐겁고 활기찬 생활을 위해 운동을 통하여 건강을 유지하며 그 이전 단계의 경우는 운동 보다는 건강식품섭취나 의약품 복용 등과 같은 방법으로 건강관리를 하고 있다. 둘째, 건강관련 인식 수준은 운동유지단계가 가장 좋으며 운동 계획전단계의 경우 가장 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 운동행동유지단계와 준비단계에서는 건강지식수준이 높을수록 죽음에 대한 태도가 수용적이었으며, 운동행동단계와 계획전단계에서는 현재 건강상태가 좋지 않을수록 죽음에 대한 태도가 수용적이었다. 그러나 계획전단계에 있는 중년여성의 건강관련인식은 죽음에 대한 태도를 설명하지 못하였다. As a result of analyzing exercise behavior of middle-aged women, consequential the just health status, intaking food, eating habit, interest health, level of health information attitude toward death, they are as follows. First, exercise maintenance step is kept health through exercise for pleasant and active life. A case of its prior step is being managed health with a method such as taking health food or medicine rather than exercise. Second, the health-related recognition level was the best in exercise maintenance step. A case of the step before an exercise plan was indicated to be the lowest. Third, In exercise maintenance phase behavior and prepare phase attitude toward death was receptive in the better health condition and higher health knowledge level, In exercise behavior phase and before planning phase attitude death was receptive is better bad health condition worse. However In the before planning phase middle-aged women in recognition of the health-related attitudes about the death did not explain.

        자연과학편 : 스텝운동이 비만 중년여성의 대상증후군 지표와 인슐린 저항성 및 혈중 대사호르몬에 미치는 효과

        이 연구는 비만 중년여성을 대상으로 스텝운동을 수행하는 것이 대사증후군 지표와 인슐린 저항성 및 혈중 대사호르몬에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 체지방률 35% 이상의 비만 중년여성으로 스텝운동(&75% HRmax)을 12주 동안 주 5회 수행하였다. 연구결과, 스텝운동은 비만에서 증가되었던 체중, BM, 체지방률을 유의하게 감소시켰다. 대사증후군 지표의 위험요인인 허리둘레, 혈압, TG, HDIC 농도는 스텝운동후 유의하게 변화되어 대사증후군이 개선된 것으로 나타났다. 혈중 대사호르몬인 렙탄 인슐란 유리지방산과 인슐린 저항성에 좋은 지표로 활용할 수 있는 HOMA-IR, QUICK 수치는 12주 동안의 스텝운동 후 유의하게 변화 되었다. 결론적으로, 비만 중년여성을 대상으로 장기간 규칙적인 스텝운동을 수행하는 것은 비만을 억제하는 데 효과적인 방법이라고 할 수 있으며 인슐린 저항성 지표로서 대사증후군을 예측하는데 적용할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다 The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of step exercise(65-75% HRmax) on metabolic syndrome markers, insulin resistance and plasma metabolism-related hormone in obese middle-aged women. Exercise program was performed for 12 weeks and blood biochemical variables were analyzed before and after exercise training. From the results, there were significant differences between before and after step exercise. In the body composition there were significant difference on the body weight, %fat and BM were significantly decreased. In the metabolic syndrome markers there were significant difference on the waist circumference, blood pressure, plasma TG and glucose were significantly decreased, HDL-C was significantly increased. HOMA-IR, insulin, leptin and free fatty add were significantly decreased in step exercise after 12 weeks. QUIQQ was significantly increased. In conclusion, step exercise program in obese middle-aged women appears to be helpful for improving the obesity.

        일자 걷기운동이 과체중 초등학생의 보행각 및 기초운동능력에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study were to find out the effect of straight walking exercise of the over-weight elementary students, to offer basic reference data for remedy of step angles and the ability of basic exercise. This study was performed with 12 over-weight students(6 boys, 6 girls)who were executed before and after straight walking exercise which was carried out 8 weeks by 1,000m straight walking in 3 days per week. The following results were obtained: 1) After straight walking exercise, the remedy of step angles was significant difference between pre-test and post-test. 2) After straight walking exercise, there was significant difference irrespective of their sex in 50m run. 3) After straight walking exercise, no significant difference was found between the boy students and girl students in shuttle run 4) After straight walking exercise, boy students of the training group showed significant difference in 1000m walking, but girl students of the training group were not.

        한국 무용 동작을 응용한 스텝 운동이 노인 건강생활에 미치는 영향

        이 연구의 목적은 한국 무용 동작을 응용한 스텝운동이 노인의 낙상 효능감과 균형 자신감에 미치는 영향을 실증하는 것이었다. 65세 이상의 여성 노인들을 대상으로 한국 무용 동작에 기반을 둔 리드믹 스텝운동집단(23명)과 통제집단(15명)에 무선 할당하였다. 운동중재집단이 노인들은 9주 동안 주당 평균 2.67회씩 총 24회의 스텝운동에 참여하였으며, 운동중재 프로그램에 참여하기 전과 후에 낙상효능감과 균형 자신감을 측정하였다. 통계분석결과, 한국 무용 동작에 기반을 둔 스텝운동 중재프로그램에 참여한 노인들이 통제집단의 노인보다 낙상 효능감과 균형 자신감에서 더 높은 점수를 기록하였다. 한편, 낙상 효능감과 균형 자신감은 정적 상관관계를 나타냈는데, 운동중재집단의 사후측정에서 두 변수의 상관관계가 약화되는 경향을 보였다. 이러한 결과는 한국 무용에 기반을 둔 스텝운동 중재 프로그램이 노인의 낙상 효능감과 균형 자신감 증진 모두에 효과적이었다는 것을 의미하며, 추후 연구에서는 노인의 낙상 예방을 위한 운동중재 프로그램의 효과를 평가할 수 있는 최적의 척도를 확인하려는 시도가 필요하다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of Korea traditional dance-based step exercise on fall efficacy and balance confidence in the elderly. The subjects were 38 elderly women, who random assigned in one of Korea traditional dance-based stepping(23) and control group(15). The participants of intervention programs did exercise 20-30 minute per day, 2-3 trials per a week, during 9 weeks. They responded to Fall Efficacy Scale(FES) and Activities-specific Balance Confidence Scale(ABC) before and after completing exercise intervention. Collected data were analyzed using 2-way ANOVA with repeated measure on the test and Pearson correlations through SPSS 17.0 version. The results were as follows. First, the post-test score of fall efficacy had higher than pre-test score in the group of Korea traditional dance-based stepping. However, the score of pre-test was similar to that of post-test in the control group. Second, the post-test score of balance confidence had higher than pre-test score in the exercise intervention group of Korea traditional dance-based stepping. But, the score of pre-test was similar to that of post-test in the control group. Finally, there was significant positive correlations between fall efficacy and balance confidence. Especially, correlations coefficient of post-test had lower than that of pre-test in the intervention group. On the other hand, correlations coefficient of pre-test and post-test was relatively stable in the control group. In Total, these results means that Korea traditional dance-based step exercise is a effective intervention program in terms of enhancing fall efficacy and balance confidence in the elderly.

        Step-box 밸런스프로그램을 이용한 균형 운동이 급성기 뇌졸중 환자의 정적, 동적 균형 능력에 미치는 영향

        본 연구의 목적은 step-box 훈련이 급성 뇌졸중 환자의 정적 및 동적 균형능력에 미치는 영향을 규명하는 것이다. 연구대상은 A, B병원의 급성 뇌졸중 환자 30명으로 하였다. 연구대상은 Step-box를 적용한 soft surface 트레이닝 집단과 트레드밀 트레이닝 집단으로무선 배정하였다. 두 집단 모두 12주 동안 주 5회 1시간씩 훈련 프로그램에 참여하였다. 외발서기 균형검사로 정적 균형능력을 평가하였고, Balance system(Biodex medical, balance system sd)으로 동적 균형능력을 평가하였다. 통계분석은 각 변인의 data의 정규성 검증을 실시하여 정규성을 확인하였고 훈련프로그램 전·후 집단 간의 차이와 시간이 흐른 후(전·후) 집단 간의 차이를 분석하기 위해Repeated measures by ANOVA를 실시하였다. SBT 그룹에서 정적 균형능력에서는 유의한 차이를 보였으며 동적 균형능력(O.S.I, A/P I, M/L I)에서도 SBT 트레이닝 그룹에서 통계적 유의한 차이를 나타내었다. 따라서 이러한 결과를 종합해 볼 때, 12주간의 정적, 동적 균형능력을 위한 연약지반 동적 코어 안정화 훈련은 급성 뇌졸중 질환자의 동적 균형능력 향상에 효과적임을 알 수 있었다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of balance exercise training on step-box balance program on acute stroke patient's static and dynamic balance abilities. The subjects were thirty acute stroke patients who were receiving rehabilitation therapy in A, B Hospital. They were randomized to training group on soft surface with step-box balance and to non-training group. Both groups participated in training program five times a week for one hour over a 12 week. Static balance ability evaluated by one leg standing balance test and dynamic balance ability evaluated by Balance system (Biodex medical, balance system sd). SPSS 20.0 was used for statistical analysis (Repeated measures by ANOVA). The SBT (Soft surface training) group were significant differences in static balance ability and dynamic balance ability (O.S.I, A/P I, M/L I). The results provide out of the above outcomes, it became evident that the 12week balance exercise training on soft surface for static, dynamic balance ability is effective of acute patients to improve abilities for static and dynamic balance ability.
