        전시전문가 양성 활성화 방안 연구-전시전문 자격증 제도 도입을 중심으로-

        최근 전시산업은 종합적인 전략서비스 산업으로 발전하고 있지만, 국내 전시산업은 선진국에 비하여 여전히 경쟁력이 미흡한 상태이다. 향후 전시의 성공적인 개최 및 운영을 위해서는 전문성을 갖춘 인력과 이를 제도적으로 인증해 줄 수 있는 자격증 제도의 도입이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 전문가 양성에 필요한 자격증 제도 도입을 통하여 다음과 같이 전문가 양성 활성화 방안을 모색해 보고자 한다. 첫째, 전시전문 자격제도의 필요성은 산업계 종사자를 대상으로 설문 및 전화조사를 실시하였다. 주요 설문 내용은 자격증의 필요성, 운영방식 및 주체에 관한 응답, 취득 후 업계의 활용방안으로 구성하였다. 또한, 조사 결과를 바탕으로 산업계의 요구를 반영한 시사점 및 기대효과를 도출함으로써 전시전문 자격제도의 필요성에 대하여 기술하였다. 둘째, 국내 상황에 맞는 전시전문자격증을 제안하기 위하여 유사 전문자격 사례조사를 실시하였다. 국내·외 CEM자격증 및 컨벤션기획사를 중심으로 문헌 및 인터넷 조사를 실시하여 국내·외 자격증을 비교하여 현재 국내에서 실행되고 있는 유사 자격증의 문제점을 분석하였다. 셋째, 이상의 분석결과를 토대로 전시전문자격증 개설을 위한 선결과제와, 이를 반영한 로드맵 및 추진(안)을 단계별로 제시하여 실질적으로 전시전문 자격증 도입을 위한 기반을 마련하였다. 향후 전시전문 자격제도 도입의 정착과 활성화를 위해서는 유사자격증 제도의 장·단점을 비교 분석하고, 외국의 자격 제도를 연구하여 전시전문 자격증 제도의 로드맵 수립 및 활성화를 위한 끊임없는 연구와 노력이 병행되어야 할 것이다. Recently, though exhibition industry is developing into total strategic service industry, exhibition industry in Korea still has insufficient competitiveness compared with than in developed countries. For successful hosting and operation of exhibition for the future, it is needed to develop human resources equipped with professionalism and to introduce certificate system which can certify them systematically. The purpose of this study is to find a way to vitalize training of professional exhibitionmanagers through the introduction of certificate system which is needed to train professionals as follows. First, questionnaires and telephone survey were conducted targeting practitioners in this industry in order to examine the importance of certificate system for exhibition management. Questionnaires were composed of questions asking the importance of certificate, answers on operating method and operating body and application in the industry after acquiring the certificate. Also, the necessity of certificate system for exhibition management was described by deducing implications and expected effects reflecting the needs of industry based on the results of survey. Second, in order to suggest certificate of exhibition management which is suitable to the country`s situation, case study on similar professional certificates was conducted. By researching the literatures and conducting Internet research centering domestic and foreign CEM certificates and convention agencies and comparing domestic and foreign certificates, problems of similar certificates currently implemented in the country were analyzed. Third, based on such analytic results, fundaments for introducing certificate of professional exhibition management practically were set by suggesting the first consideration for opening certificate of professional exhibition management, and roadmap and promoting plans by each stage. In order to settle and vitalize introduction of certificate system for professional exhibition management for the future, both continuous research and effort should beput forth for establishment and vitalization of roadmap of certificate system for professional exhibition management by comparing and analyzing advantages and disadvantages of similar certificate systems and by studying foreign certificate systems.

        전시사업관리를 적용한 제작프로세스 체계 구성에 관한 연구

        Currently, it is the fact that the construction management and the exhibition anagement is implemented in concurrent basis however, the system and method of management of both industries is differs from each other in many areas. This comprises a limitation to repeat a lot of trial & error as well as related disputes in the process of exhibition project implementation, thus it appears to be necessary to have an expert group for exhibition industry to take the role to mediate dispute by positioning in-between the ordering party and the subject party of each stage of project. However, in the case of exhibition management, no system has been set up as yet based on project implementation know-how due to its initial stage of industry, as such in this study of theoretical review, it has been examined the role, purpose of exhibition management and the composition element of production & installation each stage of project. Above all, this study aims to provide the basic materials for the exhibition management to be implemented in the future through establishment of exhibition management process for the efficiency of exhibition management industry. With this study, the necessity of exhibition project management could be recognized and through process of convergence stage of exhibition management process it could be understood the process of exhibition management. This is the 2nd stage of study to implement the exhibition management and through which it is expected to increase the efficiency of convergence management stage in the process of exhibition management. Finally, this is one of the basic studies to structure the process of exhibition management and through subsequent study, it is to develop a check list for design & convergence stage by utilizing the corresponding project process to fulfill the responsibility to complete this study.

        전시사업관리 사업 프로세스 구축을 위한 기반 연구

        A serious problem that domestic exhibition facilities are facing in common from the beginning of their opening is a continuous repetition of considerable exhibitions’ malfunction and of inefficient communication due to displays different from those originally designed. Such a problem occurs in most of large-scale exhibition facilities and, what is worse, the situation in those under medium size is even more serious because of their realistic limits that supervision cannot but to weaken in accordance with the order amount. To solve this problem, the study establishes the concept of exhibition management, and finds out its necessity, present condition, and the course of its further development through an overall understanding of the exhibition industry by theoretically examining the industry based on the existing studies and looking into exhibition industry and design. The study aims at presenting the project process of exhibition management for efficient management. The study showed the necessity of exhibition management and especially the project process of the designing stage gave an understanding of exhibition management process. This is the first stage to carry out exhibition management, which is expected to be conducive to a higher efficiency of the project management in a designing stage when proceeding with the exhibition project.

        체험형 과학관의 전시 선제평가 요소 개발에 관한 연구 - 콘텐츠·기획·설계단계의 평가요소 개발을 중심으로 -

        The development of science and technology has enabled interactive communication in the field of experience and exhibition, and has made it possible to overcome the constraints of time and space. In addition, as the social functions and roles of science museums become important, it is necessary to establish an efficient science museum exhibition evaluation model accordingly. For this purpose, a new management system is needed to suit the evolving exhibition characteristics of science museums, and in particular, it is necessary to establish an exhibition evaluation system for quality management. The experiential, exploratory National Science Museum is required to improve a considerable number of exhibits every two to three years after opening. Various problems arise as the science and technology advances in rapid rotational cycles, and as it changes into an active science museum where you can directly manipulate, touch, and experience. This is because the experiential science museum is different from the general museum or science museum, and exhibits are produced, installed, and operated. It is necessary to introduce an evaluation system for experiential science museum exhibits through pre, dead and post-exhibition evaluation management systems in all areas such as exhibition directing, exhibition management, and exhibition operation. The experiential science museum mainly consists of hands-on-type operative experiential exhibitions. In particular, it emphasizes the experiential educational part of science contents, and adopts more active exhibition and education methods for science education such as works, reactive experiences, experiments and demonstrations. Science museum exhibitions are largely divided according to the standards before, during, and after my production, and the exhibition evaluation of the science museum can be divided into preemptive-formation-generalization-prescription stages. It can be classified into a vertical form that is specifically evaluated, and exhibition evaluation also requires a step-by-step approach. In this study, a study on the development of preemptive evaluation elements of the experiential science museum centered on the content exhibition evaluation elements, item planning evaluation elements, and design evaluation elements.

        작동체험 전시물 통합관리시스템 필요성 제언

        과학관은 과학기술 중심사회 구축 실현을 위한 노력 중의 하나로 과학문화 확산 및 과학기술 대중화·생활화 기반 조성을 위해 과학 교육·체험의 중심기관으로 역할이 증대되고 있다. 또한 급속히 변화하는 과학기술의 발달과 더불어 과학관의 전시물 연출 형태 또한 첨단기술의 발전과 흐름에 따라 다양화되고 복잡화되어 가고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 과학관 전시물의 경향 및 형태를 알아보기 위해 2008년 개관한 과천과학관을 포함하여 2013년 개관한 대구, 광주과학관, 2015년 개관예정인 부산과학관의 전시관별 전시물 현황 및 분석을 통해서 각 과학관 별 전시물 형태 및 특징에 대해 알아보고자 한다. 이를 기반으로 국내 과학관의 작동체험기반의 전시물을 비교·분석하여 국내 과학관의 전시물이 갖는 작동체험 전시물의 개선점과 향후 운영관리의 효율성을 위한 관리자 측면에서의 전시물 운영방안에 대해 모색해 보고자 한다. 아울러 정보통신기술의 발달로 인해 전시물 통합관리시스템 구축에 있어서도 사물인터넷(IOT:Internet of Things)을 활용한 정보화시스템을 통해 향후 과학관이 추구해야 하는 전시물유지관리방안의 개선점 및 방향성에 대해서도 제언하고자 한다. As one of the efforts to fulfill the modern society based on science technology, the roll of science museum has been emphasized on many ways such as spread of science culture, popularity of science technology, etc. With this flow of society, the importance on role of science museum has seemed to increase as central organization which supports the system on science education and on exhibit experience. On this study, the range of subject in science museum"s exhibition list were surveyed on Gwacheon National Science Museum opened 2008, Daegu and Gwangju National Science Museum opened 2013, and Busan National Science Museum is scheduled open 2015. Through this survey, we hope that there are helpful survey results to find some features and differences by analyses from characters of each Science Museum"s exhibits. Furthermore, we hope that this survey will be an attempt to understand the flow of present exhibit maintenance system, to recognize the necessity and direction of integrated management system which is likely to linked to IOT(Internet of Things) technology. After all, the new integrated management system will be a blueprint for innovative some improvement point from National Science Museums have problems.

        An Intelligent Exhibition Rule Management System using PMML

        Recently, the exhibition industry has developed rapidly with the development of information technologies. Most exhibitors in an exhibition plan and deploy many events that may provide advantages to visitors as a method of effective promotion. The growth and propagation of wireless technologies is a powerful marketing tool for exhibitors. However, exhibitors still rely on domain experts who are costly and time consuming because of the manual knowledge input procedure. Moreover, it is prone to biases and errors and not suitable for managing fast-growing and tremendous amounts of data that far exceed a human's ability to comprehend. To overcome these problems, data mining technology may be a great alternative, but it needs to be fit to each exhibition. This study uses data mining technology with the Predictive Model Markup Language (PMML) to suggest a system that supports intelligent services and that improves stakeholder satisfaction. This system provides advantages to the exhibitor, show organizer, and system designer, and is first enhanced by integrating data mining technologies through the knowledge of exhibition experts. Second, using the PMML, the system can automate the process of applying data mining models to solve real-time processing problems in the exhibition environment.

        빅데이터 기반 관광지 추천 시스템 구현-한국관광공사 LOD를 중심으로-

        기존 전시회 정보 제공 서비스는 전시회가 열리는 장소 주변의 관광지를 추천한다. 이러한 위치기반 추천의 경우 전시회의 내용과 관련이 없는 관광지를 추천할 수 있다는 한계점이 있다. 전시회 내용과 관련된 관광지를 관람객에게 추천함으로써 전시회에서 획득한 지식을 관광지에서 경험하는 데에 도움을 줄 필요가 있다. 전시회 큐레이터들이 전시회 내용과 관련된 관광지를 일일이 찾아 추천하는 방법이 있지만, 수작업이다 보니 큐레이터가 가지고 있는 배경지식의 범위 내에서만 추천이 가능하다는 한계점이 있다. 수작업에 따른 오류가 있을 수도 있기 때문에 자동화된 방법이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 언어자원 빅데이터를 활용하여 전시회 내용과 관련된 관광지를 자동으로 추천하는 방법을 제안한다. 언어자원으로는 한국관광공사 LOD(Linked Open Data), 위키피디아, 국립국어원 사전 등을 활용했다. 단일 컴퓨터로는 이러한 대용량 언어자원을 효율적으로 처리하기 어렵기 때문에, 클라우드 컴퓨팅 프레임워크인 아파치 스파크(Apache Spark)에 기반하여 구현했다. 사용자가 웹브라우저를 통해 전시회 정보를 열람하면 본 알고리즘에 의해 추천된 관광지들을 같이 보여주는 웹인터페이스도 구현했다(http://bike.snu.ac.kr/WARP). 주요 전시회에 대한 관광지 추천 정확도에 대해 전문가 평가를 진행했다. 기존 방법에 비해 본 논문에서 제안한 방법의 정확도가 더 높았다. 본 연구를 활용하면 전시회 큐레이터의 수작업을 줄여줄 수 있고 전시회 관람자들을 관광지로 자연스럽게 유도할 수 있기 때문에, 전시산업과 관광산업 모두에게 도움이 될 수 있다. Conventional exhibition management information systems recommend tourist attractions that are close to the place in which an exhibition is held. Some recommended attractions by the location-based recommendation could be meaningless when nothing is related to the exhibition’s topic. Our goal is to recommend attractions that are related to the content presented in the exhibition, which can be coined as content-based recommendation. Even though human exhibition curators can do this, the quality is limited to their manual task and knowledge. We propose an automatic way of discovering attractions relevant to an exhibition of interests. Language resources are incorporated to discover attractions that are more meaningful. Because a typical single machine is unable to deal with such large-scale language resources efficiently, we implemented the algorithm on top of Apache Spark, which is a well-known distributed computing framework. As a user interface prototype, a web-based system is implemented that provides users with a list of relevant attractions when users are browsing exhibition information, available at http://bike.snu.ac.kr/WARP. We carried out a case study based on Korean Tourism Organization Linked Open Data with Korean Wikipedia as a language resource. Experimental results are demonstrated to show the efficiency and effectiveness of the proposed system. The effectiveness was evaluated against well-known exhibitions. It is expected that the proposed approach will contribute to the development of both exhibition and tourist industries by motivating exhibition visitors to become active tourists.

        과학관의 전시품질관리 체계구성에 관한 연구- 국립대구과학관을 중심으로 -

        The science museum is quite different from the ordinary museum in terms of the concept, role, function, and purpose, however, uses the same evaluation method as the ordinary one for their exhibits. The science museum needs to introduce a new method of evaluation corresponding to its unique characteristics, and this is a very important theme in the field of exhibition. This study intended to establish an evaluation index for enhancing the quality of exhibits for the science museum and applied the index to actual cases to verify its validity in order to provide the foundation for the exhibit quality management that can be used when establishing a science museum in the future. First, the elements extracted from Association of Science-Technology Centers (ASTC), Exploratorium related materials, and STEAM program were put together and similar/overlapping elements were filtered out to predetermine a total of 66 Exhibit Evaluation Elements and 20 important and essential Exhibit Evaluation Elements were determined through the discussion and survey with a domestic science museum expert. Finally, the 20 elements were applied to the exhibits of Daegu National Science Museum to evaluate the exhibits, and the significant conclusion concerning the corresponding museum was drawn. This study enhanced the clarity by limiting the subject of discussion to the ‘exhibits’ of the science museum by focusing on the fact that existing studies discussed the evaluation method in a broader scope such as the ‘Exhibition’ or ‘Management’ of the science museum and have not reflected international and universal views in terms of research method and also limited the base for extracting data to overseas data, differentiating itself from other studies.

        Beacon기술을 이용한 MICE시스템 설계 및 구현

        최근 마이스산업이 신성장동력산업으로 떠오르고 있다. 국내의 대부분 MICE행사는 소규모/저비용으로 진행되고 있다. 행사주최자 입장에서는 반복, 소모적으로 발생하는 브로슈어, 홍보물제작 등의 인쇄물 비용의 절감과 행사진행에 필요한 단순 안내진행요원들의 경비 절감을 원하고 있다. 기존 모바일웹은 행사 참가자가 필요한 정보를 바로 얻지 못하고 스스로 정보를 찾고 검색해야 되는 단점이 있다. 따라서 행사기간에 단기적으로 사용할 수 있는 저비용, 고효율의 행사정보 제공 솔루션의 개발이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 비콘 기술을 이용한 전시/컨벤션 행사용 통합관리시스템을 구현하였다. 비콘 기술을 적용하여 행사현장 안내시스템을 통한 행사지원 관리의 효율성을 제공하고, 콘텐츠관리시스템(CMS)을 이용한 디지털브로슈어 관리기능을 통한 정보검색 용이성과 비용절감 효과를 높일 수 있다. 소규모 전시/컨벤션 행사에 주최 측의 직접 홈페이지 구축과 현장관리시스템 운영을 통해 효율적인 행사관리를 할 수 있다. MICE industry is emerging as a new growth engine recently. Most of the domestic MICE events are carried out at low cost on a small scale. The event organizers want to cut down on costs of prints such as brochures and other promotional printed materials, as well as the personnel costs for the simple guide job needed on site, which are generated repeatedly and wastefully. The existing mobile web has a defect that the participants can’t easily earn the information in the fixed menu, but have to search by themselves wasting lots of time. Therefore, it is necessary to develop the solution enables providing information efficiently at low cost for short-term use during the events. In this study, we implemented specific total management system for exhibitions and convention using beacon. The information system for exhibitions and events using beacon can raise the management efficiency, and the digital brochure function based on CMS heightens the information retrieval ability and also reduces costs. Organizers can manage their event efficiently in a small exhibition and convention event by running an online website and operate a site management system by them selves.
