        차세대 친환경 건축 인증제 개발을 위한 구성요소 및 특성 연구 : LBC(Living Building Challenge)의 사례를 중심으로

        Growing interest in Sustainable Architecture positioned the Green Building Certification at the center of great attention. They are outstanding in terms of providing clear codified standard which are comparatively easy in application. They have been developed through past decades with numerous upgrades in efforts to improve the system. However, with fast development of architectural environment, researches on the next generation rating system shall be continued to overcome the limits of current system. The purpose of this paper is to analyze LBC(Living Building Challenge) which will have key effects in terms of sustainability in the future. The primary characteristic of LBC is that: Firstly, it takes a top-down approach rather than bottom-up approach in defining the ideal or ultimate target. Secondly, it includes not only quantitative but also qualitative of sustainable aspects. Thirdly, it is not a design tool but a performance-based tool. Fourthly, it is not a checklist to earn credits, but it only consists of imperatives. Fifthly, it is a unified tool. Lastly, it considers the extended value such as urban context and regionality. Through understanding those characteristics, the followings are suggested: Firstly, an integrated tool shall be developed instead of a complex tool. Secondly, one shall consider not only quantitative but also qualitative value such as humanistic aspects to support a true sustainable human life. Thirdly, evaluation through auditing on-site after completing construction shall be intensified. Fourthly, diverse rating systems shall be developed in order to pursue different goals and philosophy. Conclusively, this paper is to support the next generation rating system such as LBC, to play the key role towards the development of true sustainable building.

        The G-SEED consists of new, existing, and green remodeling building. And the green remodeling certification standard is focused on energy performance, not overall performance of the remodeling. However, Green building design standards of Seoul City have a problem that the new construction standard of G-SEED is applied as remodeling standard. In this background, the current status and limitations of the G-SEED certification criteria and the Seoul city"s green building design criteria are reviewed, and the direction of the G-SEED remodeling certification criteria is suggested.

        지속가능한 의료시설 계획을 위한 평가방법 개발

        As the concerns for the environment are gradually prioritized, increasing interests of environment-friendly buildings are drawn. Numerous researches about healthcare buildings have been performed however, they were mainly focused on convenience or healing condition for medical treatments. The hospitals consume energy and generate CO2 as twice as the residential or commercial buildings do. Various green building certification systems are globally arranged. But, it isn't easy to find certification criteria for the green hospital besides the US and UK's ones which are specially designed to evaluate environment-friendly medical buildings. This study investigates the foreign certification criteria and systems for the green healthcare building and finds the possibility to apply them to Korean one. We expect that it will promote more following researches for the substantial green healthcare design.

        국내 의료시설에 적합한 친환경건축물 인증기준의 외부환경 평가항목 개발에 관한 연구

        Recently, As more serious environmental problems of buildings, our country and the advanced countries are developing Green building assessment tools for estimating environmental performance of buildings. Especially, hospital architecture has acknowledged remedial value of environment as well as which have been relation with human beings relied on the quality of natural environment. So, it is not only desirable for the patients to make healing environment on the basis of eco-friendly architecture and the facilities have to be developed eco-environmentally. The purpose of this study is to prepare the basic data to develop the items of outdoor environmental assessment for hospital. Furthermore, for this research paper, we compared domestic green building certification criteria to foreign green building certification criteria, such as LEED v.2.2 and GBTool 2005. From the analysis results, we were able to grasp basic data of outdoor environment assessment for domestic hospital's Green Building Certification Criteria.

        친환경건축물 인증제도 평가방법 개선 연구

        지구의 환경문제와 에너지 부족에 대한 관심은 환경친화적이고 지속가능한 개발에 대한 연구와 적용이 전 세계적으로 계속되고 있다. 이와 관련하여 건축 및 도시계획분야에서는 친환경건축물 인증과 에너지 인증이 시행되고, 지속적 인 연구와 이를 뒷받침하는 제도를 개정하고 있다. 친환경 건축물 인증제도는 건물의 친환경 성능을 평가하고 친환경성능을 제시하여 대상건물을 평가하는 도구이며, 현재 우리나라를 비롯하여 세계 주요국가에서 시행 중이다. 본 연구에서는 미국, 영국, 일본 등 주요국가의 친환경건축물 인증기준을 중심으로 최근에 업데이트된 인증제도의 특징 및 평가방법을 분석하여 향후 국내 친환경건축물 인증제도의 개선 및 연구방향에 대해 제시하였다. 첫째, 친환경건축물인증항목에서 환경관리부문 보행자 자전거안전부문 경관부문과 에너지 운용체계 관리 부문은 인증항목에 추가적으로 고려해야겠다. 둘째, 한국의 친환경건축물 인증기준에서 에너지부문에 대한 배점을 높게 하는 방향으로 개선을 할 필요가 있다고 판단된다. 셋째, 인증기준의 평가 방법에서는 한국의 경우도 다양한 등급방식에 대한 연구가 필요하다고 판단된다. Recently, energy and environment problems are serious all over the world. Therefore, environmental conferences in international society have held on Rio de Janeiro from UNCED in 1992 upward (United Nations Conference on Environment and Development) for countermeasure of environmental matters. Such developed countries as United States, Japan, Canada and British are to take effect building performance certification criteria what is certification system of environment for promotion in aspects of Green Buildings. Korea is enforcing Green Building Certification Criteria (GBCC) for multi-unit residential building, mixed-use dwellings, office and school. And now GBCCs for stores and accommodations are under development. The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze about standards and assessment of certification systems which are LEED in USGBC since 1993 in United States, BREEAM since 1991 in United Kindom, CASBEE in Japan and GBCC of KGBC in state-run organization since 2002 and ``Environment-friendly Building Guidelines`` of Seoul to be recently driven. This study shows that sevaral fators, such as environtmantal management, pedestrian safety, urban scape and ennergy operation system, are considered Korean Green Building Certification Criteria. In addition, GBCC is needed to improve scoring system and ranking system by considering developed countries cases Higher score in energy section.

        친환경 건축물 인증제도 비교분석 연구

Developed countries like United States, Japan, Canada and British are to take effect building promotion certification criteria what is certification system of environment for promotion in aspects of Green buildings. Purposes of this study are research in standards and status of certification systems which are LEED in USGBC since 1993 in United States, GBCC of KGBC in state-run organization since 2002 and 'Environmental-friendly Building Guidelines' of Seoul to be recently driven. And then, offer proposals of promotion aims for revitalization in GBCC.

        LEED-ND 인증사례 분석을 통한 친환경 단지개발에 관한 연구 - 인증사례에서 나타난 평가항목별 반영률을 중심으로 -

        The necessity of the certification system for individual buildings, both at home and abroad, is spreading throughout the building industry, and the certification standards of each country are also becoming effective systems through trial and error. On the other hand, complex development, neighborhood design, further urban design and urban development stages have greater impact on the urban environment than individual buildings, and the necessity of an green building certification system is continuously raised. This study examines the LEED for Neighborhood Development (LEED-ND) certification standards for neighborhood development projects, established and operated by the Green Building Council in the United States. By analyzing the detailed criteria of the items with high application rate, we derived the key elements that represent the ultimate purpose and direction of LEED-ND. Based on this, it is intended to provide the basic data necessary for the improvement and supplementation of the concept of green neighborhood in Korea to be extended to the urban environment level beyond the individual building-oriented standards.

        국가별 인증사례 비교를 통한 LEED-ND 평가항목 반영률 분석

        As climate change and environmental destruction are becoming more serious globally, many countries have established and implemented green building certification systems to create an sustainable and environment-friendly urban space. There are LEED in the U.S., GBTool in Canada, BREEAM in the U.K., and CASBEE in Japan, and the Green Building Certification System has been established in Korea since 2000, which has been renamed as G-SEED(Green Standard for Energy and Environmental Design). Green building certification systems are concentrated on individual buildings for the most countries, and certification in urban design levels or similar actions are at just beginning stage globally. In this study, the certified cases by LEED-ND(Neighborhood Development), first introduced in 2009 in the US as a pilot program, are examined to find out green characteristics of different countries by comparing certified cases in China and US which were evaluated under the same certification criteria. The results showed both countries have similar trends for the most part, however there were some issues that was affected from social and cultural differences. The findings from the this study will contribute to identify global trends on sustainable strategies for urban design and neighborhood development projects.

        국내외 친환경건축물 인증기준의 평가항목 비교분석에 관한 연구

        The global energy and environment problems gave rise to environmentally friendly architectural concept, and now the environmentally advanced countries are assessing environmental performance of buildings by using their assessment tool. Also our country is enforcing Green Building Certification Criteria(GBCC) for multi-unit residential building, mixed-use dwellings, office and school and GBCCs for stores and accommodations are under development.The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze foreign GBCCs with a domestic GBCC integrated from four GBCCs for four uses(multi-unit residential building, mixed-use dwellings, office, school), grasp concrete assessment system and improve domestic GBCC.
