        한국 물류산업의 경제성장에 대한 영향의 최적효율지역 분석

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of Korea’s regional logistics industry on economic growth, considering the network and spillover effects, and to derive the optimal efficiency area for effect of the logistics industry on the economic growth and to provide implications for the establishment of logistics policies. The analysis is doned by using general panel model and dynamic panel model. The results of the empirical analysis are as follows: First, the impact of the growth of the logistics industry on economic growth is large in the Jeolla and Seoul metropolitan area and relatively small in South-east and Chungcheong area. This phenomenon occurred similarly to effect of the growth of the logistics industry, measured in capital, such as roads, on its own economic growth. Next, the effect of the spillover effect of the growth of logistic industry in other area on economic growth in own area is as follows: In the Seoul metropolitan area and Jeolla area, the synergy effect from the spillover effect with other regions as a whole is absolute and relatively large. In relation to the impact of the growth of the logistics industry measured by capital, such as roads, spillover effect of capital networks with other area on economic growth is relatively large in Jeolla and Chungcheon area. The impact of the growth of the logistic industry of integrated area on the economic growth of the integrated area is absolutely large when all the areas integrate with the Seoul metropolitan and Jeolla area. while the spillover effect of the integrated area with the Chungcheong area on the integrated area’s own economic growth is smallest. In addition, when other areas integrate with the Seoul metropolitan area, the effect on economic growth of the integrated area is relatively large. Based on the above analysis results, it suggest that a new ‘policy area’ is needed considering the spillover effect of each area rather than an administrative area in relation to establishment of the policy of logistics industry.

      • Have Emission Control Areas (ECAs) harmed port efficiency in Europe?

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Ports in the European Union and North America have enforced environmental regulations on controlling SO<SUB>x</SUB> and NOx emissions from ships in their coastal areas known as Emission Control Areas (ECAs). This study uses two-stage approaches to examine whether ECA regulations impact the efficiency of ports operating in such areas. First, port efficiencies are estimated using non-radial slacks-based measure (SBM) Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) models. The efficiency scores estimated by the SBM DEA models are then regressed on explanatory variables, including the ECA factor, and macroeconomic indicators using bootstrapped truncated regression (BTR) models. Panel data is collected on countries in EU ECAs and non-ECAs regarding such input variables as capital and labor, with cargo as an output variable.       • Research of D2D Dynamic Power Control Algorithm Based on Interference Restricted Area in Multi-Cell

        In cellular networks, the application of device-to-device (D2D) technology can effectively improve the system spectral efficiency. In order to research the performance of D2D communication in multi-cell cellular system, this paper proposed a dynamic power control algorithm based on interference restricted area to solve the interference problem between D2D communication and cellular communication in multi-cell. First we use Laplace Transform to analyze the interference, then based on the analyze of outage probability and area spectral efficiency, through system-level simulation, research the impact of D2D user equipment density, D2D communication distance and different interference restricted area sizes on outage probability and area spectral efficiency. Simulation results show that interference restricted area can effectively reduce communication outage probability, as well as improve system area spectral efficiency.

        17개 시‧도 지역 방문요양사업 효율성 분석

        The purpose of this study is to propose policy alternatives for effective management of home care services, which is one of the long - term care insurance programs for the elderly in Korea. In this study, DEA analysis method was used to analyze the efficiency of visit care projects by 17 cities and provinces in Korea. The analysis data are the data on the status of the elderly welfare facilities in 2017 and the data of the National Health Insurance Corporation 's Statistical Yearbook of Long - term Care Insurance. Since the efficiency analysis using this data used the DEA method, the input variables were selected as employees, facilities, and employees, and the efficiency variables were selected as the calculation variables. The results of the study are as follows. The results of the CCR measurement showed that the Chungbuk and Jeju areas were the only ones that were efficient, followed by Seoul, Gangwon, Gyeongbuk, Gyeonggi, Chungnam, Daejeon, Incheon, Gyeongnam, Busan, Jeonbuk, Daegu, Sejong, Jeonnam, Ulsan and Gwangju appear. In other words, the Gwangju area showed the lowest relative efficiency. The input and output contributes to the input and output in the largest number of facilities and salaries in all regions except Jeju Island. The efficiency improvement potential differs from region to region, but the number of facilities in Gwangju and Ulsan provinces showed the lowest efficiency. This study can be meaningful in that it is the first study that analyzed the efficiency of the visit care business by 17 metropolitan cities. However, this study is limited to the generalizability of the results of this study because it applies only variables such as the number of employees, facilities, staff, and salaries by the efficiency analysis method called DEA. Nevertheless, this study suggests ways to increase the efficiency of the visit care business. First, it proposes to check the number of facilities for visiting medical care facilities in Gwangju area and Ulsan area. Second, it proposes an increase in the elderly care insurance benefit. Third, to overcome the limitations of this study, further research suggests a detailed study using various regional factors. 본 연구는 우리나라의 노인장기요양보험 제도 프로그램 가운데 하나인 방문요양사업의 효율적 운영을 위한 정책적 대안을 제시하고자 하는데 목적을 두고 연구를 수행하였다. 본 연구에선 우리나라 17개 시‧도 지역 별 방문요양 사업의 효율성을 분석하기 위해 DEA분석 방법을 사용하였다. 분석자료는 보건복지부 발표 자료인 2017년「노인복지시설 현황」과 국민건강보험공단 발표 자료인 「노인장기요양보험 통계연보」 자료를 사용하였다. 이 자료를 이용한 효율성 분석은 DEA방법을 사용하였기 때문에 그에 따른 투입변수는 종사자, 시설 수, 실 인원으로 선정하였고, 산출 변수는 급여(수가)비용으로 선정하여 효율성을 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. CCR 측정 결과 유일하게 충북과 제주지역이 효율적이었고, 그 다음 효율적 순서로 서울, 강원, 경북, 경기, 충남, 대전, 인천, 경남, 부산, 전북, 대구, 세종, 전남, 울산, 광주지역 순으로 나타났다. 즉, 광주지역이 가장 상대적 효율성이 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 투입과 산출 기여도는 제주도를 제외한 모든 지역에서 시설 수와 급여(수가)비용이 가장 크게 투입과 산출에 기여하는 것으로 나타났다. 효율성 개선 가능성은 각 지역별로 다르지만, 가장 낮은 효율성을 보인 광주지역과 울산지역의 시설 수가 개선 가능성으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 방문요양사업 효율성을 17개 광역도시 별 분석한 최초의 연구라는 점에 그 의의가 있을 수 있다. 하지만, 본 연구는 DEA라는 효율성 분석방법에 의한 변수인 종사자, 시설 수, 실 인원, 급여(수가)비용만을 적용하였기 때문에 본 연구결과를 일반화하기에는 한계가 있을 것으로 판단된다. 그럼에도 불구하고 본 연구결과를 중심으로 방문요양사업 효율성 증대 방안을 제언하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 광주지역과 울산지역의 방문요양사업 시설 수 조정 점검을 제언한다. 둘째, 노인요양보험 급여(수가) 인상을 제언한다. 셋째, 본 연구의 한계를 극복하기 위해 추후 연구에서는 다양한 지역적 요인을 적용한 세밀한 연구를 제언한다.

        High-efficiency deep geological repository system for spent nuclear fuel in Korea with optimized decay heat in a disposal canister and increased thermal limit of bentonite

        To use nuclear energy sustainably, spent nuclear fuel, classified as high-level radioactive waste and inevitably discharged after electricity generation by nuclear power plants, must be managed safely and isolated from the human environment. In Korea, the land area is limited and the amount of high-level radioactive waste, including spent nuclear fuels to be disposed, is relatively large. Thus, it is particularly necessary to maximize disposal efficiency. In this study, a high-efficiency deep geological repository concept was developed to enhance disposal efficiency. To this end, design strategies and requirements for a high-efficiency deep geological repository system were established, and engineered barrier modules with a disposal canister for pressurized water reactor (PWR)-type and pressurized heavy water reactor type Canada deuterium uranium (CANDU) plants were developed. Thermal and structural stability assessments were conducted for the repository system; it was confirmed that the system was suitable for the established strategies and requirements. In addition, the results of the nuclear safety assessment showed that the radiological safety of the new system met the Korean safety standards for disposal of high-level radioactive waste in terms of radiological dose. To evaluate disposal efficiency in terms of the disposal area, the layout of the developed disposal areas was assessed in terms of thermal limits. The estimated disposal areas were 2.51 km2 and 1.82 km2 (existing repository system: 4.57 km2) and the excavated host rock volumes were 2.7 Mm3 and 2.0 Mm3 (existing repository system: 4.5 Mm3) for thermal limits of 100 °C and 130 °C, respectively. These results indicated that the area and the excavated volume of the new repository system were reduced by 40–60% compared to the existing repository system. In addition, methods to further improve the efficiency were derived for the disposal area for deep geological disposal of spent nuclear fuel. The results of this study are expected to be useful in establishing a national high-level radioactive waste management policy, and for the design of a commercial deep geological repository system for spent nuclear fuels.

      • Area-efficient RC Low Pass Filter using T-networked Resistors and Capacitance Multiplier

        A low pass filters (LPFs) are important building blocks for many analog integrated circuit design. The biomedical applications or the sensor applications require the LPFs with very low cut-off frequency. The simplest way to implement the LPF is using the passive RC filter. The passive RC LPF, however, consumes large chip area when the desired time constant is large. The transconductance-C (gm-C) filter or the switched capacitor (SC) filters are widely used to achieve the low cut-off frequency in limited area. However, non-linearity and switching noise are major drawbacks of the gm-C filters and the SC filters. This paper presents an area-efficient LPF using T-networked resistors and current-mode capacitance multiplier. The area of the proposed LPF is reduced to 8.31 % of the conventional passive RC LPF at the same cut-off frequency of 7.1 kHz. The proposed LPF is designed using standard 0.18 μm CMOS process with the option process of high-resistivity polysilicon resistor and metal-insulator-metal capacitor.

        Comparison of masticatory efficiency according to Angle’s classification of malocclusion

        Objective: The objective of this study was to investigate the differences in masticatory efficiency among patients with different Angle’s classes of malocclusion and to assess the correlation between masticatory efficiency and the occlusal contact area. Methods: The mixing ability index (MAI) was calculated for measuring masticatory efficiency of 61 adult patients according to Angle’s classifications of malocclusion. The study included 25, 15, and 21 patients with Angle’s Class I, II, and III malocclusions, respectively. Silicone interocclusal recording material was used to measure the occlusal contact area. Results: Both the MAI and occlusal contact area showed the highest average values in the Class I malocclusion group, followed by the Class II and Class III malocclusion groups. No significant difference was observed in the MAI values between the Class I and Class II malocclusion groups (p > 0.05), whereas a significant difference was observed between the Class I and Class III malocclusion groups (p < 0.01) and between the Class II and Class III malocclusion groups (p < 0.05). A weak positive correlation was also observed between the MAI and occlusal contact area (p < 0.01, r² = 0.13). Conclusions: The results of this study indicated that masticatory efficiency was the highest in patients with Angle’s Class I malocclusion, followed by those with Angle’s Class II and Angle’s Class III malocclusions. Moreover, a weak positive correlation was observed between masticatory efficiency and the occlusal contact area.

        Comparison of Production Functions in Rural Industrial Estates by Industrial Locations of Rural Areas

        This paper intends to examine comparison of resource productivity and economic efficiency in rural industrial estates by industrial locations of rural areas. In this study, rural manufacturing production functions by industrial locations of rural areas are estimated by using raw data of the 1998 Industrial Census on the two-digit manufacturing industries in the RIE. From the results of examining economic efficiency of resource-use as well as the comparative analysis of production function estimates in the RIE, this study finds that there are significant differences in the estimated output elasticities and economic efficiencies of labor and capital in the RIE by industrial locations of rural areas. Furthermore, this study indicates that much of rural manufacturing industries in the RIE by industrial locations of rural areas will improve economic inefficiency of labor and capital for maximizing profits as well as for achieving maximum efficiency of resource use. In particular, this study suggests that the government will promote more rural employment creation by providing wage subsidies for the rural manufacturing industries in the RIE .

        The purpose of this study is to measure the productivity of fisheries in China's coastal areas (including inland and marine fisheries) and to analyze the factors influencing the development of fishery economy in each province by comparing regional differences. The input indicators used for efficiency analysis are fish farms, ships and staff numbers, and the output indicators are fish catch and net income. In this paper, we used six years of data from 2013-2018 and DEA-Malmquist index was used to analyze the efficiency of coastal fisheries production in 11 areas of China's coast. According to the analysis from 2013 to 2018, the fishery output efficiency in China's coastal areas has improved to some extent, but most provinces and regions are characterized by technological progress, and the technological efficiency still needs to be further improved. The conclusion can provide reference for the development planning and policy measures of regional fishery industry in China's coastal areas.
