        카드뮴폭로후 고환, 신장 및 간장내 카드뮴축적량과 조직손상의 변화

        To assess the changes of cadmium deposit and histopathologic finding of testis, liver and kidney, different dose of cadmium (Cd) was administerd into male Sprague-Dawley rat(purchased from KIST, Korea Institute of Science and technology) by single intravenous injection. At 12, 24, 48, 168 and 672 hours after Cd injection, tissue cadmium concentration and histopathological change were examined. Cd exposed group showed lesser weight gain than the control. Renal Cd content tended to increase in time-dependent pattern, while hepatic and testicular Cd content tended to decrease. Mean of renal Cd content to hepatic Cd content (Cd K/Cd L) also progressively increased. These results suggest that Cd might be gradually transported to kidney from other organs. In testis and liver, degenerative changes appeared relatively in acute phase. These changes became more pronounced in testis, while less prominent in liver. In kidney, swelling of proximal tubluar cells and thickening of glomerular basement membrane appeared relatively later and these changes were progressively aggravated.

        Specimens of Aphidiidae were collected in the area of Daejeon and Mt. Gyeryong in Korea, during the period from April to September, 1983. Described 14 species of Aphidius areolatus Ashmead, Aphidius cingulatus Ruthe, Aphidius coloratus Baker, Aphidius pisivorus Smith, Binodoxys nearctaphidis Mackauer, Bioxys japonicus Stary & Schlinger, Boreogalba gladifer Mackauer, Ephedrus californicus Baker, Lipolexis scutellaris Mackauer, Lysiphlebus salicaphis(Fitch), Monoctonus similis Stary & Schlinger, Trioxys (Binodoxys) indicus Subba Rao & Sharma, Trioxys (Trioxys) asiaticus Telenga and Trioxys hokkaidensis Takada were for the first time in Korea.

        1992년 9월 4일부터 5일 까지에 전라북도 진안군에서 조사된 곤충류는 총 9목 58과 176종이었다. 조사된 종류중 노린재목이 41종으로 가장 많았으며 딱정벌레류는 빈약한 편이었다. 또한 남부지방의 타지역에 비해 특기할 만한 종이나 현상은 없는 편이었다. 종다양도는 site A1에서 34.167로, 우점도는 site Y3에서 0.779로, 종풍부도는 site S1에서 4.327로 가장 높게 나타났으며 지역간 유사도는 인정되지 않았다.

        1991년10월 11일부터 12일까지 전라북도 진안군에서 조사된 곤충류는 총 9목 44과 123종이었다. 조사된 종류중 매미목이 27종으로 가장 많았으며 딱정벌레류는 빈약한 편이었다. 또한 남부지방의 타지역에 비해 특기할만한 종이나 현상은 없는 편이었다.

        증편의 저장 중 조직 특성 변화

        This study was carried out to investigate the storage conditions and methods required for commercializaion of Jeung-Pyon. The storage characteristics of Jeung-Pyon were examined with Universal Testing Machine (UTM. Instron model 1000) for textural properties during storage of tinder the conditions such as sealing, nonsealing, and temperatures. The differences in storage characteristics on the different varieties and years of rices were not shown. When the Jeung-Pyon was lost it's quality as a commercial product, the measured value of UTM was increased as hardness 0.74㎏ to 1.0㎏, gumminess 0.23㎏ to 0.59㎏, chewiness 6㎏.mm to 18㎏.mm, but decreased in adhesiveness 0.65㎏.mm to 0.40㎏.mm, cohesiveness 0.61 to 0.34, springiness 41㎜ to 32㎜. The nonsealed Jeung-Pyon was lost it's quality for storing at room temperature because of the case-hardening after 2 days. In the case of sealed Jeung-Pyon, the case-hardening phenomena by the evaporation of moisture was not occured, therefore it was a significant factor for an extension in sealed Jeung-Pyon. The shelf-life of sealed Jeung-Pyon was 20 days and 5 days respectively during storage at -20℃ and 20℃ The sealed Jeung-Pyon stored at 5℃ was lost it's quality, in consideration of cold chain this temperature was suitable for retrogradation of starch. The Jeung-Pyon sealed with air and mosture proof packaging material stored at the accelerated condition as 92% R.H. and 35℃ lost it's quality within two or three days.

        수종 한약재가 백혈병 세포에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구

        I am reporting here a syntematic in vitro examination for specificity of anti-cancer effect of several oriental herbs, which have been used frequently for cancer pateints(therapy), on Molt-4 LCL(Lymphoblastoid Cell Line) Leukemic cells in relation to its density and time of incubation. 1. ErOH extract of Jujubae Fructus reduced Molt-4 cell's survival rate effectively after 48 hours' treatment at 1000㎍/㎖'s density and it reduced survival rate of LCL effectively after 12 hours' treatment at 1000㎍/㎖'s density. 2. EtOH extract of Cordyceps reduced LCL's survival rate effectively after 36 hour's treatment at 1000㎍/㎖'s density. 2. EtOH extract of Fici Fructus reduced LCL's survival rate effectively after 36 hours' treatment at 1000㎍/㎖'s density. 4. EtOH extract of Trionycis reduced Molt-4 cell's survival rate even at 500㎍/㎖ density and further effective at 1000㎍/㎖ density after 24 hours treatment and it killed the cells completely at 1000㎍/㎖ density after 48 hours treatment, It also Killed LCL completely after 12 hours and 36 hours' treatment at 1000㎍/㎖'s density. 5. EtOH extract of Biotae Cacumen reduced LCL's survival rate effectively after 12 hours' treatment at 1000㎍/㎖'s density, and after 36 hours treatment it reduced LCL's survival time very effectively. 6. EtOH extract of Psoraleae Fructus reduced Molt-4 cell's survival rate very effectively after 24 hours' treatment at 500㎍/㎖ and 1000㎍/㎖'s density, and after 48 hours' treatment at 250㎍/㎖'s density it reduced effectively and it killed the cell completely at 500㎍/㎖ and 1000㎍/㎖'s density. It also killed LCL completely after 12 hours and 36 hours' treatment at 1000㎍/㎖'s density. I hope to proceed with more advanced experiment in vivo and clinically as for the two kinds of oriental herbs and another herbs effective for leukemia.

      • 가공 송전선의 부식진단시스템 개발

        A diagnosis method to inspect deterioration in overhead ACSR conductors is discussed in this paper. Corrosion would be occurred by various and complex factors such as atmospheric indices, installation environment and metallic configuration, but must of corrosions are mainly due to atmospheric corrosion, galvanic corrosion and crevice corrosion. Such corrosion in ACSR would lead to be zinc loss of galvanized steel strand and reduction of cross section area of aluminum strand and it may be mechanical strength of power conductor in service to reduce. Global corrosion can be treated as average corrosion occurring on the conductor and it would appear to any material variations by the elapsed years of the conductor in the atmosphere. Therefore, as estimating the loss rate of tensile strength of aged conductor corresponding to the elapsed years, it would be possible to quantify global corrosion indirectly to a prediction function. Through such results, loss degree for ACSR 97[mm2] is classified to 4 ranges. i.e., no loss, possible loss, partial loss and sever loss. Both local and global corrosion could not be detected by visual inspection, but we proposed a corrosion detector system using a solenoid eddy current sensor in order to inspect such corrosion for old conductor. Corrosion detecting system is constituted to a corrosion detector and a ground station controller. Corrosion detector consists of sensor coil and sensing head, signal processing unit, data communication system, motor driver and controller, u-processors and power supply. After considering operation and manipulation in the field, motor, battery and wheels were selected and designed in order to reduce the weight of corrosion detector. Programs for u-processors, measurement program operated in a PC were also developed. Before testing the corrosion detector in the field, several experiments were carried out in the laboratory for artificial corroded samples. Sensor performance, mechanical tests such running ability and weight, and RF data transmission as well as measurement program were examined. After testing a simple corrosion detector system in the laboratory, several filed tests were carried out in practice transmission lines installed in domestic area. Finally, the suggested corrosion detecting system shows an effectiveness to detect local corrosion in acted conductor in practice.

        Periapical cemental dysplsia의 진단에 대한 치험례

        Periapical cemental dysplasia(PCD) is a condition most commonly seen in the mandibular incisor region. Radiographically it passes through the three phases(osteolytic stage, intermediate stage, and mature stage). At osteolytic stage, the lesion is similar to features associated with granuloma or cyst that arise following pulpal necrosis. So, it is important to confirm the vitality of the pulp to diagnosis. In this case, it is difficult to confirm the vitality of involved tooth because the tooth was covered with PFG bridge. And it is unusual that the PCD lesion at mandibular incisors has occurred at first and the lesion of mandibular canine and mandibular premolar were occurred afterward. 치근단 백악질 이형성증은 대부분 하악 전치부에서 발생하는 병소로 시간의 흐름에 따라 3단계의 독특한 방사선 사진상의 변화 양상을 보인다 (방사선 투과성기, 혼합기, 방사선 불투과성기). 특별히 1단계인 방사선 투과성기의 방사선 사진 상의 양상은 치수 괴사로 인해 발생하는 치근단 육종이나 치근단낭과 매우 유사하다. 따라서 이를 감별하기 위해서는 정기적인 방사선 사진 검사와 함께 치수의 생활력을 검사가 매우 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 하지만 본 증례에서는 해당 부위의 치아가 PFG bridge로 수복되어 있는 치수 생확력 검사를 정확하게 할 수 없었다. 또한 병소가 처음에는 하악 전치부에 발생하였으나 뒤이어 하악 견치와 소구치부에서도 연달아 발생한 특이한 소견을 보였다.

        This paper describes an effort to develop a microcomputer-based parameter identification system for a brushless D.C.motor driven by three phase trapezoidal current. It is found that Pasek’s equation is valid for the brushless DC motor driven by three phase trapezoidal current. Back EMF equation is derived from back EMF waveform of brushless DC motor driven by three phase trapezoidal current and it is verified that the voltage constant obtained by back EMF equation and the torque constant are equal, in the pure SI metric system. To minimize errors due to the ripple component in the measured armature current, digital averaging filter is employed. The algorithm is implemented on IBM-PC/AT using C language. In the proposed method, the measured current is in excellent agreement with the calculated current. And this close agreement conform the validity of this technique.
