        As the public use part of the railway and the road, the railway crossing is important to work properly by two transportation means. Also, It is important to provide the good face of friction on the railway crossing in aspect of protecting the railway crossing accident. Lately, the material of railway crossing panel is the wood, the asphalt, and the steel. As they have a various fault, it was studied to analyze the structural action of the new material, rubber panel. This paper analyzed eigenvalue, stress and displacement by truck passing weight, thermal stress and train moving weight, using the FEM model.

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>Developing a means by which to compete with commonly used Si‐based memory devices represents an important challenge for the realization of future three‐dimensionally stacked crossbar‐array memory devices with multifunctionality. Therefore, oxide‐based resistance switching memory (ReRAM), with its associated phenomena of oxygen ion drifts under a bias, is becoming increasingly important for use in nanoscalable crossbar arrays with an ideal memory cell size due to its simple metal–insulator–metal structure and low switching current of 10–100 μA. However, in a crossbar array geometry, one single memory element defined by the cross‐point of word and bit lines is highly susceptible to unintended leakage current due to parasitic paths around neighboring cells when no selective devices such as diodes or transistors are used. Therefore, the effective complementary resistive switching (CRS) features in all Ti‐oxide‐based triple layered homo Pt/TiO<I><SUB>x</SUB></I>/TiO<I><SUB>y</SUB></I>/TiO<I><SUB>x</SUB></I>/Pt and hetero Pt/TiO<SUB><I>x</I></SUB>/TiON/TiO<I><SUB>x</SUB></I>/Pt geometries as alternative resistive switching matrices are reported. The possible resistive switching nature of the novel triple matrices is also discussed together with their electrical and structural properties. The ability to eliminate both an external resistor for efficient CRS operation and a metallic Pt middle electrode for further cost‐effective scalability will accelerate progress toward the realization of cross‐bar ReRAM in this framework.</P>

      • Adaptive Length Block Truncation Coding for LCD Overdrive

        Overdrive technique in liquid-crystal displays (LCD) is important to alleviate the motion blur caused by the slow response time of the liquid-crystal. Since this technique requires the memory storing a previous frame, the amount of the frame data should be decreased to reduce LCD cost as much as possible. To do this end, in this paper, we propose an improved block truncation coding (BTC) which adopts an adaptive length coding according to the pixel variance. In the proposed method, an efficient bit allocation for luminance and chrominance components is further utilized. The experimental results show that the proposed method outperforms the conventional method.

        실버 세대를 위한 체감형 자전거 게임 콘텐츠 개발

        의학 기술의 발달과 저 출산 현상으로 인구의 고령화가 진행되어감에 따라, 실버세대를 위한 다양한 문화와 산업이 대두되고 있다. 실버 세대는 상대적으로 많은 여가시간을 보내기 위해 다양한 사회 활동과 문화 콘텐츠를 경험하길 원하지만, 노령화에 따른 신체적?심리적?정신적 기능 저하로 인해 제약이 따르게 된다. 본 논문에서는 실버 세대들이 사회활동에서 가장 필요로 하는 이동성 확보에 도움이 되는 하체 단련과 체력 증진 기능을 갖춘 체감형 자전거 게임 콘텐츠를 제안한다. 제안된 게임 콘텐츠는 실버세대에게 익숙한 자전거라는 기구를 이용하여 노인들에게 적합한 게임 구성과 디자인을 통해 게임에 대한 흥미를 유발시킬 수 있다. 노인들은 게임의 몰입감을 증대시키기 위해 개발된 체감형 인터페이스와 실시간 3D그래픽스 디스플레이를 통해 놀이와 운동을 동시에 즐기며 여가시간을 활용할 수 있다. As the aged have increased due to the progress of medical science and the low birth-rate, the various cultures and industries for them are on the rise. The aged want to enjoy the diverse social activities and the culture content for spending their spare time. But they are liable to be restricted by the activities due to the physical, psychological, and mental disorder. This paper suggests a tangible bicycle game content and interface with the function of training and improving the lower part of body that is necessary to the old people's movement. The suggested game content can attract the interest of the aged by the familiar device, bicycle, and the game design for the old people. We develop the sensory interface for augmenting the immersion in the game. The aged can enjoy their spare time doing both game and exercise through the sensory interface and the real-time display of 3D graphics.

      • 증기투과 분리막을 이용한 IPA회수 및 탈수 시스템

        IPA는 에폭시 수지제조 등과 같은 화학물질 및 화학제품 제조업과 반도체 제조공정, LCD 제조공정 등과 같은 전자부품 제조업에서 많이 사용 하며, 의료용 물질 및 의약품 제조업에서 시약원료, 인쇄 및 기록매체 복제업에서 잉크의 용제로 쓰인다. 일반적으로 IPA를 사용하는 공정에 따라 다양한 중량%의 IPA가 포함된 폐수가 발생된다. 이렇게 발생된 폐수는 유기화합물, 그중에서도 알코올의 회수라는 측면에서 보면, 증류공정을 이용하여 분리농축 시 원 폐수의 IPA농도가 낮으면 경제성이 없으며 증류공정이 가능하더라도 공비혼합물을 생성하면서 87.9%의 IPA가 물과 함께 존재하여 분리·농축의 한계를 가진다. 한편으로 이러한 IPA폐수를 수처리라는 측면에서 보면, IPA의 농도가 너무 높아 IPA의 농도를 1%이하로 낮추어 희석·처리해야하는 또 다른 문제점이 상존한다. 이러한 문제점을 보완하기 위해 투과증발분리막공정이 상용화 되었지만, 현재는 증류공정의 전 단계공정으로써 이용되고 있다. 이와 다르게 증기투과분리막공정을 이용한다면 증류공정의 한계가 가지는 공비혼합물의 생성 없이 IPA폐수로부터 수분을 제거하여 IPA를 선택적으로 분리할 수 있고, 90~99 중량% 이상의 농도로 농축하여 재활용 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 증기투과분리막공정을 이용하여 30~80 중량%의 IPA를 증기투과공정으로 수분을 제거하여 90~99 중량% 이상의 농도로 농축하였으며 유입IPA의 농도, 유입유량, 온도, pH, 스윕가스량 등 다양한 인자들에 대하여 최적화된 공정인자들을 도출하고자 하였다.

        본 연구에서는 고에너지 열가소성 추진제 제조 및 특성연구(I)에서 언급된 고에너지 열가소성(ETPE) 추진제의 시차 주사 열량(DSC) 및 열중량 분석(TGA)을 측정하여 열분석을 진행하였으며 동시에 추진제 둔감성을 확인하기 위해 폭굉성 시험인 LSGT, 폭연성 시험인 Friability 시험을 진행하였다. 추진제 조성으로는 GAP(Glycidyl Azide Polymer)이 45% 함유된 고에너지 열가소성(ETPE) 바인더와 고에너지 가소제(DEGDN), 산화제인 AP(Ammonium Perchlorate), RDX(research development explosive, cyclotrimethylenetrinitramine)를 사용하였다. In this study, Differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) and Thermogravimetric analysis(TGA) of the high energetic thermoplastic elastomer propellant mentioned in formulation of an energetic thermoplastic propellant its properties(I) was carried out. At the same time, to check the insensitiveness of the propellant, the detonation test, large scale gap test(LSGT) and the deflagration test, Friability test was carried out. High energetic thermoplastic binders containing 45% of GAP(Glycidyl Azide Polymer), energetic plasticizer(DEGDN) and Oxidizer AP(Ammonium Perchlorate), RDX(reseach development explosive, cyclotrimethylenetrinitramine) were used to form the propellant.

        In this study, measurement and analysis results from Differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) and Thermogravimetric analysis(TGA) on the newly developed high-energy thermoplastic elastomer(ETPE) propellant are described, followed by the previous study done under the same title as this paper [1]. The characteristics of high-energy thermoplastic propellant were also verified by conducting thermal analysis, and the LSGT, Shotgun & RQ Bomb test, was carried out as well. High energetic thermoplastic binders containing 45% of GAP(Glycidyl Azide Polymer), energetic plasticizer(DEGDN) and Oxidizer Aonium Perchlorate), RDX(reseach development explosive, cyclotrimethylenetrinitramine) were used to formulate the propellant.

        Predicting Common Patterns of Livestock-Vehicle Movement Using GPS and GIS: A Case Study on Jeju Island, South Korea

        Purpose: Although previous studies have performed on-farm evaluations for the control of airborne diseases such as foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) and influenza, disease control during the process of livestock and manure transportation has not been investigated thoroughly. The objective of this study is to predict common patterns of livestock-vehicle movement. Methods: Global positioning system (GPS) data collected during 2012 and 2013 from livestock vehicles on Jeju Island, South Korea, were analyzed. The GPS data included the coordinates of moving vehicles according to the time and date as well as the locations of livestock farms and manure-keeping sites. Data from 2012 were added to Esri software ArcGIS 10.1 and two approaches were adopted for predicting common vehicle-movement patterns, i.e., point-density and Euclidean-distance tools. To compare the predicted patterns with actual patterns for 2013, the same analysis was performed on the actual data. Results: When the manure-keeping sites and livestock farms were the same in both years, the common patterns of 2012 and 2013 were similar; however, differences arose in the patterns when these sites were changed. By using the point-density tool and Euclidean-distance tool, the average similarity between the predicted and actual common patterns for the three vehicles was 80% and 72%, respectively. Conclusions: From this analysis, we can determine common patterns of livestock vehicles using previous year’s data. In the future, to obtain more accurate results and to devise a model for predicting patterns of vehicle movement, more dependent and independent variables will be considered.
