김창근,이수경,권영우,박정배 한국체육대학교 체육과학연구소 2001 국제학술대회논문집 Vol.20 No.1
The purpose of the present study was to investigate the relationship between isokinetic muscle function and muscle cross-sectional area (CSA). Twelve women participated in the present study, divided young (n=6, 23.7±1.9 year) and elderly women (n=6, 60.3±6.8 year). Isokinetic strength (power, strength, endurance) and CSA (psoas major and thigh muscles) measured with dynamometer and computerized tomograph, respectively. Cross-sectional area of psoas major muscle in elderly group revealed markedly smaller than in young group, but thigh muscle was not the case. Muscle CSA in young women correlated between power and endurance and psoas major muscle, as well as between muscle strength and CSA of thigh muscle. But no correlation occurred between strength and cross sectional area, except endurance which was highly correlated between CSA and endurance. In conclusion, aging decreases muscle function and CSA. Partially muscle strength correlated with muscle CSA in young women, but no correlation occurred in elderly women. Further study needed to elucidate the exact mechanism related to aging muscle with muscle density and neuromuscular function.

In the last years of the Qing Dynasty, the concept of “Zhonghua minzu” (Chinese nation) was formally put forward under the historical background of the simultaneous outbreak of Chinese national crisis and border crisis. And this term has gone through a long historical process from the initial nickname of the Han nationality to the final development of the concept of “national race”. With the emergence of Fei Xiaotong’s theory of unity of pluralistic society of Chinese nation, people have a better understanding and deeper interpretation of the concept of “Zhonghua minzu” (Chinese nation).
Consumers’ Sustainable Product Preference and Green Supply Chain Management Analysis
Suo Chenxia,Ma Yujie,Wang Peng,Xiao Bin,Yang Yong 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of u- and e- Service, Scienc Vol.9 No.7
With the continuous rapid growth of national economy and the prominent improvement of people’s income level, people’s consumption concepts and habits have been significantly changed. People also have higher and higher requirements for the quality of life and environment. In recent years, as the safety problems of foods and life products are frequently exposed, the quality safety problem of products also has become a focus. How to eat and use safely becomes the topic that people are most concerned about. So people all cast their eyes to gradually certified pollution-free and green sustainable products. The sustainable product is not just a fashion concept of brand consumption but also of importance significance in solving product quality safety, improving product value, protecting environment and enhancing the international competitiveness of products. In the paper, we first make a survey on consumers’ sustainable product preference by the questionnaire. The paper analyzed the problems existent in consumer sustainable product preference in the form of questionnaire , discussed the mutual relation between corporate green logistics supply and sustainable product production, and put forward beneficial suggestions for corporate green supply chain management.
Bibliometric Analysis of Chinese Borderland Studies’ Literature in CNKI Database
Suo Yinbu 아시아사회과학학회 2022 Jornal of Asia Social Science Vol.6 No.3
In recent years, the construction of Chinese Borderland Studies has entered a climax period. In order to provide more references for the development of this discipline, this paper sorts out the relevant literature collected in CNKI database, and makes a quantitative analysis of its time, author, institution, keywords and other information by using software such as EndNote and VOSviewer. The results are as follows: first, after a period of slow growth and fluctuation, the number of papers on frontier studies in China has entered a period of rapid development. Second, there are many authors involved in many disciplines and research fields, and the degree of cooperation among scholars is not high. In addition, most of these authors are concentrated in a few institutions. Third, most of the literatures on the related topics of Chinese Borderland Studies focus on the construction of the subject, but there are obvious defects in the construction of the subject, such as the research on the present situation of the borderland, the research on the coastal areas, the theoretical innovation and the insufficient understanding of foreign theories. In addition, this paper summarizes the development path of Chinese Borderland Studies and looks forward to its future.

<P><B>Motivation:</B> Genome and transcriptome analyses can be used to explore cancers comprehensively, and it is increasingly common to have multiple omics data measured from each individual. Furthermore, there are rich functional data such as predicted impact of mutations on protein coding and gene/protein networks. However, integration of the complex information across the different omics and functional data is still challenging. Clinical validation, particularly based on patient outcomes such as survival, is important for assessing the relevance of the integrated information and for comparing different procedures.</P><P><B>Results:</B> An analysis pipeline is built for integrating genomic and transcriptomic alterations from whole-exome and RNA sequence data and functional data from protein function prediction and gene interaction networks. The method accumulates evidence for the functional implications of mutated potential driver genes found within and across patients. A driver-gene score (DGscore) is developed to capture the cumulative effect of such genes. To contribute to the score, a gene has to be frequently mutated, with high or moderate mutational impact at protein level, exhibiting an extreme expression and functionally linked to many differentially expressed neighbors in the functional gene network. The pipeline is applied to 60 matched tumor and normal samples of the same patient from The Cancer Genome Atlas breast-cancer project. In clinical validation, patients with high DGscores have worse survival than those with low scores (<I>P</I> = 0.001). Furthermore, the DGscore outperforms the established expression-based signatures MammaPrint and PAM50 in predicting patient survival. In conclusion, integration of mutation, expression and functional data allows identification of clinically relevant potential driver genes in cancer.</P><P><B>Availability and implementation:</B> The documented pipeline including annotated sample scripts can be found in http://fafner.meb.ki.se/biostatwiki/driver-genes/.</P><P><B>Contact:</B> yudi.pawitan@ki.se</P><P><B>Supplementary information:</B> Supplementary data are available at <I>Bioinformatics</I> online.</P>

The Development of Syntactic Complexity in IMO Assembly Resolutions from 1959 to 2019
Suo, Mengjiao,Deng, Yaochen,Jhang, Se-Eun 새한영어영문학회 2021 새한영어영문학 Vol.63 No.3
Research on syntactic complexity has become an important field in linguistics. The aim of the current study is to investigate the diachronic changes of the syntactic complexity of International Maritime Organization (IMO) Assembly Resolutions in a period of 60 years. Under a corpus-based approach, this present study analyzes 438 texts of IMO Assembly Resolutions from 1959 to 2019. Using the Tool for the Automatic Assessment of Syntactic Sophistication and Complexity, this study measures syntactic complexity of the text by three indices which include the mean of clausal dependent types, the mean of phrase types and the mean of dependents in phrase. This investigation has revealed the syntactic features to the type of clausal, phrase and dependent in phrase of IMO Assembly Resolutions. This study then further analyzed the diachronic changes of IMO Assembly Resolutions at different periods. The results may have implications for future studies on the features of assembly resolutions in the field of Maritime English and its learning and teaching as well.
A facile macroporous resin-based method for separation of yellow and orange Monascus pigments
Suo Chen,Dong-Xiao Su,Meng-Xiang Gao,Jia-Lan Zhang,Ying-Bao Liu,Qing-Hua Wu,Hua-Lin Yang,Li Li 한국식품과학회 2021 Food Science and Biotechnology Vol.30 No.4
The yellow Monascus pigments (YMPs) namedmonascin and ankaflavin and the orange Monascus pigments(OMPs) named rubropunctatin and monascorubrinare two groups of bioactive components in a mixture statein the Monascus fermented products. In order to separatethese two groups of bioactive pigments, a facile macroporousresin-based method was developed. The weak-polarresin CAD-40 was selected from the seven tested macroporousresins as it revealed better properties for theadsorption and desorption of the YMPs and OMPs. Then,CAD-40 resin was used for column-chromatographicseparation. After eluted by 4 bed volumes of ethanol, theyellow group (monascin and ankaflavin) and the orangegroup (rubropunctatin and monascorubrin) were successfullyseparated and purified, with an increased content from49.3% and 44.2% in the crude pigment extract to 85.2%and 83.0% in the final products, respectively. This methodwould be helpful for the large-scale separation and purificationof Monascus pigment products with specificbioactivity.

The sound Pak(bottle, gourd) has played a great role to keep away devils (magic powers) from our daily lives as well as to have the meanings of producing (bear, naitre) in terms of the folk stories in Korea. This definition is attributed to the following; 1. Pak (bottle, gourd) is homonymous to pak (seed), the usages of identifying the former with the latter have brought about the dual meanings of Pak. This is due to the implication of maternal divinity of creating creatures. 2. In the 15th century literary records Puk and Pok whose meanings are seeds are marked, so that it could be natural for me to hold the hypothesis that Pak has the same origin as Puk and Pok have in etymological grounds. The sound “Puttal” in Manchurian language, meaning child or infant, can be compared with Puk which contains the meaning of seeds. 3. The founder’s family name of Shirra dynasty is Pak, and this sound Pak is not the meaning of bottle or gourd but one of seeds.
