        심폐소생술중 심실기능 및 판막운동의 평가

        Background : Mechanism of blood flow during cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR) in humans remains controversial and poorly understood, although cardiac or thoracic pump theory was proposed. We investigated cardiac movement, ventricular function and atrioventricular valve motion with aid of transesophageal echocardiography during precordial compression during CPR in humans. Methods and results : During CPR transesophageal echocardiography was performed in 14 patients with non-traumatic cardiac arrest. Manual precordial compression during CPR was performed according to American Heart Association guidelines. Mitral valve closed in 9 and did not close in 5 patients during "compression systole". Tricuspid valve closed during compression systole. Compression vector directed to right ventricle, basal portion of interventricular septum and left atrium. The heart rotated clockwise and the apex was more displaced than the base("swing motion"). Fractional shortening(FS) and ejection fraction(EF) of right ventricle exceeded those of left ventricle(FS : 55±9% vs 18±8%, p<0.05), EF : 79±9% vs 37±16%, p<0.05). FS and EF of left ventricle was higher in patients with systolic mitral valve closure than patients with persistent systolic opening of mitral valve(FS : 21±7 vs 13±7%, EF : 45±12 vs 22±12%, p<0.05), but FS and EF of right ventricle was not different. Conclusion : During precordial compression, the heart rotated clockwise and displaced. Systolic function of right ventricle exceeded left ventricle. Marked compression of right ventricle and systolic closure of tricuspid valve suggested that right ventricle functioned as a pump generating blood flow during precordial compression. Closure of mitral valve was dependant on systolic function of the left ventricle.

        혼수상태의 외상환자에서 초음파를 이용한 흉부 및 복부손상의 진단

        The need for rapid diagnosis and treatment of life-threatening thoracic and intra-abdominal injury result in controversy over the appropriate triage of unconscious blunt trauma patients. To aid in early decisions for these patients, a prospective analysis of 98 patients with glasgow coma scale(GCS) scores≤8 was undertaken. Although intra-thoracic and intra-abdominal injuries were frequently identified based on systolic blood ressure, the use of clinical signs alone resulted in more missed injuries than did using the emergency ultrasonography. In normotensive patients(n=34), intra-thoracic injuries was identified in one patient(2.9%), and intra-abdominal injuries were in 7 patients(20.6%). In shock(systolic blood pressure<90mmHg) Pa-tients(n=64), thoracic injuries and intra-abdominal injuries were diagnosed in 8(12.5%) and 27 patients(42.3%), thoracic and abdominal combined injuries were identified in 11 patients(17.2%). The sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of emergency ultrasonography were 96.3%, 91.7%, 94.9%. This study suggests that all unconscious trauma patients undergo immediate emergency ultrasonography to prevent missing life-threatening injuries.

        복합레진의 중합 수축력과 수복물의 결합양상에 관한 연구 제 2 편 결합강도

        Failure of bond between resinous restorative materials and tooth can be occured by the polymerization contraction forces larger than bond strengths. This study was planned to confirmed that the bond strengths between composite resin and acid etched enamel will be influenced by the polymerization contraction forces altered with filler contents and diameter of attached resin specimens. Ten kinds of experimental composite resins were prepared and bonded to bovine tooth enamel which were acid-etched. The diameter of resin specimens attached were 4 mm and 6 mm. The following conclusions were drawn : 1. Shear bond strengths were increased and then decreased with rise of filler contents, maximum shear bond strength was obtained by the 40% filled composite resin. 2. Unit shear bond strengths of resin specimens bonded with large area were lower than that of narrow area bonding. It was concluded that shear bond strengths to acid etched enamel can be influenced by the polymerization contraction forces.

        복합레진의 중합 수축력과 수복물의 결합양상에 관한 연구 제 1 편 : 중합수축력

        The polymerization contraction forces has a relationship with the contents of filler, and if forces surpass the bond strength between restoration and bonded surface, the failure of bond can be occured. This study was designed to evaluate the effects of filler contents on the polymerization contraction forces and to confirm whether the polymerization forces could induce the bond failure of composite resins to enamel or dentin. Low capacity load cell using strain gauge were prepared and used as a measurement system for polymerization contraction forces. Oxidized alloy surfaces, enamel surfaces and dentin surfaces were used as bonded surface. Measurements of the polymerization contraction forces were done for 1 hour, and a stress at 1 hour after was recorded as a polymerization contraction force. It was considered as a bond failure that the polymerization contraction forces increased and then decreased by the time. The following conclusions were drawn : 1. Polymerization contraction forces of composite resins were decreased by the increase of filler contents. 2. Polymerization contraction forces were increased at thickened resin specimens, but it was not significant at over two millimeter thickness. 3. Bond strength of composite resins to the acid etched enamel surfaces exceeded the polymerization contraction forces and the reduced polymerization contraction forces due to the bond failure were not confirmed. 4. Failure of bond and reduced polymerization contraction forces occured on dentin.

        복합레진의 중합 수축력과 수복물의 결합양상에 관한 연구 제 3 편 변연누출과 틈새

        This study was designed to confirm the influence of the polymerization contraction stress to the marginal leakage and gaps of resin restorations. Ten kinds of experimental composite resins were prepared with varing the filler contents to display the different polymerization contraction stress. A cavity with enamel and dentin margins were prepared on the cervical area of human tooth. Enamel margins were etched with 37% phosphoric acid for 1 minute. Experimental composite resins were filled into the cavities and immersed in water bath of 37±1℃ for 24 hours, and then immersed into dye solution. Tooth were cut through the restoration, and the infiltration of dye was observed. Marginal gaps were measured on the light microscope with 100 magnifications. The following conclusions were drawn : 1. Polymerization contraction stress and gaps showed the corelation between them, gaps were decreased by increase of filler contents. 2. There was not exist the relationships between polymerization contraction stress and marginal leakage. 3. Marginal leakage and gaps were larger at dentinal margins than enamel margins.

In addition, the effctiveness and problem of the existing master plan are evaluated through the investigation on the main hart and development procedure of the previous master plan of CJU. These results are compared and reflected to the plan of Vision 2003, e-STRR2010 and effective campus development plans of CJU are presented.

      • 모멘트법을 이용한 주기적 배열을 갖는 무한 크기의 주파수선택 표면(FSS) 해석

        In this paper, infinite frequency selective surface comprised with rectangular plates which are arranged periodically is analyzed using Method of Moment based on Galerkin's method. In analysis, it is assumed that the plates are infinite thin perfect conductors. Based on this assumption, the reflection characteristics of the FSS is compared according to the polarization of plane-wave and the direction of incidence. In the results, the variation of reflection characteristics of the FSS highly depends on the direction of incidence when the polarization of the plane-wave is parallel to the plane of incidence, but the variation is nearly independent upon direction of incidence when the polarization of the plane-wave is perpendicular to the plane of incidence.

        In this paper, the scattered electric fields is computed to predict the shielding zone by analysing the effect of the reflected azimuth anlge at the building, and considering the path differences at observation point between the rays from origin and any point in the building. The scattering coefficients, which are applicable to the prediction of shielding zone, are computed and compared with measured one. We found that the scattering power become weak over 10 degree of the azimuth angle at which the scattering coefficient is lower than 40 dB. From this. the shielding zone can be estimated.

        The purpose of this research was to analyze the correlation of the characteristics of dwellers and residential satisfaction in apartment housing. The contents of this research is to identify characteristics of dwellers, which might have an influence on residential satisfaction in apartment housing. In conclusion, the number of a family, the floor level, the size of housing unit and tenure had statistically significant correlations with the residential satisfaction in apartment housing.
