Nowadays, the incidence of heavy metal posisoning is increasing, especially in developing countries. The authours experienced and managed 6 patients highly suspected of chronic mercury poisoing. These patients were workers in a small electric lamp company, ballooning the lamps by mouth. They inhaled mercury vapor during their work. The authours evaluated these patients by EMG, MMPI, kidney and liver needle biopsy and measured the blood and urine mercury concentration by atomic absorption spectrophotometry. The results are as follows: 1) The mean duration of exposure to mercury was 40. 8±35.0 months and the mean duration of symptom and signs was 13.0±4.2 months. 2) The main symptoms of these patients were headache(5/6), generalized weakness(4/6) and tremor(2/6). 3) On routine laboratory evaluatioin including MMPI and EMG, we couldn't find any specific abnormal finding. 4) In liver biopsy, diffuse hepatocyte swelling and sinusoidal dilatations was found in 5 patients. In the EM finding of kidney biopsy, dark-black-round pigments of the lysosomes of the proximal tubular epithelial cells are found in 2 patients. 5) After chelation therapy, the blood mercury decreased and urinary excretion of mercury increased, esplcially in 2 patients who excrete little amounts of mercury before chelation therapy.

This study to provide data for the research on lactic acid in blood, by determining the difference of lactic acid in blood between experimental group and control group after exercise; by measuring exact quantity of lactic acid and reviewing the changed condition; and by examining closely the relation between exercise and lactic acid. High school students (13 students players and 13 non-players) took exercise on bicycle ergo meters at the speed of 900 kpm for 10 minutes. Disposable injector was for analyzing the blood sampling blood, and a spectrophotomer was used for analyzing the blood sample. 2ml of sample blood were taken from the vein of the left upper arm at break time, and from that of the right upper arm after exercise. The results of this experiments are as follows ; 1. The quantity of lactic acid in blood was considerably increased after exercise when it was compared to the break time for both experimental group and control group. 2.79 times was increased. The quantity in break time was 14.28㎎, whereas after exercise it was 35.75㎎. 2. The above-mentioned difference explains that exercise has an effect on the improvement of train capacity non-oxggen process. 3. More research is required, since the measurement of increasing lactic acid in blood after exrercise has an accidental error according to the sampling method and time.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs established the FarmMap, an digital map of agricultural land. In this study, using deep learning, we suggest the application of farm map reading to farmland such as paddy fields, fields, ginseng, fruit trees, facilities, and uncultivated land. The farm map is used as spatial information for planting status and drone operation by digitizing agricultural land in the real world using aerial and satellite images. A reading manual has been prepared and updated every year by demarcating the boundaries of agricultural land and reading the attributes. Human reading of agricultural land differs depending on reading ability and experience, and reading errors are difficult to verify in reality because of budget limitations. The farmmap has location information and class information of the corresponding object in the image of 5 types of farmland properties, so the suitable AI technique was tested with ResNet50, an instance segmentation model. The results of attribute reading of agricultural land using deep learning and attribute reading by humans were compared. If technology is developed by focusing on attribute reading that shows different results in the future, it is expected that it will play a big role in reducing attribute errors and improving the accuracy of digital map of agricultural land.
Effects of Exposure to 60Hz Magnetic Fields on Pineal Melatonin Levels in Human Volunteers

A pilot study was undertaken to examine the possible health effects of electromagnetic fields(EMFs). An experimental study was performed for two weeks of pre-exposure, exposure, post-exposure period of February-May 1997 to determine changes in melatonin levels in urine of five volunteers before or after exposure to electric mattress during their normal sleeping hours. An urine sample was collected at about 8 a.m. right after getting up from each volunteer. Average melatonin levels seemed to be 1.6 times lower during EMF exposure period for two weeks than the corresponding levels during pre-exposure period. Mean melatonin levels in post-exposure period were lower than the corresponding levels in pre-exposure period. It suggested that melatonin levels were likely to take more two weeks fir recovering the pre-exposure melatonin level. Further research is underway with regard to EMF exposure effects on melatonin levels between occupational and non-occupational groups.

Through reorganization in 2008, The ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs integrated management of the food industry by transferred functions which was scattered in the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and established comprehensive policies covering the primary, secondary, and tertiary industries. In the agricultural industry sector, new business concepts such as smart farm and food tech have recently emerged alongside the fourth industrial revolution. In order for the Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Affairs to develop appropriate policies for the fourth industrial revolution, it is necessary to accurately estimate the size of agricultural and livestock-related businesses. In 2017, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Affairs initiated research for the agriculture, livestock and food industry's special classification, which was approved by the National Statistical Office in 2020. The estimation of the agriculture, livestock and food industry's size based on special classification is crucial because it has a substantial impact on the formulation and significance of policies. In this paper, the appropriate rate was derived from samples extracted from the special classification and the Korean standard industrial classification. Proposed are a method for estimating the population of the agricultural and livestock food industry, as well as a method for calculating the appropriate rate that more accurately reflects the population than the method currently in use.
