암 생쥐에서 Testosterone으로 인한 유해감각예민도 둔화와 이에 대한 Naloxone의 차단효과

In order to examine the effect of testosterone on antinociception and the role of opioid system as an underlying mechanism, thirty-seven adult female mice(Institute of Cancer Research) were randomized to Naloxone(n=18) and Control group(n=19). Testosterone propionate(1mg/kg, ip) with naloxone HCL(2mg/kg, ip) or with normal saline(5ml/kg, ip) was administered on the first and the third experimental days. Nociceptive sensitivity was measured by Tail flick test(TFL, sec) before and after injection on the first and the third experimental days. The same dose of testosterone was injected on the second experimental day. The results were as follows; 1.TFL of control group was significantly increased by testosterone. TFL of control group measured on the first experimental day before and after injection were 5.5±1.1 sec(mean±sd) and 6.3±1.2 sec, respectively, and the change was significant(t=4.06, p=0.001). That measured on the third experimental day before injection was 5.9±1.0, showing a significant increase compared to that of the first experimental day(t=2.37, p=0.029). 2.Testosterone-induced antinociception was blocked by naloxone. In naloxone group, change in TFLs measured before(5.6±0.8) and after(5.3±0.9) injection was not significant on the first experimental day. On the third day, TFL measured before injection(6.6±1.2) was increased significantly than that of the first experimental day(t=2.87, p=0.011), but it decreased to baseline level after injection of naloxone(5.3±1.3; t=4.73, p=0.000). From these results, it is suggested that testosterone has antinociceptive effect, which is mediated by endogenous opioid system.

The optical charge pumping (CP) technique is proposed as a simple and fast method for extracting the energy distribution of interface trap, $D_{it}$, of silicon-oxide-nitride-oxide-silicon (SONOS) flash memories. It is based on the optical response of a subthreshold slope of a SONOS memory cell transistor and is more effectively applicable to nano-scale emerging devices than the conventional CP technique, because no electrical pulse is required during extraction and because the current is measured not from the substrate, but from the drain contact. This means that a large gate current can be easily corrected by monitoring both the gate current and the drain current, no parasitic effect is caused by excluding the pulse measurement setup, and the extraction of $D_{it}$ in devices on silicon-on-insulator substrates is possible. The results applied to SONOS memories show that the generation rate of interface traps with program/erase cycles is higher in the NAND flash scheme rather than in the NOR flash scheme.

<P>As a solution to the high speed, ultralow power, and extremely compact ADC circuit block, a complementary single-electron transistor (SET)/CMOS hybrid amplifier-based analog-to-digital converter (ADC) is proposed. It is implemented with a physics-based SPICE model including nonideal effects in real Si-based SET<SUB>s</SUB> such as the tunnel barrier lowering effect, parasitic MOSFET<SUB>s</SUB> operation, and the phase shift of Coulomb oscillation by the bias of a gate other than a main control gate. Its core scheme is the combination of both the amplification of SET current by MOSFET<SUB>s</SUB> and the suppression of a Coulomb blockade oscillation valley current by the differential amplification. In addition, the transient operation of SET/CMOS hybrid circuit-based ADC<SUB>s</SUB> fully accounting for nonideal effects of real SET<SUB>s</SUB> is successfully demonstrated for the first time. Compared with the previous SET-based ADC<SUB>s</SUB>, our ADC makes features of the immunity to nonideal effects, large voltage swing of the output signal, and high load drivability.</P>

Warthin's tumor is composed of glandular and often cystic structures with a papillary cystic arrangement, lined by characteristic eosinophilic epithelium. The stroma contains lymphoid tissue. Between 5 and 10 percent of all parotid gland tumors are Warthin's tumor and occurs almost exclusively in the parotid galnd. This tumor is much more common in men than in women (5:1). Histologically it is composed of epithelial and lymphoid tissue. The treatment of this tumor is surgical excision and seldom recur after removal. Recently, We had experienced a case of warthin's tumor of the parotid gland in a 66 year old male treated with surgical removal.

최근에 IT 기술을 이용한 장애인의 복지 증진을 위한 많은 연구들이 진행되고 있다. 특히 거리에 설치된 수많은 모바일 센서들을 활용하여 라이프 로그를 사용하는 방법들이 많이 제안되고 있다. 이러한 시스템들은 획득한 자료를 저장하고 네트워크를 통하여 서버에 전송하고, 라이프 로그를 분석함으로써 해당 장애인이 위험에 노출되어 있는 지를 판단하는 것이다. 특히 장애인의 경우 위험에 노출되기 쉬우며 매번 보조자들이 함께 다녀야 한다는 부담 때문에 외출을 두려워하는 경향이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이러한 심리적 부담감을 덜어주기 위한 방법으로 스마트 기기를 이용하여 장애인의 라이프 로그를 기록하고 분석할 수 있는 시스템을 제안한다. In recent years, many researchers studies to promote the welfare of disabled people using IT technology. In particular, their suggestions are used a lot of mobile sensor installed on the street. These systems are acquired and to store the data sent to the server over the network, and by analyzing the users life log to judge of their risk state. In particular, persons with disabilities are exposed to various risks. So, they must need to the guardians if he go out. Thus, this study is a method for alleviating these so much pressure to smart appliances and impaired life log analysis system.
Ethylene Release of Panax ginseng in Relation to Plant Part and Various Conditions

Ethylene was released from leaf and fruit but root of Panax ginseng. Root callus showed higher ethylene release (ER) than fruit ER increased with leaf senesence. Fruit during ripening showed decreasing ER in the order of green stage, early stage of reddening and fully ripened stage. between leaves from the plant with fruits in different stages of ripening showed similar trend of fruit in ER but it was about 10 times higher in leaves than in fruits. Leaves of P. quinquefolius showed about 200 times higher ER than that of P ginseng on 22 July Fruits from the plant treated with ethephon showed higher ER after 109 days. Forty-five day-old seedlings grown with various growth regulators showed a significant decrease of stem length and significant increase of ER only in Uniconazole (0.1 ppm) and H-9 (0.0, 5 ppm) solution.

As the first female artist of Western painting in the modern times, Hey-seok Na is the historical figure in Suwon, who went ahead of the times. Suwon City established the street of Hey-seok Na to commemorate her, in Ingye-dong, Paldal-gu. Street-establishment business for the historical figures is one of the factors with the biggest effects for the creation of local cultures. It has many merits such as the offer of fine view of city and resting area as well as giving the pride and educational effects to its residents. However, there are memorial hall or exhibitional hall not established in the street of Hey-seok Na, with the lacks in attractions and convenience facilities. With a poor decorative arrangement in the vicinity of the street, the meaning of street establishment and the image of Hey-seok Na are not well-delivered. Accordingly, the initial plan to make the street with citizens has not been well carried out. This research classified and analyzed the achievements and thoughts of Hey-seok Na, to embody it as the image and the concept of design to be expressed for the street was picked out. As a result, the image of Hey-seok Na, as the historical figure was set at modern times. the existing facilities in the street of Hey-seok Na was analyzed, centering on the time-factor of the modern times, deciding the spacial goal pursued by the street along with things to be improved.
